Be Your vehicle is an ultra-high-performance, high-speed vehicle, designed exclusively for outdoor driving. For best driving results, make sure you ALWAYS operate your vehicle in a large open space, like a playground. NEVER drive your vehicle toward people, animals or fragile objects!
Bes Your vehicle is a racing-style R/C motorcycle, engineered for operation on smooth, hard surfaces like pavement or asphalt. NEVER drive your vehicle on any other kind of surface. Skid Plates When you're learning how to drive your vehicle, you may find that you have more success when the special skid plates are attached. The skid plates attach to the bottom of the vehicle as shown, NOTE: You will need to remove the Skid Plates in order to access the vehicle's Battery Door. Steering With the skid plates attached, you can launch your vehicle from a standing start (with the vehicle resting on one of the skid plates). Simply pull the transmitters trigger to drive forward, using the steering control as necessary to drive in a straight line as you accelerate. Launching Your Vehicle For a pro racing start, use the included Launcher/Display Stand as shown:
{a) Place the launcher on a smooth, flat driving surface.
{b) Place the vehicle onto the launcher as shown.
(c} Stand on the launcher as shown. The launcher will lift the vehicle's rear tire off the ground.
(d} Pull the transmitters trigger to activate the vehicle's drive motor. Hold the trigger to fet the rear wheel spin up to speed.
(e) Keep holding the trigger as you lift your foot from the launcher, the vehicle will drop onto the ground and hit the ground running!
A. Braking Systems Your vehicle is engineered with two advanced braking systems for maximum performance:
1, When you release the transmitters trigger while driving, the vehicle will coast to a gradual stop. 2. For a quicker stop, push the transmitter's trigger forward. Your vehicle will come to a stop almost immediately. B. Turbo Boost . After 3+ seconds of driving you can push and hold gown the turbo button for an extra burst of speed. C. "Rev-up" Button You can push the sound button any time, while driving, to activate the vehicle's cool sound feature, D. Driving Tip For tighter turns, pulse the trigger as you're heading into a turn. E. Display Stand Turn the Launcher over to convert it to a display stand for your vehicle. Place the vehicle onto the display stand as shown. Your vehicle features the advanced Tyco R/C MultiBand system. This system lets you race your vehicle head-to-head against up to 3 of your friends {up to 4 drivers total) ~ without any radio interference problems.
* Theres one MultiBand Selector Switch an your vehicle chassis, and another one on your transmitter. The vehicle switch has 4 positions:
one for each MultiBand setting. 4321 The transmitter switch also has 4 positions: one for each MultiBand setting. 1234 .
+ For successful operation, the vehicle switch and the transmitter switch must be set to the same MultiBand setting. When you're drivin by yourself, you_can set the switches to any of the 4 MultiBand settings (as long as they match). When you want to race with other RC vehicles, just make sure each driver is tuned to a different Multiband setting.
+ To operate your vehicle, just turn the vehicle ON. Push any transmitter control and you will be able to run and control your vehicle. 38 Anon-MultiBand vehicle, running on the same frequency as your vehicle, may interfere with operation of your vehicle. If you are racing against a non-MultiBand vehicle, make sure that vehicle operates on a frequency different from yours. If you need to change the MultiBand setting, first make sure that your vehicle is turned OFF, Change the switch position as desired, making sure to change both the transmitter AND the vehicle switches. Then turn your vehicle back ON for more racing action. NOTE: Make certain you're not pressing a transmitter control while changing selector switch position. Your vehicle uses two different power sources:
4 AA alkaline batteries PLUS a 7.2V NiCd rechargeable battery pack. For detailed information regarding rechargeable battery charging and safety, please refer to the Battery Charging/Care Section. To install the 4 AA alkaline batteries:
1, Rotate the battery door latch to unlocked position and open the battery door. 2. Use a screwdriver {not included) to apen the interior battery door. 3. Install 4 AA alkaline batteries in the interior battery compartment, with polarity (+/-) as shown inside battery compartment. 4, Replace the interior battery door and tighten the screw. To install the 7.2V NiCd battery pack:
1. Insert the charged battery pack into the battery compartment as shown. 2. Connect the battery packs' wire connector to the vehicle's wire connector as shown. Make certain the connectors are securely snapped together. 3. Close the battery door and rotate the battery door latch to locked position. 2k The 4 AA alkaline batteries will last much fonger than the running time of the charged 7.2V NiCd battery pack. When the vehicle stops, the headlights blink, and you hear a beep every two seconds--you should recharge the 7.2V NiCd battery pack. When
. you hear a double-beep--change the 4 AA alkaline batteries.
