Refer to your Bluetooth devices user manual or technical support to determine if your Bluetooth devices supports these profiles. 2 A Consumer Guide to Product Safety IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS When use in the directed manner, this unit has been designed and manufactured to assure your personal safety. However, improper use can result in potential electrical shock or fire hazards. Please read all safety and operation instructions carefully before installation and use. Keep these instructions handy for future reference. Take special note, and adhere to all warnings on the unit and in the instruction and service manual. 1. Water and Moisture - The unit shall not be used near water. For example, near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement or near a swimming pool, etc. 2. Ventilation - The unit should be situated so that its location or position does not interfere with its proper ventilation. For example, it should not be situated on a bed, sofa, rug or similar surface that be block the ventilation operations; or placed in a built-in installation, such as bookcase or cabinet that may impede the flow of air through the ventilation openings. 3. Heat - The unit should be situated away from heat source, such as radiator, heat register, stoves or other 4. Lighting and Power Surge Protection Unplug the unit from the wall outlet and disconnect the antenna or cable system during a lighting storm or when it is left unattended and unused for long periods of time. This will prevent damage to the product due to lighting and power-line surge. 10. Overloading Do not overload wall outlet, extension cords or integral convenience receptacles as this can result in a risk of fire or electric shock. 11. Damage Requiring Service The appliance should be serviced by qualified service personnel when:
a. The power supply cord or pug has been damaged. b. Objects have fallen into or liquid has been spilled into the enclosure. c. The unit has been exposed to rain. d. The unit has been dropped or the enclosure damaged. e. The unit exhibits a marked change in performance or does not operate normally. 12. Periods of Nonuse If the unit is to be left unused for an extended period of time, such as a month or longer, the power cord should be unplugged and take out batteries from the unit to prevent damage or corrosion. 13. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the users authority to operate the equipment. 5 Getting Started Thank you for purchasing the Stereo Speaker whichs designed specifically to work with your iPod and play Bluetooth audio wirelessly from your mobile phone, computer or other devices via Bluetooth or with wire via line-in cord, this product provides high quality audio performance that brings out the best in your music. Please read this manual carefully before operating the Stereo Speaker and keep it for future reference. Package Contents 1 audio patch Cord 1 USB cable 1 remote control (1 CR2302 battery pre-installed) 1 Stereo Speaker main unit 1 AC adaptor 4 iPod inserts Connect AC Adaptor Connect the USB cable plug into the jack on the back of the Stereo Speaker and the other end of the USB cable to AC adaptor, then plug the AC adaptor into the wall outlet. When connected the AC adaptor, the Stereo Speaker charges your iPod and allows you to play it. Note: iPod does not charge when the Stereo Speaker is operating on batteries. This AC adaptor is for use with the Stereo Speaker only. To avoid damage, do not use another kind of adaptor with the Stereo Speaker. Install/Replace Batteries 1. Open the battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the unit. 2. Insert 4 AA batteries, checking the polarity (+ and ends of the battery) matches the drawing near the battery 6 compartment. Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed. 3. Close the compartment cover. Note:

Note: Your Bluetooth device (mobile phone, MP3 player, PDA, etc.) must support the HSP, HFP, A2DP and AVRCP Bluetooth profiles to pair with Stereo Speaker. Please refer to your devices user manual for details on the Bluetooth profiles it supports and on how to set the devices Bluetooth pairing, searching mode. Pairing and Linking Your Bluetooth Device with Stereo Speaker 1. Make sure your Bluetooth device is fully charged. 2. Power up your Bluetooth device and connect your Stereo Speaker to AC adaptor. 3. Turn on Bluetooth functionality on your Bluetooth device. Typically, Bluetooth controls are found on the devices tools or setting menu (see your user manual). Turn on Bluetooth connectivity. 4. Press the Power/End Button on the Stereo Speaker to put it in pairing mode. The blue and red indicators on Stereo Speaker will flash. 5. Choose add a new Bluetooth device on your device. It will start to search. If the pairing attempt fails or time out, press and hold Play/Pause Button on Stereo Speaker for 3 second to restart the process, and repeat add a new Bluetooth device on your Bluetooth device. 6. After your device and Stereo Speaker have discovered each other, you will be asked to enter a pass-code on your Bluetooth device. The pass-code for Stereo Speaker is : 1234 7. A pairing successful or similar message should appear on your device and the blue indicator on the STEREO SPEAKER should flashing twice a time following. 8. Pairing will remain intact even if either or both devices are powered off. However, the active link between the devices will be lost and need to be re-established. 9. To re-establish a link, select Stereo Speaker from the Bluetooth device menu on your Bluetooth device or press Answer Button on Stereo Speaker. 10. To disconnect the link between Stereo Speaker and Bluetooth device, press the Power/End Button to turn 10 unit off. Playing Bluetooth Music 1. Once your device and the Stereo Speaker are paired and linked, you can start to play Bluetooth music through the Stereo Speaker. 2. Initiate music playing on your Bluetooth device. 3. Press Play/Pause Button on the Stereo Speaker or remote control to play your Bluetooth device. 4. Press Play/Pause Button again to pause play, press again o resume it. 5. Press or Button on the Stereo Speaker or remote control to go to the next or previous track. 6. Use the Volume or Button on the Stereo Speaker or remote control to adjust the system volume. 7. Change to listen to iPod, press and hold Play/Pause Button for 3 second. 8. To turn off the Stereo Speaker, press the Power/End Button on the main unit or remote control. Listening to Your PC Before using your PC with the Stereo Speaker, make sure your PC is paired and linked with Stereo Speaker. See Bluetooth pairing section for details. Note: Your PC or notebook must have Bluetooth build-in or a Bluetooth dongle plugged in with HFP, HSP, A2DP
& AVRCP Bluetooth profiles and a program of music player and Bluetooth driver/software program installed. Please refer to the user manual of music player, Bluetooth driver/software program for details on the Bluetooth profiles it supports and on how to set the Bluetooth pairing/searching mode and music playback. 1. Once your PC and the Stereo Speaker are paired and linked, click Bluetooth AV Audio (Advanced Voice Audio) connection on the Bluetooth software program. 2. Launch the music player on PC and play your favorite music. You can hear the music streamed to the STEREO SPEAKER wirelessly. 3. Press Play/Pause Button on the Stereo Speaker or remote control to play your PC. 4. Press or Button on the Stereo Speaker or remote control to go to the next or previous track. 11 5. The music players supported by Stereo Speaker are : Windows Media Player 9.0, Real Player 10, Winamp 5.0, Musicmatch 9.0 and iTune 4.0 or all the higher version on PC. 3. iTune shall be put in the foreground if you want to remote control the music player from Stereo Speaker. 4. Enter the desired number on your mobile phone to dial out. 2. To redial the last number dialed, rapidly press the Talk Button twice. 3. Voice Dial : If you have voice dial, press Talk Button once to enter into voice dial, following the instruction from mobile phone for a voice dial. 4. To hang up, press the Power/End Button. Answering and Making VoIP Calls with your PC Before using your VoIp call with the Stereo Speaker, make sure your PC is paired and linked with Stereo Speaker. See Bluetooth pairing section for details. Note: VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is a protocol optimized for the transmission of voice through the Internet or other packet switched networks like Skype, MSN, etc. Answering a Call 1. Once your PC and the Stereo Speaker are paired and linked, click Bluetooth Headset connection on the Bluetooth software proram. 2. To answer a call, press the Answer Button on Stereo Speaker or click Talk on your VoIP software program. The Stereo Speaker will now function as a speaker phone. 3.
