Main Street South Norwalk, CT 06854 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Keypads are turned ON by depressing any key on the face of the handset A on the keypad LCD Screen indicates that the keypad is ON Keypads not hearing any pulse from the Transceiver Base Station (TBS), will turn off in approximately :60 seconds Keypads may be turned off manually by depressing the * key and holding it for 3+
seconds Single Digit Data from a Keypad is transmitted by depressing the appropriate key Multiple Digit Data from a Keypad is transmitted by depressing the appropriate keys, followed by the SEND key Keypad Channels are set by commands from the PC. However manual assignment can be accomplished onboard by depressing the letter keys B & D simultaneously and waiting (approximately 3+ seconds) for the letter C to appear in the LCD. A new Channel Number may then be entered Keypad Numbers can be set onboard by depressing the # key and waiting
(approximately 3+ seconds) for the # icon to appear in the LCD. A new Keypad Number may then be entered The CLEAR Key will back-out digits on the LCD screen one at a time, or if held for 2+ seconds, will clear the LCD screen completely (except for the Flag or Call icons) The FLAG Key and the CALL Key can be set by depressing the appropriate Key. The FLAG or CALL icon will appear on the LCD screen. Depressing the key a second time, will clear the icon from the LCD, or it may be cleared by a command from the PC Entering a USER SPECIFIC ID# is accomplished by depressing the LOG Key. The LOG-IN icon will appear on the LCD. The user then enters the appropriate ID#, and depresses the LOG Key a second time to set and allow the ID# to be retrieved A BATTERY icon light on the LCD screen automatically when the Battery power falls below an acceptable level. Replace battery promptly. Depressing the letter keys A & E keys simultaneously for 3+ seconds, will clear all memory held in the Keypad, and re-set the Keypad to its original factory setting
