As your personal medication companion, Jon uses different alerts, such as a beep, light and phone call to remind you to take your medications at the scheduled day and time. and are continually charging when the unit is plugged in. Jon is equipped with cellular technology used to communicate with MedMinders central computer. Like a cell phone, Jon requires wireless coverage in the area where you are using the unit. Please use only the power cord that came with your unit to plug Jon into an electrical outlet. Though the process is very simple, if you are not comfortable using the Internet, your caregiver can complete the registration or you can contact MedMinder and we will be happy to help. Go to www.medminder.com and click on Register New Account. Follow instructions for registering the account and setting personal preferences. During registration, you will need the unique ID that is on the bottom of the Jon unit. You or your caregiver will be able to change personal preferences as needed, and can invite other caregivers to log in. Need help with registration?

(1-888-633-6463) SET UP & POWER ON Remove Jon from the box and place the unit on a Stable, Dry Surface. Insert one end of the power cord into the units Power Cord Plug-in and the other end into an electrical outlet. After you press the Power Button, Jon powers On. The Status Light will turn on indicating Jon's status. FILL/REFILL To fill or refill cup(s), pull the Lid Latch on the front of the unit and lift the WED-4 Tab. The Status Light turns steady YELLOW. Once youve placed the medications in the proper cup(s) by days of week and times of day, close the Lid until it snaps shut. You can lock the Lid by using the Key Lock on the bottom of the unit. When it is time to Refill, the Status Light blinks GREEN and reminders are activated according to your set personal preferences. Using Jon Daily Once you have set up Jon and powered on (See Step 2), there is no need to turn off the unit (unless you are going away). Jon is continuously operating. When you are scheduled to take your medication, the appropriate compartment flashes and you will get reminders based on your set personal preferences. Open the appropriate compartment and Remove the Cup. After taking your medication, be sure to Return the Cup and close the Compartment Door. If the Cup is not removed within the set timeframe, you and your caregiver(s) will receive further alerts, depending on your set personal preferences.
