For vertical positioning, attached the included feet to the subwoofer as shown. A single screw conveniently fastens each foot. Once the feet are attached, the sub can be placed against a wall or even hidden away behind a couch. Set the Wireless Subwoofer Channel Set the Wireless Channel Switch on the console and the subwoofer to the same number. If you receive any interfer-

ence or connection is not made, try setting both units to an alternate number. Console Wireless CODE 1 2 3 4 Sub Wireless CODE 1 2 3 4 5 Attach Swivel Base The included swivel base allows you to angle the 4TV console to your listening area. If desired, attach the swivel base with the supplied screw on the bottom of the 4TV console using a Phillips head screwdriver as shown. Audio Best Connection: Digital Optical Make your Connections Power Connect the included power cord to a nearby power outlet on console and wireless subwoofer. Good Connection: Analog RCA Connectors 6 Once wire connections are complete, press the Digital or Analog button on the 4TV control panel to select the correct input. Once power connection is complete, connect your digital optical audio cable from the Airport Express to the digital optical input labeled Airport. Apple Airport Express (old & new versions) Turn on the Console To connect an original Airport Express to the 4TV, simply slide it into the Power Port as shown. To connect the new Airport Express to the 4TV, use the included power adapter cable as shown. When the console Power Switch on the rear panel is first turned on, press the Power button on the 4TV control panel to turn the console on. The Power button light will go from red to blue and the blue control panel status lights will illuminate as well. After playing the unit, all the LEDs will go out. If no audio signal is introduced for 10 minutes, the unit goes into a low power sleep state and the LED comes back on a solid red. To turn the console on from a solid red state, approach the front of the console and it will activate the proximity sensor. The solid red LED will change to slowly blinking red. Now the Power button can be used to turn on the console. A remote control may be used to turn the console on at any time. 7 Setting Volume Level Program your Remote Control (Program Volume +) Press the Volume - button to lower the system volume. Press the Volume + button to make the system volume louder. Step 1. Press the Remote Learning button on the 4TV control panel. The Remote Learning light will turn on and flash. Adjusting the Subwoofer Volume Sub VOL The subwoofer volume level is best set up by turning the volume control on the subwoofer to about 3/4 full, then adjust with the consoles rear mounted subwoofer volume knob to the amount of bass you desire. Bass output may vary due to room environment and location of the 4TV. Sub VOL Sub VOL Sub VOL Step 2. Press the Volume + button on the 4TV control panel to be learned. The Remote Learning and Volume + buttons will light. Setting the Trim Switch (Optional) Step 3. While pointing your TV or Cable/Sat remote control to the 4TV, press the Volume + button on the remote control 4 times to be learned. The Remote Learning light and the Volume + light on the 4TV will blink 4 times and then turn off to confirm. Note: If Remote Learning is not confirmed, lights will blink alternating several times. Trim 1 2 3 Use the rear mounted trim switch to adjust the level of input from your TV or other audio device. Some TVs or devices may have a weak output signal or the signal strength may be too strong and can create noise. There are 3 positions on the switch to allow you to adjust to the optimal setting. Aux Input Using Apple AirPort Express Connect your audio device using a 1/8 mini stereo cable to the back input panel of the 4TV. To select this input press the AUX button on the control panel. After connecting your AirPort Express to the rear panel, press the wireless/connect symbol button on the control panel to engage the audio. Zone Output To send audio to another room, simply connect and integrated amplifier or receiver to the Zone Output RCA analog connectors on the back panel of the 4TV. Using Bluetooth Wireless Music Streaming Press the Bluetooth button on the Control Panel. The blue light will blink. The LED blinks fast when it is looking for a previously paired device. Press the Bluetooth button for about 10 seconds until the LED blinks slowly (this is the pairing mode). Then place your Bluetooth-enabled Smartphone or computer in pairing mode to look for the 4TV and then select. Once paired the blue light with turn solid. Encienda la consola Para conectar un Airport Express original a la 4TV, deslcelo simplemente hasta el puerto de alimentacin tal como se muestra. Para conectar el Airport Express nuevo a la 4TV, utilice el cable adaptador de alimentacin que viene incluido tal como se muestra en la imagen. Cuando est activado primero el botn de encendido de la con-

sola en el panel trasero, pulse el botn de encendido del panel de control de 4TV para encender la consola. La luz del botn de encendido cambiar de rojo a azul y las luces del estado del panel de control se iluminarn tambin. Una vez se haya utilizado la unidad, todas las luces LED se apagarn. Si en diez minutos no se ha conectado ninguna seal de audio, la unidad pasa a un estado de consumo bajo de energa y la luz LED vuelve a estar roja. Para conectar la consola con la luz en rojo, acrquese al frontal de la consola y se activar el sensor de proximidad. La luz LED roja intensa cambiar a una luz roja parpadeante. Ahora el botn de encendido/apagado puede utilizarse para encender la consola. Puede utilizarse un mando a distancia para encender la consola en cualquier momento. 31 Configuracin del nivel del volumen Pulse el botn - de volumen para disminuir el volumen del sistema. Audio Bester Anschluss: Digital-optisch Anschlsse herstellen Strom Stecken Sie die Stecker der beiliegenden Netzkabel fr Konsole und Drahtlos-Subwoofer in eine Steckdose am Aufstellort. Guter Anschluss: Analog, RCA-Kabel 42 Nach Herstellung der Kabelverbindungen drcken Sie die Taste Digital bzw. Analog auf der 4TV-Bedienleiste, um den korrekten Eingang zu whlen. Apple Airport Express (alte & neue Versionen) Nach Herstellung der Stromversorgung schlieen Sie das digital-optische Audio-Kabel des Airport Express an den digital-optischen Eingang, der mit Airport bezeichnet ist, an. Konsole einschalten Zum Anschluss eines Original Airport Express an die 4TV schieben Sie ihn wie abgebildet einfach in den Energieport ein. Zum Anschluss eines neuen Airport Express an die 4TV benutzen Sie das beigefgte Adapterkabel (siehe Abb.). Nach dem ersten Einschalten der Konsole ber den Ein-/Ausschalter an der Rckseite der Konsole drcken Sie die Ein-Taste auf der 4TV-Bedienleiste, um sie einzuschalten. Die Kontrollleuchte der Einschalttaste wechselt von rot auf blau, und auch die blauen Status-Leuchten auf der Bedienleiste leuchten auf. Nach einem kompletten Durchlauf erlschen alle LEDs. Falls innerhalb von 10 Minuten kein Audio-Signal eintrifft, schaltet das Gert auf Sparmodus und die LED leuchtet dauerhaft rot. Zum Einschalten der Konsole aus diesem roten Sparmodus, treten sie an die Konsolenvorderseite, um den Nherungssensor zu aktivieren. Die stndig rote LED schaltet zuerst auf rot blinkend. Nun knnen Sie die Konsole mit der Ein-Taste einschalten. Sie knnen die Konsole auch jederzeit ber eine Fernbedienung einschalten. 43 Lautstrkepegel einstellen Drcken Sie die Taste Lautstrke-, um die Lautstrke zu reduzieren. Drcken Sie die Taste Lautstrke+, um die Lautstrke zu erhhen. Subwooferpegel regeln Sub VOL Sub VOL Sub VOL Sub VOL Um den Lautstrkepegel am Subwoofer einzustellen, drehen Sie den zugehrigen Lautstrkeregler auf ca. 3/4 der vollen Leis-

tung. Stellen Sie anschlieend den Lautstrkeregler des hinten an der Konsole befestigten Subwoofers so ein, dass Sie mit dem Basssound zufrieden sind. Das Bass-Ausgangssignal kann je nach Raumumgebung und Aufstellort des 4TV-Systems variieren. Fernbedienung programmieren (Lautstrke programmieren) Schritt 1: Drcken sie die Taste Remote Learning auf de 4TV-Bedienleiste. Die Kontrollleuchte der Einlese-Funktion beginnt zu blinken. Schritt 2: Drcken Sie die Taste Lautstrke+ auf der 4TV-Bedienleiste, um sie in die Fernbedienung einzulesen. Die Kontrollleuchte der Remote Learning Taste leuchtet auf. Trimm-Schalter einstellen (wahlweise) Schritt 3: Whrend zeigte Ihrem Fernseher oder Kabel/Sat Fernbedienung Die 4TV, drcken Sie die Lautstrke + Taste auf der Fernbedienung 4 mal sein gelernt. Zur Aktivierung dieses Musikmodus drcken Sie einfach die Taste EQ auf der Bedienleiste, bis die blaue Leuchte ber dem Noten-Icon steht. Verbesserter Dialogmodus LDie 4TV bietet einen Enhanced Dialogue Mode zur optimierten Dialogklangerfassung fr Film und Fernsehen.
