Determine a location for the baby unit that will allow you to hear your baby in his/her cot. Place the baby unit on a flat surface, such as a dresser, bureau, or shelf. NEVER place the baby unit or cords within the cot. Lift up the battery cover to remove it from the baby unit. 2. Insert the rechargeable Ni-MH battery cells supplied. Note the + and
- markings beside the battery compartment and insert in the correct direction. 3. Place the battery cover back into place. 4. To install batteries into another baby unit, repeat the above steps. Connect the baby unit 1. Plug the supplied USB type-C cable into the USB-C power socket. 2. Plug the USB-C power socket cable into the power jack on the side of the parent unit and plug the other end into the wall socket. Connect and charge 9 3. Switch on the AC power (if your AC power outlet has a switch). The battery charging LED indicator will light up in red and turn dim when the batteries are fully charged. 4. To connect another baby unit, repeat the above steps. Note: If the battery charging LED indicator flashes red when turning on the power button, it means the battery level is low and needs recharging. (> 3 ft) Make sure there is a minimum distance of 2 meters (6 feet) between the parent and baby units to avoid audio feedback. If there is noise interference, move the baby and parent units further apart. There is, however, no restriction on the distance between two baby units.

(> 6ft) Make sure the parent and baby units are not placed near other electrical equipment. Move the parent and baby units 2 meters (5 feet) away from other electrical equipment. If any of the baby units has lost its link with the parent unit, the linking LED indicator on the parent unit will flash green. Move the baby unit closer to the parent unit. 3.3 Operating range The digital audio baby monitor has a range of up to 300 metres (1000 feet) outdoors when there is a clear line of sight between the baby and parent units. Any obstruction between the units will reduce the range significantly. Check the microphone and speaker 3.4 Speak into the microphone of each baby unit. You should be able to hear the sound from the parent unit. Adjust the speaker volume of the parent unit to the desired volume when necessary. Refer to section 6.5 for volume level settings. Make sure all units are powered on, and the distance between the parent and baby units is less than 300 metres
(1000 feet). 4.3 Status icons on the parent unit Indicates the current signal strength level (4 levels). The night light (with the number and name) is on. The speaker is muted. Indicates the current battery level
(3 levels). The talk back mode is on. A baby unit (with its number and name) is connected. The cycle mode is on. The lullaby playback is on. The temperature unit. Listening and cycling modes 4.4 In standby mode, press continuously to select to listen to individual or all baby units. When a baby unit is selected, the screen will display a bordered box around the chosen baby unit. Then you will be able to listen to this baby unit. When two or more baby units are connected, you can select to cycle through all connected units. When the screen displays a bordered box around all baby units, you will be able to listen to each baby unit in sequence, with each segment lasting 15 seconds. 4.5 Adjust the speaker volume on the parent unit Press + / - to increase or decrease the volume. It has 5 volume levels and mute. 12 Using the digital audio baby monitor 4.6 Mute the speaker Press continuously or press and hold - to mute the speaker of the parent unit. To name another baby unit, repeat from step 1. 4.10 Register/Deregister a baby unit Your two baby units are already pre-registered to your parent unit. There is no need to register them again unless one or both of them lose the link with the parent unit. When a baby unit loses the link, the temperature icon on the screen will flash and no temperature value will be displayed. To re-register an existing baby unit or to register a new baby unit, follow the steps below. 1. Make sure the baby unit is switched off. 2. Press and hold on the baby unit until you hear a beep tone and the LED on the baby unit flashes. The baby unit enters pairing mode. 3. On the parent unit, press MENU / OK then scroll + / - to REGISTER. 4. Press MENU / OK then scroll + / - to PAIR. 5. Press MENU / OK to confirm. When pairing is successful, SUCCEED will appear on the screen and you will hear a beep tone. Notes: You can register up to 4 baby units and the parent unit will automatically assign a number for the newly registered baby unit. Using the digital audio baby monitor 13 To deregister a baby unit, follow the steps below. 1. On the parent unit, press MENU / OK then scroll MENU / OK to REGISTER. 2. Press MENU / OK then scroll + / - to UNPAIR. 3. Press MENU / OK then scroll + / - to select a baby unit. 4. Press MENU / OK to confirm. When unpairing is successful, SUCCEED will appear on the screen and you will hear a beep tone. 4.11 Reset the baby monitor 1. Press MENU / OK then scroll + / - to RESET. 2. Press MENU / OK two times to confirm. 4.12 Set the key tone on or off. 1. Press MENU / OK then scroll + / - to KEY TONE. 2. Press MENU / OK two times to confirm. 4.13 Temperature 4.13.1 Set the temperature format 1. Press MENU / OK then scroll + / - to TEMPERATURE 2. Press MENU / OK then scroll + / - to C/F. 3. Press MENU / OK then scroll + / - to select a desired option. Press MENU / OK to confirm. 4.13.2 Set the temperature alert 1. Press MENU / OK then scroll + / - to TEMPERATURE. 2. Help The power / linking LED Indicator on the parent unit does not turn on. Check whether the parent unit is powered on. Check whether the batteries are correctly installed and not drained. Connect the parent unit to the power supply to recharge it. The power / linking LED indicator on the parent unit flashes. The parent unit and the baby unit may be out of range with each other. Reduce the distance between the units. Make sure the distance between the parent unit and baby unit is less than 300 metres (1000 feet). The baby unit may be powered off. Press and hold power it on. on the baby unit to Unable to hear the sound or baby cry from the parent unit. The volume level in the parent unit may be set too low. Increase the volume level of the parent unit. Refer to section 6.5 for volume level settings. The parent unit and the baby unit may be out of range with each other. Make sure the distance between the parent unit and baby unit is less than 300 metres. The Digital Audio Baby Monitor system produces a high-pitched noise. The parent unit and the baby unit are too close with each other. Move the baby and parent units further apart. Make sure the distance between the parent unit and baby unit is less than 300 metres (1000 feet). The speaker volume of the parent unit may be set too high. Decrease the volume of the parent unit. Refer to section 6.5 for volume level settings. Powered by non-rechargeable batteries. If for any reason the Ni-MH batteries are lost and you would like to use the baby monitor, you can install AAA size non-rechargeable batteries, such as alkaline batteries, to power your baby monitor.
