STEP 2 : INSTALLATION OF BATTERIES STEP 4 : RECHARGING THE BATTERY Remote Controller 1. Switch the power to the "OFF" position. 2. Unscrew and remove the battery compartment cover, located on the back of the handset, with a Phillips screwdriver. (see Fig. 3) 3. Insert 1 x 9V Alkaline battery in the proper direction as indicated inside the battery compartment. (see Fig. 3) 4. Put the battery cover back on & tighten the screw securely. 5. Switch the power to the "ON" position. Vehicle 1. Switch the power to the "OFF" position. 2. Unlock and remove the battery compartment cover located on the rear of the vehicle. (see Fig. 4) 3. Insert a fully charged 6V NiCd battery pack with the positive (+) and negative (-) ends facing in the proper direction as indicated inside the battery compartment. (see Fig. 4) 4. Put the battery cover back on & lock securely. 5. Switch the power to "ON" position. X 1 6 R L V 6 9 6V Fig. 3 Fig. 4 STEP 3: USING YOUR WEB STRETCHIN' DRAGSTER 1 Switch the Remote Control Handset to the "ON" position and the power indicator will light up. (see Fig. 5). 2. Switch the vehicle to the "ON" position. 3. Press the left and right buttons, on the forward end of the handset, to stretch and retract the vehicle. (see Fig. 5). 4. Use the Left & Right control sticks to make the vehicle run FORWARD, BACKWARD, LEFT, RIGHT and SPIN. (see Fig. 6 and 7) 5. Upon pressing and holding down the "STRETCH BODY" button, the handset will make mechanical gear noises. 6. Control the vehicle to run BACKWARD and then fast FORWARD to pop wheelies. (see Fig.8). After approximately 20 minutes, the performance ability of your toy will decreas e. It is time to charge your Battery Pack. To do so, simply follow these quick and easy steps:
1. Remove the Battery Pack from your Dragster, manually, by unlocking the lever on the battery compartment and removing the battery door to expose the Battery Pack. If the battery is warm, please allow up to twenty minutes for it to cool before recharging. 2. Follow the recharging instructions included with your Battery Pack and Charg er. OPERATION TIPS AND HELPFUL HINTS
- Do not operate during thunderstorms.
- When your vehicle starts to lose power, it may experience loss of functions or performance ability. If this happens, simply recharge your Battery Pack again and/or replace the Handset battery.
- The toy is operated by radio waves. It is possible the unit may not perform prop erly due to interference from nearby devices such as a cordless phone, hair dryer, radio, walkie-talkie or other radio-controlled toys.
- Avoid water, sand and snow when operating your toy. In addition, do not submerge the toy in water.
- Always select a safe place to play. Never drive your vehicle on populated streets or wet areas.
- Keep fingers, hair and loose clothing away from the tires, wheel hubs and motors while the vehicle is switched on. If the vehicle goes out of range of the Handset or the battery is low, the vehic le will stop running.
- Clean the toy with a dry, clean cloth after playing.
- Do not get your rechargeable battery wet. If you do, dry it immediately. TROUBLE SHOOTING 1. If your toy responds slowly or fails to operate:
- Make sure the batteries in both the Handset and Dragster are installed properly.
- Recharge your Battery Pack and/or replace the Handset battery.
- Make sure both the toy and the handset are turned ON.

- Move the remote control handset closer to your toy to determine the best communication between the remote handset and the vehicle. 2. Upon continuous playing, the vehicle may shut down automatically due to overheating. Please allow the vehicle to cool down for at least 10 minutes before restarting. SAFETY BATTERY PRECAUTIONS
- Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
- Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged.
- Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
- Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed.
- Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
- Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
- Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.
- The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
- Do not dispose of the batteries in fire; batteries may leak or explode.
- Batteries should be replaced by an adult.
- Use alkaline batteries for better performance.
- When not in use for an extended time, remove batteries to prevent possible leakage. 3 2
