Gravity Sensor (2) Once the gravity sensor is flashing, place it next to your smart keg. When your gravity sensor is finished pairing this window will close automatically. Prepare Fermentation Wash Hands Thoroughly wash your hands with soap. Sanitize Items (1) Make sure the closed yeast bag, gravity sensor and scissor are on a clean plate Sanitize Items (2) Spray a generous amount of disinfectant onto the closed yeast bag, gravity sensor and scissor. Open Smart Keg First, spray a generous amount of disinfectant onto the Smart Keg lid. Then unlock keg lid and hold open. Ensure that it does not come into contact with anything. Open Yeast Open yeast bag with scissors.
(In the following steps, it is important to minimize the amount of time that the keg lid stays open to prevent infection). Pitch Yeast Pour the contents of the yeast bag into the Smart Keg Placing Gravity Sensor Place the paired gravity sensor inside the keg. Close Smart Keg Immediately close Smart Keg lid.
