CONFIGURATION CONTROLS & FUNCTIONS CHANNEL INDICATORS An array of 4 LEDs indicates the frequency channel being set for operation CHANNEL SELECTING KEY Switching to set a transmitting frequency channel (on the back side) PLAY-PAUSE KEY w/LED 1. Insert a music-loaded pen-drive to USB interface, or connect to your audio equipment like CD/MD/MP3 player via Aux terminal. OPERATION 1. Select a transmitting channel. 2. Tune car-stereo FM band to receive the music from MD-4. 3. Repeat the procedure above until the best-reception frequency is found. 4. Adjust volume level of car stereo to your comfort. USEFUL CLUES
Pen Drive incompatible If PLAY KEY LED keeps lit on without blinking after Pen Drive is inserted, it could be the pen drive is not a compatible type. Please change your Pen Drive to a suitable one.
DISPLAY KEY LED blinks with no music from car speaker. This could be the data stored in your Pen-drive is not a MP3/WMA music format. Please check and make sure the Pen -drive is downloaded with MP3/WMA music format. CAUTION Since your Car-MP3 is a delicate device using digital technology like computers, it is recommended that following cautions are well observed to assure its proper operation:
1. Plug the device only after your car engine started to avoid possible high-current damage. 2. Plug and unplug USB pen drive gently, as rapid actions may cause the device to hang up. Switch "RESET" key to return its normal operation in case the device hangs up. 3. Connect one source only to the device, pen-drive or audio equipment, although there are two input sockets in the device. Input two sources simultaneously may cause the device to mal-function .
