Mirion Technologies intends to use the radio module in portable applications. The host devices which this radio will be limited to operation as a portable device include the following Mirion products:

DMC-2000 iPAM Transmitter Module, Part # WR2-A015 DMC-3000 Transmitter Module, Part # WR3-9000 DMC-3000 Neutron Transmitter Module, Part #s NOM003430 or NOM004600 DMC-3000 Location Transmitter Module, Part #s NOM005608 or NOM005632 DMC-3000 enhanced Transmitter Module, Part #s NOM005044 or NOM005400 The output power of the radio will be the same. The antenna used will be limited to the Integrated Wire wave monopole, 3.25 (8.26 cm) length, 1.9 dBi Gain antenna. An updated RF Exposure report exhibit has been provide show that radio meets the exclusion requirements for portable operation. No hardware changes have been made to the original product nor were there any additional changes to the transmitter circuitry of the radio therefore all other original test results continue to be representative of the equipment. The device remains the same equipment class and there are no other changes to the device that indicate a need for a new FCC ID as originally certified and approved. The test report shows that the product continues the meet the applicable subpart of CFR 47, Part 15 Subpart C. See the test report and additional submittal exhibits for details.
