Make sure that your MobiFren GBH-S200 is fully charged before you use it. Charge with Mini-USB, supplied together with GBH-S200. Charge with GBS-1000 for Combo in the car. (Hands free Carkit)
(Its possible to buy GBS-1000 for combo separately) The LEDshows RED during charging and will turn BLUE when fully charged. Pairing your MobiFren with mobile phone :
Before you use your Mobifren GBH-S200, you need to pair it with your mobile phone. Make sure that your MobiFren is turned off before you start. Press and hold the Multifunction Button(MFB) for about 8 seconds until the blue light on. Then, LED is continuously displayed. Then Mobifren is ready to be paired with mobile phone. ( On first purchasing, if you turn on the power, the headset is ready to be paring mode automatically.) Turn Bluetooth on your mobile phone and search for Bluetooth devices according to its User Manual instructions. This usually involves going to setup menu, connect or Bluetooth menu on your phone and select to find or add a new Bluetooth device. ( Please refer to your Mobile manual ) Select the stereo headset (it will appear as MobiFren GBH-S200) from the searched devices. Enter passkey(PIN) 0000 to pair the Headset with your mobile phone. Some mobile phones may have another procedure to connect with the Headset after pairing. When you enter pin code, blue light of the headset glitters 5 times and, the mobile phone shows that the headset is paired with mobile phone. Your MobiFren is now ready to use. (Blue light glitters every 3 second.) Turning your Headset on and off :
To turn on your Headset, press and hold the MFB until Blue blinks on LED On first purchasing, the Headset enters pairing mode automatically when the power is on. To turn off your Headset, press and hold the MFB until Blue and Red blinks on LED. Using your MobiFren Headset :
The below function may not available, depend on mobile phone models or mobile manufacturers. 1. Call Lock
- To prevent unintentional call, if you locate MFB button to Lock position, the key turns to lock status. headset becomes Call Lock status. 2. Answering a call
- When receiving a call, you can answer the call by changing from Lock to Unlock position. (Smart Connection)
- If the Headset is already Unlock position, press the MFB on your headset to answer call. 3. Ending a call
- Press the MFB shortly to end a call
- Or change the headset to Lock position : this will automatically end your call after 5 seconds 4. Making a call
- If you call by your mobile, the headset will be connected to mobile automatically, depend on mobile setup status.
- If your mobile does not support the above function, then, give a short press on MFB button after you dial the number. 5. Rejecting a call
- To reject an incoming call, give MFB button long press till the headset beeps.
- Depending on your phone settings, the person who calls you may be forwarded toyour voice-mail service or sent a busy signal. 6. Voice Dialing
- Give the MFB button long press if your mobile supports voice dialing. For best results, record the voice-dialing tag through your Headset. Please review your phones user manual for more information about using this feature. 7. Redialing last number
- Press the MFB button shortly, then, the last number will be shown in your mobile. Press MFB button one more time. It connects to call.
(This features may be different depend on mobile models. ) 8. Volume Control
- With + / - button,you can control the volume of call (receiving call)and music. 9. Shut off transmitting sound
- While talking, if you press (+) or (-) button for more than 1 second, the transmitting sound will be shut off.
- While transmitting sound is shut off, it will be released if you press (+) or (-) button for more than 1 second. 10. Waiting a call and put a call on hold
- This feature allows you to put a call on hold during conversation and answer a waiting call.
- Give the MFB button long press till the headset beeps, to put an active call on hold and answer a waiting call.
- Give the MFB button long press to switch between two calls.
- Just press MFB button shortly to end a call. 11. Ultra power save mode (Ultra power save mode is on at Lock position ) The maximum standby time is 60 days.
- Setting : Move MFB button at Lock position.
- Releasing : Move MFB button at Unlock position.. 12. Caution In Ultra power save mode i. In Lock position, Headset is disconnected from mobile phone after 10 seconds ii. When it changed to Unlock position, headset is connected to mobile phone automatically iii. Reconnection time depends on the mobile phone To prevent malfunction, MFB becomes Key Lockstatus for 5 seconds, after changed to Unlock position. The above can be different from phone models. Some models need to change their configuration (for example, trusted device setting) to use Ultra power save mode. Refer to your mobile phone user manual for further information. 13. Call-Adjustment for transmitting sound level
- On purchasing, the transmitting sound level is set in the middle from the 5 levels.
- Can be adjusted by users mobile phone. Dont adjust too high or too low level, not to cause poor sound quality.
- How to adjust At Unlock position, if you press (+) button forabout 8 seconds, it increases one step higher. At Unlock position, , if you press(-) button for about 8 seconds, it decreases one step lower.

- Basically, play MP3 player music are based on button control of mobile phone or portable device.

- After power off GBH-S200, then, press MFB button for 8 seconds again, pair and connect with another device like as portable audio device.
(ex, A2DP/AVRCP in MP3 player)
- After setting, Call connects to mobile phone and music connects with audio device. So, while listening music with MP3, if there is an incoming call, MP3 stops temporarily, it connect to phone call automatically.

- Press Vol (+) Vol (-) Vol(+) Vol(-) shortly in order, then, press MFB button till LED shows purple. 17. Connecting to Paired devices
- When you power on the headset, it connects to the device automatically which was connected to the latest device.
- Easy connection : Though it is already paired, but is not connected, just press MFB button to connect HSP/HFP. 5. Troubleshooting & FAQ I hear crackling noises For the best audio quality, always wear your headset on the same side as your mobile phone. I cannot hear anything Control the volume on the headset. Make sure that the headset is paired with phone, or other device Make sure that the headset is connected to the phone, or other device. If the headset fails to connect, please follow the paring procedure, page7 I have problems with pairing even though my phone indicates otherwise. You may have deleted your headset pairing connection on your mobile phone. Follow the pairing instructions in phones user manual. Will the MobiFren GBH-S200 work with other Bluetooth equipment?
The MobiFren GBH-S200 is designed to work with Bluetooth mobile, computer or portable audio devices which are built in. It can also work with other Bluetooth devices that are compliant with Bluetooth version 1.1/ 1.2/ 2.0+EDR/2.1+EDR and that support HSP, HFP, A2DP and AVRCP. 6. Handle MobiFren with care Always store the MobiFren GBH-S200 with the power off and protect safely when its not in use. Avoid storage at extreme temperature (above 60/140 - including direct sunlight-or below -20/-4).This can affect the MobiFrens battery life and may be the cause of malfunction. High temperature may also degrade performance. Do not expose the MobiFren GBH-S200 to rain or other liquids. Prevent children or pets to bite or suck this headset.
