1. About your MobiFren GBH-M300

Getting started with your MobiFren MobiFren GBH-M300 is very easy to use.
- Charging your MobiFren :
Make sure that your MobiFren GBH-M300 is fully charged before you use it. Charge with Mini-USB charger, supplied together with GBH-M300 or, AC/DC adapter.
* The LED shows RED during charging and will turn BLUE when fully charged. While using USB hub, charging may not be good due to low current.
- Pairing your MobiFren with mobile phone :
Before you use your MobiFren GBH-M300, you need to pair it with your mobile phone. 1. Set pairing mode in GBH-M300
<Pairing on first purchasing>
Move MFB button to Unlock position. (Power on) On first purchasing, if you turn on the power, the headset is ready to be Pairing mode automatically. The LED is continuously on.
* If you do not pair to mobile phone within 3 minutes, the headset will be out of pairing mode.
<Pairing to other device & pair again>
Press and hold MFB button for about 4 seconds, after changing from Lock to Unlock position at power-on. When the LED is continuously on after glittering for a short while, the headset is ready to be Pairing mode.
* If you do not pair to mobile phone within 3 minutes, the headset will be out of pairing mode.
2. Now, please prepare Pairing mode in your mobile phone.
(Please refer to Fig 3.) Turn Bluetooth on your mobile phone and search for Bluetooth devices according to its User Manual instructions. This usually involves going to setup menu, connect or Bluetooth menu on your phone and select to find or add a new Bluetooth device. ( Please refer to your Mobile manual ) Select the Handsfree ( it will appear as MobiFren GBH-M300 ) from the searched devices. Enter passkey( PIN ) 0000 to pair the headset with your mobile phone.
* Some mobile phones do not need to enter pin code. When you enter pin code, blue light of the headset glitters 5times, and, the mobile phone shows that the headset is paired with mobile phone. Your MobiFren is now ready to use. ( Blue light glitters every 3 second. )
* Depending on mobile phone, the pairing procedure may be different.

- Turning your headset on and off :
Turn on the headset : Move MFB button up, then, the power is on and Blue blinks on LED.
( On first purchasing, the headset enters pairing mode automatically when the power is on at Unlock position.) Turn off the headset : Move MFB button down, then, the power is off and Purple blinks on LED.
* During call, if you slide down MFB button, the call connection for headset is terminated and converts to the mobile phone.
- Using your MobiFren headset :
The below function may not be available, depending on mobile phone models or mobile manufacturers. 1. Call Lock
- To prevent unintentional call, if you locate MFB button to Lock position, the button turns to lock status.
* If you store the headset in your pocket after finishing a call, please locate MFB button at Lock position, to prevent unintentional press. 2. Smart Connection When theres incoming call, just move the MFB button to Unlock position. Then, it connects to call.
* If there is Connection Request from mobile phone during Smart Connection, please refer to Trust Device set up in your mobiles user manual. 3. Ultra power save mode ( Ultra power save mode is on at Lock position )
- The maximum standby time is 6 months. Setting : Move MFB button at Lock position. Releasing : Move MFB button at Unlock position.
- If you do not use GBH-M300 for a long time, its good for MFB button to be located at Lock position.
* Caution At Lock position, the headset is disconnected from mobile phone. If you change to Unlock position, it connects to mobile phone automatically. Reconnection time depends on mobile phone. 4. Setting Multi Point
* It's possible to pair up to 8 Bluetooth enabled devices, and can use up to 2 devices each or simultaneously. To connect other Bluetooth devices, please pair it, after disconnecting the device which was connected previously.
* Multi Point can make you to connect 2 devices at the same time. For instance, GBH-M300 can be connected to 2 mobile phones or connected to mobile phone and other Bluetooth devices like as a mobile phone or laptop computer (or VoIP dongle etc ). Multi Point pairing Press and hold MFB button for about 4 seconds, after changing from Lock to Unlock position at power-on, until the blue light is on continuously, then, pair with Bluetooth devices. ( ex. HSP or HFP profile ) Please refer to set up Pairing mode, Page4, 6, 7. How to set up Multi Point
- On first purchasing, you need to set up Multi point to use it.
- Setting : Give MFB and Volume ( + ) button long press simultaneously
- Releasing : Give MFB and Volume ( - ) button long press simultaneously
How to use Multi Point a. After you pair and connect to 2 mobile phones and set up Multi Point
(press MFB and Volume up button simultaneously), then turn off the headset. And, if you turn on the headset, it connects to 2 mobile phones automatically. b. When the headset is connected 2 mobiles, if you press MFB, you can make a call in mobile that previously used. 5. Answering a call
- When receiving a call, you can answer the call by sliding up from Lock to Unlock position.
- If the headset is already Unlock position, press the MFB on your headset to answer call. 6. Ending a call
- Press the MFB shortly to end a call
* During call, if you slide down MFB button, the call connection for headset is terminated and converts to the mobile phone. 7. Making a call
- If you call by your mobile, the headset will be connected to mobile automatically, depending on mobile setup status.
- If your mobile does not support the above function, then, give a short press on MFB button after you dial the number. 8. Rejecting a call
- To reject an incoming call, give MFB button long press till the headset beeps.
- Depending on your phone settings, the person who calls you may be forwarded to your voice-mail service or sent a busy signal. 9. Voice Dialing
- Give the MFB button long press till the headset beeps if your mobile supports voice dialing. For best results, record the voice-dialing tag through your headset. Please refer to your mobiles user manual for more information about using this feature. 10. Redialing last number
- Press the MFB button shortly, then, the last number will be shown in your mobile.
- Press MFB button one more time. It connects to call.
( This feature may be different, depending on mobile models. ) 11. Volume Control
- With + / - button, you can control the volume of receiving call. 12. Shut off transmitting sound
- While talking, if you press (+) or (-) button for more than 1 second, the transmitting sound will be shut off.
- While transmitting sound is shut off, it will be released if you press (+) or
(-) button for more than 1 second. 13. Waiting a call and put a call on hold
- This feature allows you to put a call on hold during conversation and answer a waiting call.
- Give the MFB button long press till the headset beeps, to put an active call on hold and answer a waiting call.
- Give the MFB button long press till the headset beeps, to switch between two calls.
- Just press MFB button shortly to end a call. 5. What does LED color mean?

6. Troubleshooting & FAQ
* I hear crackling noises For the best audio quality, always wear your headset on the same side as your mobile phone.
* I cannot hear anything Increase the volume on the headset. Ensure that the headset is paired with the phone. Make sure that the phone is connected to the headset. If the headset fails to connect either when you pressed MFB or through your mobile phones Bluetooth menu, follow the pairing procedure.
* I have problems with pairing even though my phone indicates otherwise. Please delete the headset paired in your mobile and pair the headset again. Please refer to set up Pairing mode, Page 4, 6, 7.
* Will the MobiFren GBH-M300 work with other Bluetooth equipment?
The MobiFren GBH-M300 is designed to work with Bluetooth mobile phones. It can also work with other Bluetooth devices that are compliant with Bluetooth version 1.1/ 1.2/ 2.0/2.1+EDR and that support HSP and HFP. 7. Handle MobiFren with care Always store the MobiFren GBH-M300 with the power off and protect safely when its not in use. Avoid storage at extreme temperature. ( above 60 / 140 F - including direct sunlight -or below -20 / -4 F ) This can affect the MobiFrens battery life and may be the cause of malfunction. High temperature may also degrade performance. Do not expose the MobiFren GBH-M300 to rain or other liquids. Prevent children or pets to bite or suck this headset. Please do not disassemble at users option. Please make sure to use certified charger. ( Rated Voltage : 5V )
8. Glossary 1) Bluetooth is a radio technology that connects devices, such as mobile phones and headsets, without wires or cords over a short distance
( approximately 30 feet ) Get more information at www.bluetooth.com 2) Bluetooth profiles are the different ways in which Bluetooth devices communicate with HSP : Headset Profile HFP : Handsfree Profile 3) Pairing of devices create a unique and encrypted link between two Bluetooth devices and let them communicate with each other. Bluetooth devices will not work if the devices are not paired. 4) Passkey or PIN is a code in numbers, which you have to enter on your mobile phone to pair it with your MobiFren GBH-M300. This makes your phone and the MobiFren GBH-M300 to recognize each other and automatically work together. 5) Standby Mode is when the MobiFren GBH-M300 is passively waiting for a call. When you end a call on your mobile phone, the headset goes into standby mode.
9. Warranty The conditions and our responsibilities under this warranty are as follows :
The warranty is limited to the original purchaser. A copy of your receipt or other proof of purchase is required. The warranty is void if the serial number, date code label or product label is removed, or if the product has been subject to physical abuse, improper installation, modification, or repair by unauthorized third parties. The responsibility of MobiFren products shall be limited to the repair or replacement of the product at its sole discretion. Any implied warranty on MobiFren products is limited to one year from the date of purchase on all parts, including any cord and connector. Specifically exempt from any warranty are limited-life consumable components subject to normal wear and tear, such as microphone windscreens, ear cushions, decorative finishes, batteries, and other accessories. MobiFren is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of any MobiFren product. This warranty gives you specific rights and you may have other rights which vary from area to area. Unless otherwise instructed in the User Manual, the user may not, under any circumstances, attempt to perform service, adjustments or repairs on this unit, whether in or out of warranty. It must be returned to the purchase point, factory or authorized service agency for all such work. MobiFren will not take any responsibility for any loss or damage incurred in shipping.
