your Diorphone. Failure to comply with the guidelines may cause malfunctions or be hazardous to the user. Road safety comes first Please be careful not to use the Diorphone while driving. In case you need to use the Diorphone, please pull over your vehicle first. In some countries, it is illegal to use a wireless phone while driving. Also, it is recommended to avoid using a mobile phone while refueling at a gas station. Switch off in aircraft Mobile phones may cause interference to the aircrafts navigation system. Please make sure the Diorphone is in switch off mode while in the airplanes. Respect special regulations Please follow special regulations in any areas wherever it is applicable. It is recommended to switch off your Diorphone whenever it is illegal to use, or when it may cause interferences, such as hospitals. Interference All mobile phones may be subject to radio interference, which may affect the performance during calling and receiving. Qualified Service It is highly recommended to have a repair service by qualified service personnel. Use only approved accessories and batteries. Use Properly Use only in the normal position (hold to the ear). Avoid unnecessary contact with the antenna when the phone is switched on. Emergency Calls When making an emergency call, please ensure that the Diorphone is switched on and is in service. Enter the emergency number (Official Emergency Number or another official emergency number) and press the [Send] key. Inform your current location. Do not end the call until given permission to do so. You may end the call by pressing the [End] key. 5 Operating Environment o Remember to follow any special regulations in force, in any area and always switch off your Diorphone whenever it is forbidden to use it, or when it may cause interference or danger (in a hospital for example). o Operation of any radio-transmitting equipment, including cellular phones, may interfere with inadequately protected medical devices. Consult a doctor or the manufacturer of the medical device if you have any questions. Other electronic equipment may also be subject to interference. o As with other mobile radio-transmitting equipment, you are advised that for satisfactory operations and personal safety, the equipment should only be used in the normal operating position. o Always switch off the Diorphone when refueling (service station). You are reminded of the need to observe restrictions on the use of radio equipment in fuel depots (fuel storage and distribution areas), chemical plants or where blasting operations are in progress. o Do not store or carry flammable liquids, gases or explosive materials in the same compartment as the Diorphone, its parts or accessories. o Switch off your Diorphone when in aircraft. The use of cellular phones in aircraft is illegal and may be dangerous to the operation of the aircraft or disrupt the cellular network. Failure to observe these instructions may lead to the suspension or denial of cellular telephone services to the offender, legal action or both. Care and Maintenance o Your Diorphone is a product of superior design and craftsmanship and should be treated with care. The suggestions below will help you fulfill the warranty obligations and enjoy this product for many years. o Keep the Diorphone and all its parts and accessories out of the reach of small children. o Keep the Diorphone in a dry environment. Precipitation, humidity and liquids containing minerals will corrode the electronic circuits. Do not use or store the Diorphone in dusty, dirty areas as its components may be damaged. o Do not store the Diorphone in hot areas. High temperatures can shorten the life of electronic devices, damage batteries and warp or melt certain plastics. o Do not store the Diorphone in cold areas. When the phone warms up to its normal temperature, moisture can form inside the phone, which may damage the electronic circuits. o Do not attempt to open the Diorphones casing. Non-expert handling of the phone may cause damages to your phone. o Do not drop or knock the Diorphone. Rough handling may damage the internal circuits. o Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong detergents to clean the Diorphone. Wipe out with a soft cloth slightly dampened in mild, soapy water. o If the Diorphone or any of its accessories are not working properly, take them to your nearest qualified service center. By listening to your device with headphones or earbuds at high volumes, you run the risk of permanent damage to your ears. Even if you get used to listening at high volumes and it seems normal to you, you still risk the possibility of damaging your hearing. Reduce the volume of your device to a reasonable level to avoid permanent hearing damage. If you hear ringing in your ears, reduce the volume or shut off the audio player. (Rule Part 15.105) 9 Precautions when using batteries Using Batteries o Never use any charger or battery that is damaged in any way. o Use the battery only for intended purpose. o No indication of charging: When you start charging a battery that is empty or a battery that has not been used for a long time, it may take up to 20 minutes before the battery icon appears in the display. o If you use the Diorphone near the networks base station, it uses less power; talk and standby times are greatly affected by the signal strength on the cellular network and the parameters set by the network operator. o Battery charging time depends on the remaining battery charge and the type of battery and charger used. The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times, but it will gradually wear out. When the operation time (talk time and standby time) is noticeably shorter than normal, it is time to buy a new battery. o If left unused, a fully charged battery will discharge itself over time. When charging after complete discharge, the Diorphone will not display anything for about 30 minutes. o Use only approved chargers. When a charger is not in use, disconnect it from the power source. Do not leave the battery connected to a charger for more than a week, since overcharging may shorten the battery life. o Extreme temperatures will affect the charging capacity of your battery: it may require cooling or warming first. o Do not leave the battery in hot or cold places, such as in a car in summer or winter conditions, as it will reduce the capacity and lifetime of the battery. Always try to keep the battery at room temperature. A phone with a hot or cold battery may not work temporarily, even when the battery is fully charged. Li-ion batteries are particularly affected by temperatures below 0C

(32F). o Do not short-circuit the battery. Accidental short-circuiting can occur when a metallic object

(coin, clip or pen) causes a direct connection between the + and terminals of the battery

(metal strips on the battery), for example, when you carry a spare battery in a pocket or bag. o Short-circuiting the terminals may damage the battery or the object causing the short-circuit. o Dispose the used batteries in accordance with local regulations. Always recycle. Do not dispose of batteries in a fire. o The only way to turn off the charger is to unplug it, so use an easily accessible AC power socket. o o In case of hot weather or after a prolonged exposure to the sun (e.g., behind a window or a windscreen), the temperature of your phone's casing might increase, especially when featuring a metallic finish. Be very careful in this case when picking up your phone and also avoid using it with an ambient temperature over 40C or below 5C. o Battery information:

o Do not incinerate. o Do not deform or open the battery. o Do not allow metal objects (such as keys in your pocket) to short circuit the battery contacts. o Avoid exposure to excessive heat (>60 C or 140 F), moisture or caustic environments. 10 o You should only use Dior batteries and chargers, as the use of any other accessories may damage your phone and may be dangerous. The use of an incorrect type of battery may also cause an explosion. 11 GET STARTED Your Diorphone SIM card information When you subscribe to a cellular network, you receive a plug-in SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card loaded with your subscription details, such as your PIN, and available optional services. Install and charge the phone 1. Remove the battery cover by pushing the battery button (A), then lift the battery cover (B). 12 2. Insert the SIM card. Make sure that the gold-colored contacts on the card are face down. 3. Install the battery. 4. Replace the battery cover. 5. Plug the travel adapter into the Diorphone. 6. Plug the adapter into a standard AC wall outlet. 7. When the Diorphone is completely charged (the battery icon becomes still), unplug the adapter from the power outlet. 8. Remove the adapter from the Diorphone. 13 Low battery indicator When the battery is low a warning tone sounds, the battery low message displays and the empty battery icon blinks. If the battery level becomes too low, the Diorphone automatically turns off. Recharge your battery. Note: When the battery is completely discharged, and not used for a while, the Diorphone will not display the charging icon for about 20 minutes while charging. After 30 minutes of charging, the Diorphone will display the charging icon Power On or Off 1. Hold down the [End] key for more than one second to switch on. 2. Enter your SIM card PIN code, if requested. The Diorphone searches for your network and when detected, displays the idle screen. The display shows the signal strength, battery strength and current time and date. 3. When you wish to switch off the Diorphone, hold down the [End] key for more than two seconds. Access Codes There are access codes for your SIM card. These codes help you to protect the Diorphone against unauthorized use. When requested for any of the code explained below, key-in the appropriate code

(displayed as asterisks) and press the [OK] key. 1. PIN: The Personal Identification Number or PIN (4-8digits) protects your SIM card against unauthorized use. The PIN comes with the SIM card; see the SIM card instruction provided with your card. If you enter an incorrect PIN three times in succession, the code will be disabled and cannot be used until you re-enable it by entering the PUK. 2. PUK: The 8-digit PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) is required to change a disabled PIN. The PUK may be supplied with the SIM card. If not, or in case you have lost it, please contact your service provider. Re-enabling your PIN 1. Key-in the PUK and press the [OK] key. 2. Enter a new PIN of your choice and press the [OK] key. 3. When the Confirm New PIN message is displayed, key-in the same code again and press the

[OK] key. If you enter an incorrect PUK ten times in succession, the SIM card becomes invalid. Please contact your service provider for a new card. Pin Password: The 4 ~ 8 digits of password is required when you use the Call barring function. You can obtain the password from your service provider when you subscribe to this function. 14 Keys and display 1. 2. 3. 4.

[Navigation] Key Scrolls through the menu options. Moves the cursor up and down in the normal editing mode. Moves the cursor to left and right in all editing mode.

[OK] Key In Idle Mode, accesses to Internet like services. In Menu Mode, selects the highlighted menu option or confirms input. In Camera and Video preview mode, works as a shutter.

[Send] Key Dials or answers a call. In the Idle Mode, recalls the last recently dialed numbers, missed, or received. 5. Power On/Off Key or [End] Key Ends a call. Switches the Diorphone on and off (press this key and hold). In Menu mode, cancels input and returns the Diorphone to the Idle mode.

[Alphanumeric] Keys Enter numbers, letters and special characters. 7. Special Function Keys Enter Special Characters and perform various functions according to context.

[Side] keys In Idle Mode, with the Diorphone open, adjust the Keypad Tone volume. Adjust the Audio Player volume. In Menu Mode, scroll through the menu options. 6. 8. 9. Input the country code, area code (without the leading zero), and the phone number. Then press the

[Send] key. The + informs the network that it is an international call. Enter the Pause or Wait tone You may enter a pause (P) character into a dial string by pressing the [*] three times. Press the [*] four times to enter a wait (W) character into a dial string. 15 Activate or deactivate the Silent mode To activate the Silent Mode option, press and hold [*] key in the idle mode. In Idle mode, top line of the screen displays a set of icons representing your Diorphone status. Depending on your country or service provider, the icons shown on the display may vary. Signal Strength: Greater the number of bars, stronger the signal strength. Diorphone icon bar GPRS: Appears when Diorphone is connected to GPRS (network dependant) Roaming: Appears when the Diorphone is roaming. Missed Calls: Appears when there is missed call(s). New Message: Appears when a new incoming text message is received and is unread. MMS Unread: Appears when a new MMS message is arrived and unread. MMS Busy: Appears when MMS is busy, while receiving and sending a message. Broadcast Message: Appears when Broadcast Message receive mode is active. WAP Mail: Appears when WAP mail is received. Call Barring On: Appears when the call barring mode is active. Call Forward: Appears when the call forward mode is active. Bluetooth: Appears when the Bluetooth power is on. Bluetooth Headset: Appears when the Bluetooth hands-free headset is connected. Bluetooth Connected: Appears when the Bluetooth device is connected. Vibrate and Ring: Appears when the Vibrate and Ring mode is active. Vibrate then Ring: Appears when the Vibrate then Ring mode is active. Vibrator On: Appears when the Vibration mode is active. Silent Mode: Appears when the silent mode (manner mode) is active. Alarm On: Appears when you set the alarm. Lock: Appears when you set the phone lock. Battery Strength: Shows battery level. The more bars you see, the more power is left. 16 Headset: appears when you set the Profiles as Headset. DIORPHONE MENUS AND FEATURES Diorphone Gallery Diorphone Gallery contents 1. Dior concierge 2. File manager To access this menu from home screen press menu and select Dior Gallery. Dior concierge This menu enable you to call you Dior concierge, you can also access Dior concierge through its number recorded in the phonebook. File Manager Use this menu to navigate into the files stored on both Diorphone memory and external memory card if present.. You can open files and perform several actions on the files as described below. You can also see the total memory used and free space in the storage. Checking the Memory You can view the remaining (free) memory and total memory. Opening the memory storage o Open: allows you to open the storage, and view folder(s) and file(s). o Create Folder: allows you to create a folder. o Format: allows you to format the selected memory. Note: Formatting memory definitely erases any content or file located in the storage. Opening a Folder o Open: allows you to open the folder and view a list of files in the folder. o Create Folder: allows you to create a folder. o Rename: allows you to edit the folder name. o Delete: allows you to delete the folder. o Sort: allows you to sort the files in the folder by name, type, time and size. Opening a File You can view, play and setup files in the storage or the folder. o View / Play: allows you to view or play the file. o Forward: allows you to forward the file to use as the following:

17 o Image File (bmp, jpg, and gif format) options are available to forward to Wallpaper, Phonebook, MMS, EMS and Bluetooth. o Sound File (mid, wav, mp3, AMR, AAC and iMelody format) options are available to forward to Tone Setup, MMS, EMS and Bluetooth. o Detail: displays information of the file, date and size. o Rename: allows you to edit the file name. o Copy: allows you to copy the file to the other folder or other storage. o Move: allows you to move the file to the selected folder or storage. The file will be removed from the original folder and copied to the selected folder. o Delete: allows you to delete the selected file. o Delete All Files: allows you to delete all files in the selected folder. o Sort: allows you to sort the files by name, by name, type, time and size. After selecting Copy or Move option, press the [Left] or [Right] navigation keys to access to the upper or lower folder. Once deleted, there is no way to get the file back. 18 Contacts Contact menu contents 1. Add new entry 2. Quick search 3. My vCard 4. Copy all 5. Delete 6. SOS number 7. Caller group Settings 8. Extra number 9. Caller picture 10. Caller ringtone You can store phone numbers on your SIM card and in your Diorphones memory. The SIM card and Diorphone memory are physically separated, but they are used as a single entity called Contacts. To access this menu, press [Menu] from home screen and select Contacts. Add New Entry Storing a number on the SIM card o Enter information about the contact: name, phone number or caller group. o Press [Save] to save the contact. Storing a number in the Diorphone memory o Enter information about the contact: name, phone number (mobile, home, office, fax), company name, e-mail, birthday, associate picture and video, associate sound and caller group. o Press [Save]

Quick Search Use this menu to search for a desired contact in your contact list. Finding an entry:

1. Enter the first few letters of the name you seek. 2. Select the name you want from the list. 3. Scroll to a number and press [Send] key to dial, or press [Option] to get more actions to perform with selected contact. I. Send SMS: allows you to send SMS to the selected entry II. View: allows you to view the entry content such as name, number and so on. III. Call: allows you to call the selected contact IV. Send MMS: allows you to send a SMS to the selected name, number. 19 V. Edit: allows you to edit the entry items. VI. Send vCard: allows you to send a contact by SMS. VII. Delete: allows you to delete the entry. VIII. Copy: allows you to copy the entry from SIM to Phone or Phone to SIM. You will have the same entry in a different storage. IX. Move: allows you to move the entry from SIM to Phone or Phone to SIM. The entry will be stored in the original storage. X. Duplicate: allows you to duplicate the entry in the same storage. You will have the same data in the same storage. My vCard A vCard is a multimedia business card, you can send to your contacts. You can edit, save and send My vCard. You can use My vCard as your mobile business card. o Edit My vCard: you can edit Name, Number, Home Number, Company Name, E-mail Address, Office Number, and Fax Number. o Send My vCard: You can send My vCard by SMS, MMS, Bluetooth and File Transfer. Copy All You can copy all phonebook data from SIM card to Phone or from Phone to SIM. It is a useful function if you want to back up your phonebook data from a SIM card to your Diorphone and vice versa. Delete You can delete all phonebook data in SIM card or Phone. In addition, you can delete the phonebook data one by one. SOS number It provides you the list of SOS numbers stored in the SIM. Caller group Use this menu to organize your contacts in caller groups. Adding members to a caller group such as friends, vip o Info: this is the name of the group. It can be changed by pressing [Modify], typing in new name and then pressing [Done]. o Alert Type: Ring / Vibration only /Vibration and Ring / Vibration then Ring / None o Ringtone: Allows you to select the ringtone to be used when you receive a call from a person in the group. Select your ringtone by pressing [Navigation] key. o Picture: Allows you to select the call picture displayed when you receive a call from a person in the group. Press [Navigation] key to change the picture and go to the next line to select. If you want to view and select images, select the [View] soft key (left) and scroll the

[Navigation] key. To select the picture, press the [OK] soft key (left). o Associate Video: same as picture with a video 20 o Member List: You can add or delete group member(s). Press [OK] and select [Add]. It will display a phonebook list excluding the members already in the group. It is possible to set a member in multiple groups. Press [Save]. Settings Memory Status You can check how many names and numbers are stored in your contact list (SIM card and Diorphone memories) or how much free space remains. Preferred Storage You can set your preferred storage either to SIM or to Phone as default storage when adding a new entry to your contact list. Fields There are fields that you can set on or off in your phonebook entry: Home Number, Company Name, E-mail Address, Office Number, Fax Number, Birthday, Associate Picture, Associate Video, Associate Sound and Caller Group. Press the [On] or [Off] soft key (left) to switch. Extra Number You can view and edit your mobile phone number (owner number), Service Dial number and SOS number. o Owner Number: Use this feature to check your phone numbers, or to assign a name to each of the numbers. o Service Dial Number: lists up the SIM SDN (Service Dial Number) and allows you to access to the number by pressing the [Dial] soft key (left) or the Send key. Service Dial Numbers are provided by your network operator and implemented in your SIM card. Caller picture You can set a picture for any contact. The selected picture will be displayed when calling the contact and when receiving a call from this contact. Select one image from the displayed list, select [OK] and link it to a New Entry, a Selected Entry or a Caller Group. Caller Ringtone You can set a ringtone for any contact. The selected ringtone will be played when receiving a call from the selected contact. Select a ringtone from the displayed list, select [OK] and link it to a New entry, a Selected Entry or a Caller Group. 21 Call History Call History menu contents 1. Missed calls 2. Dialed calls 3. Received calls 4. Delete calls log 5. Call time 6. Call cost 7. SMS counter 8. GPRS counter Use this menu to view the calls you have dialed, received, or missed, and the length of the calls. You can also check the cost of your calls, if the SIM card supports this function. Missed Calls This menu displays the most recent received calls that you did not answer. In the missed calls list, you can view the details of the record by pressing the [Ok] soft key (left). In the view screen, you can call the selected number by pressing the [Send] Key. The following options are available:

o Delete: Allows you to delete the record o Save to Phonebook: Allows you to save the record to your contact list. o Dial: Allows you to call back the recorded number o Edit: Allows you to edit the number and save to your contact list. Dialed Calls This menu displays the most recent calls you have dialed. In the dialed calls list, you can view the details of the record by pressing the [Ok] soft key (left). From there, you can call the selected number by pressing the [Send] key. Received Calls This menu displays the most recent calls you have received. In the list of received calls, you can view the details of the record by pressing the [Ok] soft key (left). From there, you can call the selected number by pressing the [Send] key. Delete Call Log This menu lets you delete all call data of each category at once. The following categories are available: missed calls, dialed calls, received calls. Call Time This menu displays the time log for incoming/outgoing calls. The actual time invoiced by your service provider may vary. 22 o Last call time: check your last call duration. o Total sent: check the total duration of all the calls you have dialed since the latest reset. o Total received: check the total duration of all the calls you have received since the latest reset. o Reset All Time: Allows you to reset the call timers. You need to enter the phone password. Call cost This menu allows you to evaluate the cost of your calls, based on their duration and a price per minute you can set yourself. Note: This feature only gives you an estimate of the cost but can not reflect the exact cost as defined by your operator or service provider (as operators use charging models much more complex than just a cost per minute). Only operator cost calculation is valid. This option is a network service and may not work on your SIM card. o Last call cost: gives you an evaluation of the last call cost o Total cost: gives you an evaluation of the total of call costs from last reset o Reset cost: Allows you to reset cost counters o Max cost: Allows you to determine a maximum amount o Price per unit: Allows you to set the rule linking call duration and call cost. SMS Counter You can view the numbers of sent and received SMS. GPRS Counter You can view how many GPRS data have been sent and received, and reset the counter. 23 Internet services menu contents 1. WAP 2. Data account 3. SIM Toolkit (Service+) 4. Broadcast Message Internet Services WAP This menu allows you to access to Internet like services from mobile. o Homepage: When you choose [Homepage] menu, WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) browser opens the main page of home site you have chosen among the sites in [Settings]

[Profile]. o Bookmarks: You can make bookmark data in your phone. And you can connect to the site directly. o Recent Pages: When you choose [Recent Pages] menu, WAP browser opens the latest WAP pages. o Enter Address: If you know the URL of the site, you can go to the site directly by entering with the text editor the desired URL. o Service Inbox: Your phone receives WAP service messages and saves them in the WAP Push. You can read the message in the Inbox. o Settings: This option allows you to set the WAP settings. There are several profiles of sites in your Diorphone. You can activate one of them as a home site and change or set each profile. o Edit Profile: Shows the name of selected site and you can edit the profile(s). o Browser Options: Time out, Show Image o WAP Push Setting: On/Off o Clear Cache: clears the most recent site files that you have downloaded in the temporary memory. o Clear Cookie: deletes cookies in the memory. o Clear Recent Page List: deletes recent page list in the memory. o Clear Address: deletes all addresses, which you entered in Enter Address menu. o Trusted Certificates: saves and lists the Trusted Certificates from the WAP sites. You can view and delete the certificates. Data Account This menu allows you to change the settings for the GSM and GPRS network services. For further details, contact your service provider. GSM This setting allows you to change the settings for the GSM network as following (information provided by network operator):

o Account Name: Edit the account name. 24 o Number: Enter the server phone number. o User Name: Enter the user name required to connect to GSM Data network. o Password: Enter the password required to connect to GSM Data network. o Line Type: Choose a network connection type between Analogue and ISDN. o Speed: Select the desired speed from 4.8, 9.6 Kbps and 14.4 Kbps. o DNS (000.000.000.000): Enter the IP address GPRS This setting allows you to change the settings for the GSM Data network (information provided by your network operator) as following:

o Account Name: Edit the account name. o APN: Enter the access point name used for the address of the GPRS network gateway. o User Name: Enter the User Name required to connect to GPRS network. o Password: Enter the password required to connect to GPRS network o Auth. Type: Select the authorization type from Normal and Secure. SIM Toolkit (Service+) If you use a SIM card that provides additional services, the SIM toolkit menu displays. For details, please refer to your SIM card instructions or contact your service provider. Broadcast message This menu allows you to select your preferences to receive information messages sent by your network service provider. Please contact your network service provider for further inquiry on this message service. 25 Messages menu content 1. SMS 2. MMS 3. Email 4. Voice Mail Server Messages Use the Messages menu to send and receive short messages and multimedia messages. You can also use voice-mail. To access this menu, press [Menu] from home screen and select [Messages]. Message functions are available depending on network services that your service provider supports. SMS The SMS (Short Message Service) function is a network service and your network may or may not support the service. Note:

The Message service may not be available on all networks. Some network allows it only within its own network. The maximum number of characters allowed in a short message varies by service provider. If your message exceeds the maximum number of characters, the phone will split the message in several SMS and you would be charged for the number of send SMS. Write Message Use this menu to create and send a message as follows:

1. Select [Write Message] menu in the [SMS] menu. 2. Write a message. 3. After you complete the message, press the [Option] soft key (left) and then select [Done]

Choose one of following options. o Send Only: Sends the message to the recipient phone number. It will not save the message. o Save and Send: Saves the message, and sends it to the required recipient. o Save Only: Saves the message so that you can send it later. o Send to Many: Sends the message to multiple recipients. Select [Edit List] to add up to 10 recipient(s). o Send by Group: Sends the message to the Caller Group. Select a Caller Group from the list. You can input the number directly or get from the phonebook by pressing the [Search] soft key (left). When sending a message the Diorphone will display Message sending Success or Fail message sending for each recipient. Note: If you receive a call while you are writing a message, the message will be backed-up and after the call finishes, the Diorphone will display write message mode. You can finish the message without losing the data. 26 Inbox This folder stores all of the messages you have received. You can view the new text messages or the read messages. It will display the senders phone number or name (if stored in the Contact list). If you press the [Ok]

soft key, you can view the message content. Sent Messages You can view the sent or unsent messages you have saved. Send, Edit, Delete, Delete All and Use Number options are available. Draft This folder stores messages you have saved to send at a later time. When you select a SMS, it opens in Edit mode so that you can edit and/or send the message. Template Use this menu to make and use templates of frequently used messages. You can create the templates with sentences you frequently use so that you can retrieve and insert them when composing a message. Message Settings Within the Message Settings sub-menu, you can define default values on common parameters for mobile-originated messages. o Profile Settings: Depending on your service provider and service plan, you can set the message profile settings. o Common Setting: You can set on or off the following common settings for SMS. o Delivery Report: When this function is set to on, the network informs you whether or not your message has been delivered. o Reply Path: This menu allows the recipient of your message to send you a reply via your message center, if the network provides message service. Press the [On] or [Off] soft key

(left) to switch. o Memory Status: This shows memory status of SMS in your SIM card or Diorphone. MMS Multimedia Message Service (MMS) delivers messages containing a combination of text, image, video, and audio, from phone to phone. Note:

The maximum size allowed for a message can differ, depending on your service provider. Depending on the file type or DRM (Digital Rights Management) system, some files may not be able to be forwarded. Write Message Use this menu to create and send a message as follows:

1. Select [Write Message] menu in the [MMS] menu. 2. Compose a message. You can edit To, Cc, Bcc, Subject, and Content. You can input the number directly or get from the phonebook by pressing the [Search] soft key. 3. After you complete the message, press the [Option] soft key (left) and then select Done. Choose one of following options:

27 o Send Only: Sends the message. o Save and Send: Saves the message, and sends it to required recipient(s). o Save to Drafts: Saves the message to Drafts. You may send it later. o Send Options: Validity Period, Delivery Report, Read Report, Priority o Exit: Exits the Write Message, the Diorphone will ask if you want to save the message. o The phone will display the Message sending Success or Fail message on the screen for all recipients. Inbox This folder stores all of the messages you have received. You can view the new text messages or the read messages. It will display the senders phone number or name (if stored in the Contact list) on the list. If you choose the [Ok] soft key, you can view the message content. Sent Messages You can view the sent or unsent messages you have saved. Send, Edit, Delete, Delete All and Use Number options are available. Draft This folder stores messages you have saved to send at a later time. When you select a MMS, it opens in Edit mode so that you can edit and/or send the message. Message Settings Within the MMS sub-menu, you can define default values on common parameters for mobile-

originated messages. By setting default values for MMS messages, you can experience a more comfortable service. You can set up the MMS related parameters for sending and retrieving the MMS messages. Contact your network operator to obtain MMS settings. Email The E-Mail application allows you to send and receive e-mails. The application supports text and attachments. The e-mail application could be either normal POP3 e-mail client or IMAP4 based e-mail service. When highlighting on Inbox, Sent, Unsent and Draft, the number of mails shall be displayed as a popup hint, e.g., 10 mails. Note: If current incoming protocol is set to IMAP4, and the Diorphone is not currently connected to the network, when before entering this screen, shall popup a confirmation screen for the user with message Do you want to connect to the network?. If the user selects Yes, then can send list folder request to network; otherwise, directly enter this screen, and all popup hint displays 0 mails. Send and Receive In order to exchange the email, the user has to provide appropriate settings (described in section Email Profile). 28 Write E-mail This menu allows you to write an email. o To contain the recipient list of the e-mail. o CC contain the carbon copy list of the e-mail. o Subject contain the subject of the mail. o Attachment displays attachment states of the email. At most 3 attachments can be added in an email. o Priority the priority of the email. You can use inline selection to change the priority. There are Low, Normal and High options. o Encoding Type the encoding type of email body, including ASCII, BIG5, GB, UTF8 o Content contains the content of the mail. The whole content shall be displayed in a multi-

line box. At most 7 lines can be displayed in this field. Inbox This folder stores the list of emails you have received. Unsent This folder displays the list of unsent e-mails. Sent This folder displays the list of sent mails. According to flash/ram size, the maximal number of emails to be displayed shall be dynamic. Drafts This folder displays the list of email Drafts you saved. Delete All Folder This folder helps you to delete all emails in selected folder. E-mail Profile This folder helps you to configure various servers and Profile related settings. All the configurable items are grouped into entities called Profiles. Voice Mail Your Diorphone is capable of dialing with voice-mail server number (if provided by your network). If you receive any voice-mail, your Diorphone displays New Message in the idle screen. Select the Voice Mail from the list and press [Option] soft key (left). You can Edit the Voice Mail server number. By selecting the Connect to Voice, your phone will dial to the configured number that has been stored in Voice Mail list. You can then listen to the voice-mail. Note: Voice mail is a network feature. Please contact your service provider for more information. 29 Music menu content 4. Music playback 5. Sound recorder Music Music playback You can listen to MP3, MIDI, WAV, AMR, AAC, iMelody music files with the Audio Player. To view the music list: Press [List] soft key. It will display available music list from the phone. o To play the music: From the music player screen, press [List] soft key and select the song you want then select Play. o To make a playlist from the selected directory:

1. Access the Audio Player. 2. Press the [List] soft key (left). 3. Press the [Option] soft key (left) and select [Settings], and set the [List Auto Generate] to [Off]. 4. Select [Add] from the [Option] menu, the Diorphone will display the File Manager. Using the navigation keys, highlight the desired directory or file in the File Manager 5. Press the [Option] soft key (left), and select. The music files in the selected directory will be added to the play list. Sound Recorder With this menu, you can record sound in AMR, WAV format and use it as voice memo, ring tone, MMS and EMS attachment. 30 Multimedia menu content 1. Camera 2. Image Album 3. Video recorder 4. Video Album Multimedia Camera You can use the camera module embedded in your Diorphone to take photos. Before taking a picture, you can set your camera settings on screen by pressing navigation keys, alphanumeric keys, and

[Option] soft key (left). You need to enter the preview mode (by sliding the camera shutter of your phone from home screen) to access these settings. Note:

Do not take photos of people without their permission. Do not take photos in a place where cameras are not allowed. Do not take photos in a place where you may interfere with another persons privacy. Taking and Saving a Photo 1. Press the Navigation key [Left] to access camera preview 2. Set your camera by using [Option] or alphanumeric keys. 3. After having set the view, take a picture by pressing the [OK] key 4. If you want to save the picture, select the [Save] soft key (left), edit the picture name and press the left soft key [Option] then select Done. 5. You can view the image in the Image Viewer. Image Album You can view your images by choosing [Image Album] menu in [Multimedia] menu. It will display the photos with thumbnail, image name, and image size. Video recorder You may record videos with the Video Recorder menu. Options:

o To Player: allows you to go to the Video Player. o Camcorder Settings: allows you to set various types of camcorder settings as White balance, EV, Scene mode and Banding. o Video Settings: allows you to set various types of video settings as Video size, Video quality, File size limit, Record time limit, Record audio and Encode format. o Effect Settings: allows you to have various types of effects to your video. o Storage (Phone / Memory Card): allows you to select the storage for saving images. o Restore Default: allows you to restore to the video recorders default settings. 31 Video album You can view the recorded video with the Video Player. Press the side volume key to adjust the volume. 32 Tools menu content 1. Agenda 2. World clock 3. Alarm 4. Instruments 5. Java Tools Agenda The calendar helps you keep track of your monthly schedule. When you access the Calendar menu, the calendar in Month view appears with todays date indicated by a green bow line. World Clock This feature allows you to check the current time based on Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) for major cities around the world. From the world map, scroll to the city you want. As the time line moves, the current day and time of the given zone displays. The screen also shows the Day or Night icon. Alarm This menu allows you to set the alarm to ring at a specific time. You can save up to five alarms. To stop the alarm when it rings, press the [Stop] soft key (left) to stop the alarm or press the [Snooze]

soft key (right) to snooze the alarm so that it will remind you again in four minutes. Instruments This menu includes several useful applications. Currency Converter To convert currency:

Input a currency rate. 1. 2. Press the [Ok] soft key (left). 3. Select how you want the currency to be calculated ( xxx:1 or 1: xxx) 4. 5. Input the local currency value. Press the [Ok] soft key (left) to get the result. Chronometer This is a tool to measure timing; Split Stopwatch, Lap Stopwatch. Countdown This tool enables you to set a timer countdown. Input a timing by typing on the numeric keypad, press

[OK] when set and [START] to begin. The Diorphone will ring at the end of the countdown. 33 Calculator Use this menu to perform basic arithmetic functions and memory functions; Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division; Add to Memory, Subtract to Memory, Memory Clear and Memory Read. Unit Converter You can convert from one type of unit to another. To convert a value:

1. Select the weight or length options. 2. Select the type of conversion to be performed. Input the value to be converted, and then press [Ok] to get the result. 3. 4. You can enter a decimal dot (.) using the [#] key. Java Java applications This is the repository where java applications can be installed Java Settings You can setup audio, network profile, and free data space. o Java Audio: allows you to set the Java audio sound to on or off. o Java Vibration: allows you to set the vibration to on or off. o Java Network: you can select the java network from the list. o Free Data Space: you can view the free data space. o Heap Size: you can view the remaining heap size, this is free memory space to run the game or application. 34 Settings menu content 1. User profiles 2. Bluetooth 3. Diorphone setup 4. Network setup 5. Call setup 6. Security setup 7. Restore factory settings Settings User Profiles Use this menu to customize various sounds. Select one profile and select Activate to activate the setting. Select Customize to customize the Profile settings. Customizable options are the following:

o Tone Setup: Incoming Call, alarm, Power On, Message Tone and Keypad Tone o Volume: Ring Tone, Keypad Tone. o Alert Type: Ring, Vibration Only, Vibration And Ring, Vibration then ring. o Ring Type: Single/ Repeat/ Ascending. o Extra Tone: Warning/ Error/ Camp On/ Connect. o Answer Mode: lets you select which answer mode you want to enable Bluetooth To connect your Diorphone to other Bluetooth devices, set this option to ON. Bluetooth icon will appear on the home screen. The Diorphone Bluetooth power will be turned on, until you turn the Bluetooth Mode off. When you turn off your Diorphone, and turn on the next time, the Bluetooth power will be On. If the Bluetooth device was connected, the Diorphone connects to the device when the Diorphone power is back on. Note: When you are not using the Bluetooth feature, set the Bluetooth Mode to Off, in order to save the battery power. Inquiry Audio Device This option will search for Audio device(s) within the range of your Diorphone (approx. 10 meters). 1. Put the device nearest possible when you search a new device. 2. Check to turn on your Diorphone and the new device. For turning on your new device, see instruction provided by the device manufacturer. Make sure your Diorphone is in Bluetooth Mode. 3. Select Search Audio Device to find the new device. 4. After your Diorphone finds the device, press [Pair] soft key (left), it might ask for a pass code. Default pass code is depending on the Bluetooth device. You might try 0000 as a pass code. Usually the Bluetooth audio device provides a guide with this pass code. The Diorphone and device will be paired and connected. If you fail this pair procedure, try again or contact the device manufacturer, or change to other device. 35 My Device This will display Paired Device(s), which have been connected and registered with your Diorphone. You can conveniently connect to the most frequently used Bluetooth device by using this menu. o Connect: you can connect to the listed Bluetooth devices. o Rename: you can edit the device name. o Delete: you can delete the saved device from the My Device list. o Search new device: you can also search for new devices. Settings o Visibility: You can set your Diorphone visible to other Bluetooth devices. If you set this On, other devices can search your Diorphone as a Bluetooth device. You can only change this option when the Bluetooth Mode is On. o My Phone Name: Your can give your Diorphone a name by using this option. When other Bluetooth device searches your Diorphone, this name will be displayed. o Authentication: Set Authentication On or Off. You can only change this option when the Bluetooth Mode is On. o Audio Path: you can choose to play sound from the Diorphone or to forward it to the Bluetooth headset o FTP Settings: Set shared folders of File manager when you send data by Bluetooth. About This menu will display your Bluetooths available profiles. Check your other Bluetooth device guides to know if they are compatible with your Diorphone. DIORPHONE SETUP Time and Date You can set time and date for your Diorphone. o Set Home City: This menu allows you to set a city as your home city. o Set Time/Date: This menu allows you to set the current time and date displayed in the idle screen. Also you can set the day light saving to On/Off. o Set Format: This menu allows you to set Time and Date Format. o Auto Update of Date and Time: This menu allows the Diorphone to update the current date and time automatically from the network, if supported by the network operator. You can turn on or off this function by pressing the [On] or [Off] soft key. Language Use this menu to select one of the proposed languages for the display text. Select your preferred language and press [Ok] soft key (left) to save the setting. Note: when set to automatic, your Diorphone automatically adapts the language to the country of your service provider as stated in the SIM card. If the Diorphone can not recognize your operator, then English is set as default. Display Settings This menu allows you to customize desired Diorphone display items: wallpaper, screen saver, power on/off, LCD backlight, show date and time, show owner number and show operator name. 36 Preferred Input Methods This menu allows you to define your preferred input method. Once you set the preferred input method, next time you edit in text input mode, it will use the setting until you change it to another in this menu. Speed Dial Use this menu to assign speed dial numbers (2 to 9) for 8 of your most frequently called numbers. Assigning speed dial entries:

o Enable speed dial On and go to Set Number o Select a key location from 2 to 9. (Key 1 is reserved for your voice-mail server.) o Press [Options] soft key, select [Edit] and select the entry from the phonebook list by pressing the [Add] soft key. Managing speed dial entries:

o Edit: to assign a different number to a key. o Delete: to clear the speed dial setting for a key. o Dialing speed dial numbers: On home screen, press and hold the appropriate key. Dedicated Key You can use the dedicated keys as shortcut keys to access specific menus directly from home screen. Select from the menu lists, and press [Ok] key to change the dedicated menu. Default Dedicated Keys:

o Up: SMS edition o Down: Bluetooth o Left : Camera o Right: Music player Shortcuts This menu allows you to set shortcuts menu lists. You can set your own menu shortcut and assign it to a dedicated key. Schedule power On/Off This option allows you to set up a power on and power off time for your Diorphone. Sound Equalizer This option enables you to set a type of sound effect for the sound tones (ring, warning) available options are: Normal, Bass, Treble. Network Setup Network Setup helps you in Network Selection, selection of Preferred Network, and GPRS connection. Network Selection The Network Selection feature enables you to select automatically or manually the network used when roaming outside of your home network. Note: You can select a network other than your home network only if it has a valid roaming agreement with your home network. Please contact your service provider for further inquiry 37 Options are as follows:

o Automatic: You will be connected to the first available network when roaming o Manual: The Diorphone scans for the available network, and you can select the network manually. Preferred Networks You can set your preferred networks from list. You can Add From List, Create New, Change Priority and Delete. Band setup This option lets you select which band should the Diorphone connect to. Call setup The following Call Setup features are network services. Please contact your network service provider to check availability. Caller ID This network service displays your caller ID to the recipient when you call out. You can set the following options for the Caller ID function:

o Set By Network: The network will decide whether to send or hide the Caller ID. o Hide ID: If you do not want to send your phone number, select this option. o Send ID: It will send your Caller ID when you call out. Call Waiting This network service informs when someone is trying to reach you during another call. You can specify the call waiting option for voice calls only. Call Divert This network service reroutes incoming calls to the number that you specify. Note: The Diorphone sends your settings to the network and the network will acknowledge the settings. You can deactivate all call diverting settings by selecting the Cancel All. Call Barring This network service allows you to restrict your call for outgoing and incoming calls. You can also cancel all call barring settings. You will be able to make and receive calls normally. You can set and change the call barring password obtained from your service provider using this option. You must enter the current password before you can specify a new one. Note: The Diorphone sends your settings acknowledgement. You can deactivate all call barring settings by selecting the Cancel All. the network and the network returns to the Line Switching This option lets you select the line you want to use (providing you have multiple lines on your SIM card and have primarily subscribed to a multiple line service) Call Time Reminder You can set the call time reminder. Options are Off, Single, and Periodic. 38 Call Time Display You can set the Diorphone to display the call duration. Auto Redial This option allows you to set an automatic redial when the call receiver is busy. If you set [Auto Redial] on, it will redial 5 times until successful call. Closed User group This option allows you to define a group of users permitted to communicate with each other but not with users outside the group (network dependant) Security Setup Use this menu to protect the Diorphone against unauthorized use by managing the several access codes of your Diorphone and SIM card. There are six types of security setting categories. You can optimize security mode by choosing submenus in Security Setup in Settings menu. These security settings will help you to keep privacy and to prevent other people from using the Diorphone without your permission. Note:

If you enter an incorrect PIN/PIN2 three times in a row, the SIM card is blocked. To unblock it, you need to enter your PUK/PUK2 (Personal Unblocking Key). The codes are supplied by your network operator. SIM Lock When the SIM Lock feature is on, the Diorphone only works when you enter the correct SIM card PIN code. You can set this option to OFF, the Diorphone will not ask for your pass code when you switch it on. Phone Lock When the Phone Lock feature is on, user must enter the pass code each time the Diorphone is switched on. Making a call or operating the Diorphone is not available without the pass code. Auto Keypad Lock To prevent unwanted accidental key presses, you can use the auto keypad lock function. You may not make a call or operate the Diorphone until you key in the unlock code. Fixed Dial When the Fixed Dial mode is enabled, the person using the Diorphone can only call the phone numbers stored in the Fixed Dial List. To call a number not stored in the fixed dialed list, you must enter PIN 2 code. If the SIM card does not have PIN2, this feature is not supported. Barred Dial When the Barred Dial mode is enabled, the person using the Diorphone cannot call numbers in the barred dial list. To call a barred number, you must enter the PIN2. If the SIM card does not have PIN2, this feature is not supported. Change Password To change the password, input the current password, and then enter the new password. 39 Note: The initial password is 0000. After you change your password, you will need to input the latest password. If you forgot your password, contact the service center. Flight Mode This option allows you to use some multimedia features of your device while its transmitting function remains switched off. This allows you, for instance, to use your device on an airplane as MP3 player whereas GSM remains switched off for your security. o Normal mode: flight mode is deactivated, when turning on your Diorphone, all the features are switched on o Flight mode: turns your device into flight mode o Query when power on: prompts you each time you switch on the Diorphone asking if you want to be in normal of flight mode. Restore Factory Settings This feature resets the Diorphone to the same settings as those configured at the factory. It does not delete the downloaded objects and phonebook records. You will need to input password to restore factory settings. The initial password is 0000. Entering text ABC, T9, Number, and Symbol modes You can enter text in some features such as Messages, Phonebook, or Calendar, using ABC mode, T9 mode, Number mode, and Symbol mode. You can enter text by pressing the alphanumeric keys on the Diorphone. Press the appropriate key until the character you want appears on the screen. While you are in text editing mode, you will be in several modes. When you see [Options] and [Clear] in the soft key, press the soft key (left) for option: you can save the entry or change the Text Input Method. To erase a character, press the soft key (right) next to the character you want to erase. There can be more than two options depending on what contents you are editing. T9 Text Editing Mode T9 Text Editing Mode is a predictive text input mode that allows you to key in any character using single keystrokes. While you are in T9 editing mode, press the alphanumeric key once for one character. You will see T9 suggested words. Default Input method You can define the default Input Method of your Diorphone and change input methods time to time. To define your preferred input method:

1. Go to Phone Setup sub menu in Settings menu. 2. Select Preferred Input Method. 40 Once you have set up the preferred input method, next time you edit in text input mode, the setting will be applied until you change to another. Changing input method time to time If you want to change the text input method temporarily, in the text input mode:

1. Press [Option] soft key 2. Select [Input Method] from the option. You can change the text input method with the [#] key; the input methods will swap when you press the [#]. Note:

Press and hold the [*] key to select Symbols. Press the [*] key to toggle select cases (abc or ABC). Press [1] to enter periods or apostrophes automatically. Press [0] to insert a space. 41 Your Dior Mini Dior Mini is an innovation in mobile phone technology. It enables you to answer a call, browse and call a contact without having to use you Diorphone. Therefore, you can leave your Diorphone in your handbag and hang the Dior Mini outside to always have it close to you. Your Dior Mini has been specifically created and designed to be used with your Diorphone, therefore, it can only be used with your Diorphone. To charge your Dior Mini follow these steps:

I. Plug the Dior Mini USB cable into the charger or in the multiplug dungle if you want to charge the phone at the same time. II. Plug the magnetic side of the Dior Mini USB cable into the Dior Mini magnetic Hook shown below. III. Plug the charger into a standard AC wall outlet. Note: A normal charge take approximately 3 hours, the screen displays a charging battery icon. You should charge your Dior Mini when you hear a low tone beep in your Dior Mini at regular intervals and when an empty battery indicators blinks. When you havent used your Dior Mini for a long period, it may take a few minutes before the charging battery indicator appears. Do not charge your Dior Mini for more than 10 hours. The use of any other charger will automatically suspend the warranty. It is strictly forbidden and can be dangerous. 44 Pairing your Dior Mini with your Diorphone In order to use the Dior Mini with your Diorphone, you must pair it with your Diorphone. Pairing is the process of establishing communication between two Bluetooth devices. To initiate pairing follow these steps:

1. Place your Dior Mini and Diorphone close to each other (0,3 meter / 1 foot) 2. Switch on your Diorphone and press the lower navigation key in order to get into the Bluetooth Menu 3. Select Search for audio device, if prompted to power on Bluetooth first, press the Yes soft key 4. To initiate paring on the Dior Mini, make sure it is OFF, then press and hold the cancel button for about 7 seconds until the Dior Mini indicates the pairing mode: a sound can be heard in the speaker 5. Once the Diorphone detects the Dior Mini, the phone screen displays Dior Mini. Follow the on screen Diorphone instructions to accept the pairing. The passkey is 0000. When pairing is successful, the Dior Mini synchronizes your SIM card contact list. This may take some times depending on how many contacts you have stored in your SIM phonebook (from 2 to 6 mn). IMPORTANT: After the pairing and during the phonebook synchronization, the Diorphone may ask you to connect to the Dior Mini, if you accept or decline, it will result on a connection failed message, it doesnt matter as the mini will automatically connect to Diorphone at the end of the synchronization. j From now on, to connect the Diorphone and Dior Mini, you will only need to have set Bluetooth activation to [On] by pressing the lower navigation key to access Bluetooth menu and selecting

[activation] and pressing [On] soft key, then start the Dior Mini by pressing the [Cancel] button for about 5 seconds (you will hear two beep sounds). To switch off the Dior Mini simply press and hold [Cancel] button for about 7 seconds (you will hear a beep sound). 45 Synchronizing Diorphones and Dior Mini phonebook When you add a new contact or number to your SIM card, you should synchronize your Dior Mini in order to update its phonebook. As seen in the previous section of this document, a synchronization is made when you pair the Diorphone and Dior Mini, but you can also force the phonebook synchronization in order to keep Dior Minis phonebook updated. This action is also required if a previous synchronization failed. Follow these steps in order to manually synchronize:

Switch off the Dior Mini. Press both Validate and Cancel button and release when the display switches on. The synchronization starts After synchronization, the Dior Mini connects to the phone (blinking icon) 46 Switching Dior Mini ON To switch ON your Dior Mini, pres and hold the [Cancel] button for about 3 seconds until the welcome Dior message appears, you can hear a double beep sound. If your Diorphones Bluetooth mode is activated, your Dior Mini will automatically establish the connection and will appear in [Active device] in the Bluetooth menu. 47 Switching Dior Mini OFF To switch OFF your Dior Mini, press and hold the [Cancel] button for about 7 seconds, you will hear a beep sound. Please note, that once Dior Mini switched OFF, all communications will be diverted to your Diorphone. 48 Calling a contact from the phonebook Make sure both Diorphone and Dior Mini are switched ON and connected. Press the [Cancel] button to get into the phone book menu, scroll up to the desired contact by pressing [Volume +] or [Volume -] to scroll down. To jump from one letter to another (Ex. From John to Kate) keep the [Volume -] pressed until you get to the desired letter. Press [Volume +] to jump to the previous letter. To call the selected contact, press [Validate] button. To end the call, press [Cancel] button. To exit from the phonebook menu, press [Cancel] button. When calling a contact, the Dior Mini will display the contacts name. 49 Calling a contact from the Last call menu Make sure both Diorphone and Dior Mini are switched ON and connected. The Last call menu stores up to 10 last incoming / outgoing calls made with Dior Mini. To get into the Last call menu press [Validate] button. Scroll down to the desired contact by pressing [Volume -] or [Volume +] to scroll up, press [validate]

to initiate the call. To erase all last call entries, press and hold [Cancel] button for 3 seconds To exit from the Last call menu, press [Cancel] button. When making an outgoing call, the Dior Mini will display the name of the contact or the phone number if you are calling a number from the [Last call menu]. 50 Accepting / rejecting a call When receiving a call, Dior Mini displays the callers identity if stored in the phonebook or the caller number if not stored. If the caller identity is hidden Dior Mini will display Unknown message. To accept the call,simply press the [Validate] button. To reject a call, simply press [Cancel button], it will send the caller to your voice mailbox. To mute your Dior mini ringtone, press and hold [Volume +] or [Volume -] for 3 seconds. To unmute the ringtone, press and hold [Volume +] or [Volume -] for 3 seconds. 51 In call available options Adjusting the speakers volume During a call, press [Volume +] button to increase the speakers volume or [Volume -] to decrease. Muting the microphone During a call, press and hold [Volume +] or [Volume -] button for 3 seconds to mute the microphone, you will hear a periodic tone in the speaker and the muted microphone icon will be displayed. To stop the muting, press and hold [Volume +] or [Volume -] button for 3 seconds, the periodic tone will stop and the muted microphone icon will disappear. Call waiting When you are already on a call and receiving another, you will hear a periodic double beep sound in the Dior Mini speaker, and the screen will display the blinking callers name or number under your current correspondent name or number, an incoming call status icon will appear. To accept the second call and place the current on hold press the [Validate] button for 3 seconds. To switch between the two calls, press the [Validate] button for approximately 3 seconds. To end the current call and take the call on hold, press the [Cancel] button. 52 Reset your Dior Mini If you encounter a problem with your Dior Mini, the first thing you should do is switching it Off as well as your Diorphone and switching them back On. If switching off doesnt solve the problem, you can reset your Dior Mini by pressing at the same time the following buttons: [Validate] + [Cancel] + [Volume -]. This will reset your Dior Mini to a normal state and switch it OFF. 53 Guidelines for safe use Read those guidelines before using your Dior Mini Before using your Dior Mini for the first time, adjust the headset volume to the lowest, then increase the volume gradually until you reach to an acceptable level. High levels of volume may result in hearing loss, avoid using the headset at high volume continuously. If you experience ringing in your ears or muffled speech, consult your doctor immediately and stop using the headset.

- Do not drop or try to alter the shape of your Dior Mini.

- Do not expose your Dior Mini to liquid or moisture.

- Do not expose your Dior Mini to extreme temperatures. Temperature range : 0-40oC.

- Do not expose your Dior Mini to fire or open flames.

- Do not try to disassemble your headset. Service and Maintenance can only be performed by authorized dealers.

- Keep your headset away from dust and dirt.

- Do not let children play with your headset, since it contains small parts that could become detached and create a choking hazard.

- Check the regulation in your area if you plan to use your Dior Mini while driving.

- Turn off your Dior Mini before boarding an airplane. CAUTION : The built-in battery is non-replaceable. Do not attempt to replace it. Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Dispose of batteries according to local regulations. Do not dispose as household waste. 54
