RF exposure compliance was determined in vehicle-mount antenna configurations with respect to uncontrolled MPE limit for vehicle occupants and SAR limit for bystanders at a separation distance of up to 60cm from the two types of antennas described in this filing. Qualified end-users of this device must have the knowledge to control the exposure conditions of bystanders to ensure a minimum separation distance of 60cm is maintained between the antenna and persons outside of the vehicle for satisfying RF exposure compliance. The operation of this transmitter must satisfy the requirements of Occupational/Controlled Exposure Environment, for work related use only. For other fixed-mounted operations, the antenna must be installed to provide a separation distance of at least 60cm from persons to ensure compliance. End-users must be provide with specific instructions for meeting Occupational/Controlled Exposure Environment requirements. The highest reported MPE value at 60cm from the antenna is 0.27 W/cm2. Class II Permissive Change to add TDMA emission Designators.
