Click <Next> and install DIGITAL AUDIO MANAGER. Click <Finish> and then the installation is complete. Then DIGITAL AUDIO MANAGER will be registered in 'Program' of 'starting menu'. 5 Connecting to PC Connecting to PC 1. Plug one end of USB cable into the USB port on the back of computer. 2. Plug the other end of USB cable into USB port on the player. Notice !!
If you connect USB cable while playing, it may cause malfunction. To avoid this, you have to connect USB cable in the status of pause/stop. 6 Installing USB driver (Automatic) Installing USB driver (Automatic) 1. Plug USB cable to PC. 2. USB driver will be installed with a message saying that it is searching for a new device. 3. If you failed to install USB driver, restart your PC and try again.
(If USB driver is not installed at the second attempt, contact your PC manufacturer.) 4. When USB driver is installed, "USB FOR DIGITAL AUDIO DEVICE" will appear in <System Properties> --> <Device Manager>as shown. 7 Manual Installation of USB Driver If USB driver does not install automatically, there is not "USB FOR DIGITAL AUDIO DEVICE" in

Connect the player to PC to install the driver manually. 1. Windows XP Follow the below sequence. If you complete installation, Click <Finish> button. There might be shown a warning message and then ignore that message and keep going the process. 8 2. Windows 98 Follow the below sequence. 9 3. Upon turning on the power, a music starts immediately. (Autoplay) 17 Pause / Power-Off If you press "" button shortly while playing, the music stops. Then press "" button again for more than 2 seconds, and the player will be "Power Off". 18 Volume Control Press Vol. +/- on the left side of the player to adjust the volume with 0~30 figures while playing. 19 Fast Backward & Fast Forward If you're pressing " " or "" button while playing, Fast Backward or Fast Forward works. 20 Moving to the first of the song When you press " " or "" button shortly while playing, you can move to the first of the song.
* Note : This feature does not work if playing time passed over 5 seconds. 21 Loop Repeating While playing music, press the "Rec." button shortly at the beginning of the loop you want to set.
"A" flickers in the display Press the "Rec." button shortly again at the end of the loop you want.
"AB" appears in the display panel and the loop is played repeatedly. Press the "Rec." button shortly to exit from the loop. 22 Previous / Next Track Press "" button shortly, if you want to move next song(track). Press "" button shortly, if you want to move previous song(track). 23 Deleting Files Press "Rec." button long while playing, current playing song is deleted. 24 Intro On / Off If you press "" button long, each music is played in sequence for 10 seconds. Press the "" button again to exit from Intro mode. 25 MODE Setting Press "" button shortly to pause music while playing. Then press MODE button long and will be converted into MODE setting mode. EQ lamp of display panel flicks, then change EQ pressing "" or "" button. After setting, press MODE button shortly to exit. Navigation Press "Mode" button long while playing. Search files pressing "" or "" button. If you press "", the selected song plays. There might be a noise in Navigation mode when operating keys. 28 Recording function (Voice Recording) Mike Press "" button to stop music while playing.
"Recording now..." is appeared on the display panel when pressing "Rec." button longer than 2 seconds, and recording starts.When recording voice, voice file is created automatically. Press "Rec." button shortly to stop recording voice. 29 Playback & Deleting Voice file(s) 1. Playback of recorded file is the same as playback of music file. Select a file using ""
or "" and then press "" for playback. When deleting a voice file that is playing currently, press "Rec" button longer than 2 seconds. 30 Returning to Audio Mode Press "" button shortly to pause while playing a voice file. And press "Mode" button long to be in MODE setting mode. Press vol. "+/-" button to select TYPE. Press "" or "" button to change into "Audio" mode. Press MODE button longer than 2 seconds to exit "Mode". 31 Hold On/Off Hold-On Hold-Off Slide the "hold" switch on your left side for Hold-On. Slide the "hold" switch on your right side for Hold-Off. 32 Troubleshooting Problem Cause and Action
- Check battery is inserted correctly
- Check the battery is exhausted out The power will not turn on
- The player may not operate normally in a cold weather. If temperature goes up, it works The button does not work
- Check "Hold" slide is "On" position Poor sound quality or No sound
- Check SMC card is inserted in right direction
- Check MP3 files are stored in internal or external memory
- If MP3 files downloaded to built-in memory or SMC card are wrong, the MP3 files can make a noise or stop playing
- Check the volume is set correctly MP3 files cannot be downloaded
- Check your MP3 player is power on
- Check USB cable is connected correctly to PC
- Make sure that if you removed the USB cable after copying MP3 files perfectly
