This document provides information about the Pocket ProReader RF. Pocket ProReader RF Recharging Use charger supplied with this unit only. During daily use, recharge the unit overnight, every night. During periods of storage or non-use, do not charge the unit. Then 16 hours prior to the next use, recharge the unit. Use the ON / OFF button to turn ON, turn OFF, or RESET the unit. Each time the Review key is pressed, a previous read is displayed and re-transmitted. l Press REVIEW / RESEND to see the previously captured readings. When a low battery is detected, the following message appears: LOW BATTERY. l Recharge the battery if you see this message. l Press REVIEW / RESEND to re-start. Reading Error A Reading Error is usually caused by one of these situations:
l End probe not aligned with remote pad. l No encoder is connected to remote pad. l Encoder is not connected properly to remote pad. l Connecting wire is cut or broken. Other Errors This section provides information on two other error messages. l SHORT Displayed as H; indicates the odometer contains a short circuit.
