= Operating and Caring. Radio waves control and drive the watercraft. Any of the following conditions may interfere with the behavior and function. The Transmitter signals can easily be interrupted. Caring for your Transmitter and watercraft is illustrated on these pages. Do not operate in salt water. Do not operate watercraft where there are water plants, rubbish or other obstacles in the pond. This could damage or impair propeller. Do not play where there is strong water current or when there is strong wind blowing on the pond.
~ Do not play outdoors during thunderstorms. Do not touch propeller while it is spinning. This is extremely dangerous. When lifting watercraft, be sure to hold the body securely. Be sure to bring the watercraft back to shore (out of water) before the battery power runs out. Do not operate watercraft in water without top of watercraft attached. Battery Compartment must be covered when in use. Wipe clean with towel after playing. Caution: Never use chemicals (including benzene, alcohol or thinner to clean). This Radio Control watercraft needs periodic fresh water cleaning and maintenance. CAUTION The rotating propeller is very dangerous. Never try to touch the propeller when the watercraft is turned ON. Proper Use Precautions KEEP BATTERY COMPARTMENT DRY It is possible that water can enter the inside of your watercraft during play. Periodically remove the top of the watercraft during use to remove any trapped water from the Battery Compartment. This should also be done at the end of each play session. Allow to dry completely before reassembling watercraft. BATTERY REMOVAL After play, always turn watercraft off. Remove 2 AA batteries from Transmitter and
- rechargeable Battery Pack from watercraft when not in use or when storing. Leakage may occur and cause damage if left for a long period of time. WATER BUILD-UP Drain watercraft periodically and before storing. To drain watercraft, bring boat to a dry place, remove rechargeable Battery Pack from watercraft and AA batteries from Transmitter. Remove Antenna Plug, and turn watercraft upside down until all water is drained from the hull. Replace top of watercraft. Turn tabs to lock into place. Dry watercraft well before putting it away. TRANSMITTER FREQUENCIES Each watercraft and Transmitter is marked with either 27MHz or 49MHz. A Transmitter of one frequency cannot control a watercraft of another frequency. Avoid operating this watercraft within 100 feet of another watercraft of the same frequency. If two watercrafts of the same frequency are operated in the same area, loss of control will occur. FCC CAUTION:
The manufacturer is not responsible for radio interference caused by unauthorized frequency modification to this equipment. Such modifications could void the user's authority to operate the equipment. Proper Use
