We designed Playbrush in a very unique way: you can use it with almost any manual toothbrush, it can be used as a toothbrush-holder, is not disruptive while brushing and most importantly it connects easily to your smartphone or tablet and makes your brushing experience more fun. Note for Parents that remember Please the natural playfulness and temperament of children may result in unforeseeable situations and dangers, for which the manufacturer cannot be held responsible. You should therefore instruct the children or users of how to use Playbrush, draw their attention to the possible dangers and keep children under supervision at all times. Playbrush GmbH does not accept any liability of any kind for accidents resulting from the use of Playbrush. 5 Some additional tips for using Playbrush Dont use Playbrush in the bathtub or the shower. There is a considerable risk of damaging the device. Users should not put Playbrush in their mouth. While Playbrush is working with almost all manual toothbrushes be careful with some bigger toothbrushing handles, as they could expand your Playbrushs elastic head. Charge Playbrush every 3-4 weeks to keep it useful for a very long period. Any standard micro-USB will do, like the one we supply for free. Playbrush is not recommended for children under 3 years. Small parts may be swallowed. 6 How to use the device This guide will help you to start and Playbrush easily in a few minutes. We encourage parents to help their children with the first time use of Playbrush. We implemented a very simple system for starting the device, but it might still be new for children. Always make sure that the arrows on the coloured part of Playbrush are inline with the arrows on the white part! Put the gadget onto the toothbrush. The first time you are using Playbrush, shake it until a yellow light is fading on. Also, the head of your toothbrush should always be inline with the arrows to guarantee the best playbrushing experience. On 2x 7 If you want to turn the device off, just hold it still for 1 min and it will fall to sleep. Just move Playbrush to turn it on again the yellow light starts blinking. On To start playbrushing you need to download our first game Utoothia from the App Store (Apple) or Play Store (Android). More games will be available later on. Visit www.playbrush. com for updates on games. 8 The first time you use Playbrush you will see on screen instructions how to connect the Playbrush, follow the instructions. Once the Playbrush is connected you will proceed to a screen to select a character. You can add characters for different family members. Once you added a character by selecting and avatar and typing in your username you can already start the game. Each character should have a unique name. 9 Start Utoothia on your Apple or Android device. Your phone needs to support Bluetooth Low Energy (Bluetoth Smart, Bluetooth 4.0.) to connect to Playbrush. Most state-of-the-art smartphones and tablets do. After starting the app and selecting a character, Playbrush automatically connects to your phone via Bluetooth - ensure that Bluetooth is turned on. Once your Playbrush is connected to your mobile device, the yellow light is blinking. 10 If Bluetooth is not turned on or your Playbrush is not connected we show a Connect Button instead of a Play Button. Simply turn on Bluetooth on your phone and press the Connect Button. CONNECT Once your Playbrush is connected you will see the Play Button. Simply press it to start your 2 min brushing game. And off-we-
go start brushing and enjoy the experience. 11 Who to use Playbrush is designed for children and young-at-hearts only!
