Appliance runs hot while operating. Do not touch the housing while the kettle is operating. Do not lean over the appliance when the lid is on to avoid scalds. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow the appliance to cool before putting on or taking off parts. Never handle the plug with wet hands. Do not pull power cord to disconnect from the outlet; instead, grasp the plug and pull to disconnect. Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to off, then remove plug from wall outlet. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces. Damaged cord may cause a shock, fire, or lead to a failure that will not be cov-
ered by the warranty. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examina-

lines when cleaning the unit. To protect against electrical shock do not immerse cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other liquids. Do not wash the device under running water. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and older and people with reduced physical, sen-
sory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Keep the appliance, its cord, and all packaging materials out of reach of children aged less than 8 years. PRIOR TO THE FIRST USE Carefully take the appliance and its detachable parts out of the package. Remove all wrapping materials and stickers except for the serial number identification sticker. No serial number identification sticker on the appliance auto-
matically disables the users right to aftersales service. After the appliance transportation or storage at low temperature keep it at room temperature for at least two hours before plug-
ging in. 8 Wipe the appliance housing and base with damp cloth and let it dry. Please, make sure there is no water in the appliance control circuitry and on its base. It is recommended to boil water in the kettle a few times before the first use to get foreign smell out and disinfect the appliance. II. APPLIANCE OPERATION Fix the kettle with the base to the dry, solid, horizontal surface. Ensure the escaping steam does not fall on wallpaper, decorative coats, electric units and other items, which can be damaged by steam and high temperature. Unwind the power cord to the desired length. Put the excessive part into the compartment located on the base bottom. If neces-
sary use the extender of a suitable power (no less than 2.5 kW). Ready for Sky Technology The Ready for Sky technology enables to use the software app of the same name to control the appliance remotely from a smart-
phone or tablet. 1. Enable the Bluetooth function on the electric kettle (see
"Bluetooth function"). The remote control of the Kettle SkyKettle RK-G200S-A is only possible when the Bluetooth function is on. 2. Download the software from the App Store or Google Play
(depending on your operating system) onto your smartphone or tablet. For the minimum supported OS version, see the company's official website www.redmond.company or the application description at the App Store and Google Play. 3. Start the Ready for Sky app, create an account, and follow the prompts appearing on the screen. 4. To the standby mode press and hold down button until three audible signals is heard. The temperature value indica-
tors will light up alternately during the connection process. After the connection is made the appliance will make three short audible signals. If within 30 seconds the connection wont be made, the appliance will make two short audible signals and switch to the standby mode. until the longer sound signal. The temperature value indicators will flash when the connection is broken. To provide a stable connection, your mobile device should be located no more than 49ft (15 meters) away from the appliance. 5. To disable remote control press and hold Bluetooth function 1. With the power off, press and hold down the buttons on the control panel of the Kettle, connect the power supply. 2. When Bluetooth is turned on, the indicators will light up alternately from right to left. After the connection is made an audible signal will be heard and appliance will switch to the standby mode. and 3. When Bluetooth is turned off, the indicators will light up alternately from left to right. After the disconnection is made an audible signal will be heard and appliance will switch to the standby mode. Water Boiling 1. Remove the kettle from the base. Press the lid release button. 2. Pour water into the kettle, water level should be between the MIN and MAX points on the scale. If water level is higher than MAX point, the boiling water may be splashed. In case of water undersupply the appliance may be switched off in advance. ATTENTION! The unit is meant only for water heating and boiling. 3. Close the kettle lid and set the kettle to the base. The appli-
ance will be operated only if it is properly fixed. 4. Plug in the appliance. The heating temperature indicators will flash, the appliance will switch to the standby mode. 5. Press
. A short audible signal will be heard, water heating process will be started, the inner housing illumination will be enabled. The flask illumination will change the colour during heating. 6. After water comes to a boil three audible signals will be heard, the flask illumination will go out, the appliance will switch to the standby mode (no indicator light). 7. To interrupt water heating process, press again or remove the kettle from the base. Water Heating Without Boiling 1. To heat water without boiling to 100, 130, 160, 185F (40, 55, 70, 85C) in the standby mode select the necessary temperature using

To interrupt the Keep Warm mode press or remove the kettle from the base. Temperature maintenance mode This mode provides maintenance of the selected temperature
(100, 130, 160, 185F) (40, 55, 70, 85) for 12 hours. If the tem-
perature drops lower than the selected value, the heating element will be automatically enabled. Water is not reboiled. At the end of the process, the appliance switches to the standby mode. To enable the Keep Warm mode during boiling select the necessary

When re-enabling the audible signals the appliance will make a short audible signal. Safety Systems The kettle is equipped with the system of auto shut-off upon boiling or removing from the base. In case of water shortage the automatic overheat protection turns off the kettle. Let the appliance cool down, thereafter it will be ready for operation. III. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Before cleaning unplug the appliance and let it cool down. DO NOT immerse the appliance, its base, plug, or power cord in water or wash it under running water!
ATTENTION! Before use the appliance, please, make sure that its electric contacts are dry. DO NOT use a sponge or tissue with hard or abrasive surface, any chemically aggressive substances, or any other agents which are not recommended for cleaning items that come into contact with food. Regularly wipe the kettle housing and base with a damp cloth. Let the kettle and base dry thoroughly before use. While in operation scale deposits may form on both the heating element and the housing inner walls of the appliance depending on water type being used. Use special nonabrasive cleaning substances for kitchen utensils and appliances. Follow the prod-
uct application instructions. Thoroughly wash the appliance with water after cleaning and wipe with a damp cloth. Before repeated operation or storage clean and completely dry all parts of the appliance. Keep the appliance in a dry, ventilated place, far away from heating appliances and out of direct sunlight. During transportation and storage, do not expose the device to mechanical stress, which can lead to damage of the device and/
or violation of the package integrity. It is necessary to keep the device package from water and other liquids. 10 IV.
