g3 Cordless NetScroll Mouse User's Manual SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS In order to connect your g3 Cordless NetScroll Mouse to your computer, you will need a minimum hardware and software configuration as follows

@ AnIBM PC or Compatible system with 486 Processor or above.

@ MS-DOS Ver 5.0 or higher, Windows 3.x, Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows NT or other compatible operating system e@ Anavailable 9 Pin Serial (RS-232) Port or PS/2 Mouse Port. HOW TO INSERT BATTERY TO THE MOUSE Kindly insert 2 pieces of 1.5V AAA (UM-4) size of alkaline or normal type of batteries into the battery compartment as follows 1) Remove the battery cover of your g3 mouse by press the bar. 2) Insert the batteries according to the direction indicated inside the compartment, ensure the +

& - end have good contact with the batteries 3) Close the cover. HOW TO CONNECT THE RECEIVER Your g3 mouse can work well with serial mode or PS/2 mode, PS/2 mode is recommended and you can plug the receiver directly to you computer if you use PS/2 Port. If you use serial Port, you need to use our KCH Adapter (Delivered with your g.3 Mouse). Follow these steps to connect your g.3 mouse receiver:

1) Turn your computer OFF completely. 2) Locate the PS/2 or Serial Mouse Port that you want to use (If you are replacing your existing ordinary wired mouse or trackball, that is the port). 3) Plug in accordingly. 4) Turn your computer ON, you will see the indicator in the receiver flash 4 times to indictor you have connected the receiver correctly. CHANNEL SELECTION Your g.3 mouse has 5 channels selectable for you. Your mouse is set to Channel (CH) 1 at the factory as the default channel. If you have met any of following problems, please change channel for best reception of signal

@ Somebody is using another g3 mouse close to you

@ You found the working distance of your g3 mouse suddenly become shorter, which may be due to radio interference in your working environment.

@ Your receiver lost communication with the g.3 mouse

Follow the step below to change channel. 4) Press the channel button on the receiver, the LED indicator will light ON when you release the button 2) Put g3 mouse as close as possible to the receiver, then press the channel button at the bottom of 3 mouse, the LED at the left side will flash continuously;

The LED indicator on the receiver will flash 4 times and then OFF to confirm when it successfully changed to the next channel. CAUTION 4. The channel button of g3 mouse must be pressed within 5 seconds after the channel button on receiver is pressed;

2. The channel changing will last about 5 seconds. Keep the g3 mouse close to the receiver when the LED indicator on the receiver still blinking or ON;

3. Do not press any button including the Left, Right & Scroll buttons. When you g3 mouse totally lost communication with the receiver and you can't fix it by changing the channel. You need to reset both g3 mouse and g3 receiver to default channel by following steps 1) For g3mouse, press the right key, left key and scroll wheel button simultaneous and keep all these keys pressed in one of your hand, and then press the channel button with another hand The LED at the bottom of g3 mouse will flash 4 times to indicate the channel has been set to default channel. 2) For receiver, you just need to press and hold the channel button for more than 5 seconds The LED on the receiver will flash 4 times to indicate the channel have been set to default channel. HOW TO ON/OFF g3 MOUSE You OFF your g3 totally by press and hold the channel button of g3 mouse for more than 2 seconds until the LED light will ON without blinking indicates your g.3 mouse has been OFF. The LED will light OFF when you release the button You can turn the mouse ON by the same way, but the LED will blinks when you turn the mouse ON, you can release the button when you see the LED is blinking. Then, your g3 mouse is ready to work, As g3 mouse have SMART POWER for battery power saving. It can detect any movement and wake up immediately. For power saving, always OFF your mouse under the following circumstances:

1) Travelling 2) Tobe stored for a long period.
