g3 Cordless NetScroll Mouse User's Manual SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS In order to connect your g3 Cordless NetScroll Mouse to your computer, you will need a minimum hardware and software configuration as follows
@ AnIBM PC or Compatible system with 486 Processor or above.
@ MS-DOS Ver 5.0 or higher, Windows 3.x, Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows NT or other compatible operating system e@ Anavailable 9 Pin Serial (RS-232) Port or PS/2 Mouse Port. HOW TO INSERT BATTERY TO THE MOUSE Kindly insert 2 pieces of 1.5V AAA (UM-4) size of alkaline or normal type of batteries into the battery compartment as follows 1) Remove the battery cover of your g3 mouse by press the bar. 2) Insert the batteries according to the direction indicated inside the compartment, ensure the +
& - end have good contact with the batteries 3) Close the cover. HOW TO CONNECT THE RECEIVER Your g3 mouse can work well with serial mode or PS/2 mode, PS/2 mode is recommended and you can plug the receiver directly to you computer if you use PS/2 Port. If you use serial Port, you need to use our KCH Adapter (Delivered with your g.3 Mouse). Follow these steps to connect your g.3 mouse receiver:
1) Turn your computer OFF completely. 2) Locate the PS/2 or Serial Mouse Port that you want to use (If you are replacing your existing ordinary wired mouse or trackball, that is the port). 3) Plug in accordingly. 4) Turn your computer ON, you will see the indicator in the receiver flash 4 times to indictor you have connected the receiver correctly. CHANNEL SELECTION Your g.3 mouse has 5 channels selectable for you. Your mouse is set to Channel (CH) 1 at the factory as the default channel. If you have met any of following problems, please change channel for best reception of signal

@ You found the working distance of your g3 mouse suddenly become shorter, which may be due to radio interference in your working environment.
