Button Overview A button is available on the opposite side of the vent handle. This button has multiple functions as described below:

Mobile App: User gets a notification letting them know they can update. User is told to turn device on and cant update while cooking or grilling. 2. User presses update. The device version will change when the update is successfully complete. The user should not turn off the device or disconnect it from the internet during this time. le User plugs in device. User should download mobile app and start connecting. User should execute Long Press on Setup Button, connect to device WiFi w/ mobile phone and follow app instructions. Previously Connected Device:
Ae User plugs in device. 2. Device connects to the internet with saved WiFi credentials and the LED shows Blue Slow Flash until connected. Connect - Device Setup Giving the device WiFi credentials and registering it to your account 1. App: Screen instructs user to connect device to power (See Turn On Device) and use Long Press to initiate Connect Mode. Device: Blue Quick Flash to signify Connect Mode, creating a WiFi network. App: User connects to the devices WiFi network iKamand-
XXXXXX"and enters the home WiFi network (home WIFI) SSID and password that they want the device to connect to. The controller should be near the WiFi network they want to connect to. Give the device a couple minutes to complete network handshake. If successful:
1. Device: Blue Solid LED. 2. App: User has successfully connected the device to their account. If not successful:
1. Device: Blue Slow Flash. 2. App: User can enter/try new credentials or skip. User prompted to press Connect Button and reconnect to the device's WiFi. Grill Start Grill from App:
|. User presses Grill button in app and selects a time duration, then presses Start:
A. If device is on, connected and successfully starts, user should enable push notifications and then move to the Grill monitor page > See Monitor (Grill) B. If user has never connected to device before, user is notified and can Connect > See Connect C. If device is off [or has no WiFi connection], user is told to turn device on and attempt again > See Turn On Device Stopping Grill User can press stop at any time by Short Pressing the Setup Button on the device or pressing a button in the mobile app, at which point the Grill mode will end. Device Overheating If the temperature probes are over the max safety temperature, then Stoke mode or Grill mode will automatically stop. Monitor (Grill) Users can (on the app):
e Monitor temperatures Change the grill duration e See how much time is left on the grill e Stop the grill by Short Pressing the Setup Button or pressing a button on the mobile app e Change the WiFi credentials while grilling 3. User starts cooking and is asked to enable notifications:
A. lf device is on, connected and successfully starts cooking, user moves to monitor page > See Monitor B. If user has never connected to device before, user is notified and can Connect > See Connect C. If device is off (or has no WiFi connection), user is told to turn device on and attempt again >See Turn On Device
. Device receives command and successfully starts cooking. LED lights:
A. lf connected: Green Solid LED B. If attempting to connect: Green Slow Flash C. If in Connect mode: Green Quick Flash Device runs fan to control the Pit temperature and sends temperature values to the user via WiFi
. When the last food reaches its target temperature, the device will stop running if connected to WiFi Monitor (Cook) Users can (on the app):
Monitor temperatures Change target pit and food temperatures View graphs of their food and pit temperatures Estimate when food will be ready Keep their food warm by setting their pit temperature to the temperature of their food Change the WiFi credentials while cooking Stop the Cook session from the mobile app or by Short Pressing the button Manual Stoke
. Device: User applies Short Press on Setup Button on device and device starts running the fan at full speed for 5 minutes. The user can start cooking or grill from the app and override the Stoke. If the user Short Presses Setup Button, the stoke ends. If they apply a Long Press, the stoke ends and they enter Connect mode. Cook (Low and Slow) Controlled Pit Temp Starting a cook:
1. User adds pit temperature, target food temperature, weight and food type in mobile app. Users can also cook from recipes in mobile app. 2. User selects probe that they are using to measure food. {Probes should be hooked up.) Notifications The user will get notifications:
10 minutes before food is ready When the target pit temperature is reached When food is ready If pit temperature is too high and another vent should be closed If any probe is not working If device loses internet connection Another user connects to the device - the fan will stop running
