Press the power button when the camera is off to turn it on
Press the power button to take photos once the camera is on
Press and hold down the power button for two seconds to switch to recording mode;
release the power button before holding it down for five seconds to start recording
If the power button is pressed and held down for over five seconds, the camera will automatically enter the shutdown process Power indicator
