Specification 1. Before You Start Thank you very much for purchasing this portable DVD player. These precautions explain how to use the player correctly and safely, thereby preventing you or others from injury. This section relates to your personal safety, and also helps minimize the risk of damaging the device. To ensure proper use of this product, please read carefully before proceeding and retain this user manual for further reference. 1.1. Safety Cautions
Keep the device away from fire or electric shock.
Do not open the device or attempt to disassemble it.
Do not insert fingers or foreign objects into the device.
Do not expose the device to rain, use it near water or in damp or wet conditions or place containers on it that contain liquids which might spill into any openings. If liquids enter the device, switch the device off immediately and unplug it from the power outlet.
Make sure the power outlet is electrically grounded, and do not touch
the plug with wet hands. Follow the Operation Manual carefully. Follow the correct procedures when setting up the device.

Specification English 1.2. Things you must know of the player Transportation Although this portable player comes with high excellent suspension design, its highly recommended to remove the disc from the device during transportation to prevent the disc from scratching. The power should be turned off and the power cord should be unplugged if youre going to transport the player. Installation A stable platform is better for the player reading data from discs; do not settle the player on top of a TV nor a CRT monitor. Magnetic force is also what you have to take into consideration when finding a proper portion, any devices with magnetism may affect the function and operation of the player. Placement Do not place any object on the player, the TFT panel is extremely fragile and any pressure may cause unrecoverable damage to it. Power It would be better to turn off the power of player when its not in use; its helpful to extend the lifespan of the player and prevent interference to TV image especially when they are connected. Safety It is strongly recommended not using the player while driving. Some countries and states have laws to prohibit or severely restrict the use of the player in vehicles, airplanes, and hospitals. Do not leave the player or the battery pack in places with extremely high (60C and above) or extremely low (-10 C and below) temperature. This kind of extreme environment may seriously damage the quality of the player such as warping the outer case or reducing the lifespan of battery pack.

Specification Cleaning Mostly you just need to clean the player with a soft and dry cloth; for tough dirt, just get some neutral detergent diluted in 5 or 6 parts water to a soft cloth and wring out thoroughly, wipe out the dirt and then wipe the player again with a dry cloth immediately. Note that alcohol, thinner, benzene, insecticides, etc., may cause failure to the coating and printing on the surface. Please also avoid leaving rubber or plastic stuffs in contact with the player for long periods, as this may damage the cabinet. Last but not least, always unplug the power cord from the power outlet before cleaning the player.

DVD-RAM 2.4. The Handling of Disc Please read the following regarding the handling of CD/DVD discs.
Do not expose the discs to excessive heat such as in direct sunlight or near a heater. Also avoid keeping them in a humid place.
Do not touch disc surfaces. When handling a disc, hold it by its edges.
Remove dust and dirt from disc surfaces. Use air-based dust removers. The surfaces may be scratched if wiped with a dry cloth. Do not clean discs with chemicals or detergents.
Do not bend or drop discs, nor stick labels on disc surfaces.

Specification 3. Enjoy the movie with no pain It cannot be easier to enjoy the DVD video with this portable DVD player. With this portable DVD player, all the complex setting and steps could be skipped and cast behind your back; the only thing you have to do is just slot the disc into the player and throw yourself down to the couch. 3.1. First Contact First of all, plug the adapter to an outlet. Secondly, connect the other side of the power cord to the jack marked DC-IN at the left side of the player, and turn the power on. Finally, put your DVD disc into the slot at right side and thats it!

LCD ON/OFF (Standby Mode) This button is used for turning ON/OFF the LCD power of the player;

Volume Up/Down Turn up/down the volume when playing the video/audio.

When a TV tuner module is installed, this button would be TV scan selection button. Press the adjust key for over one time, the quick adjust function would rotate in the order of:

Change Battery Changing battery is as easy as changing your alarm clock battery. It needs no complicated steps. Push-open locker First of all, please flip the remote control over. You may see that the battery container is at the bottom and its push-open locker is at its right side. And after that you will find all interfaces are designed with practical settings that are useful to you. 4.1. System Setup To enter settings just simply press the Setup button on remote control, you may find SYSTEM SETUP at the first page. Within the system setup, you may find settings as follow. Specification English TV SYSTEM SCREEN SAVER TV system is what you have to adjust when you are living in different countries and get different local disc format. The default setting is AUTO and mostly you dont have to change. To do the settings manually, you have these selections:

RATING PASSWORD Specification Password is quite a considerate function. You may decide the rating of a specific movie and set password for it. For movies that are inappropriate for children to watch, you may set password to lock them up.

EXIT SETUP Specification English After having all configurations set up, you may exit setup from here. Every setup comes with the EXIT SETUP at the last item. 4.2. Language Setup To enter LANGUAGE SETUP is as easy as entering system setup. Simply press the Setup button on remote control, and then press RIGHT arrow keys to get to the LANGUAGE SETUP page. LANGUAGE DVD AUDIO LANG Specification The language setting here refers to the language of the interface. Every wording of this system will be the language you chose. The system comes with 6 languages for your preferences. ENGLISH CHINESE GERMAN SPANISH FRENCH PORTUGESE AUDIO LANG follows the same rule of LANGUAGE. You may decide the language versions coming out from your audio system. SUBTITLE LANG decides the language versions of the subtitle during playback. MENU LANG decides the menu language of the DVD you played. EXIT SETUP comes at the last option as well in language setup. Exit the setup after completing settings. Specification English 4.3. Audio Setup DOWNMIX AUDIO OUT EXIT SETUP AUDIO OUT DYNAMIC RANGE AUDIO SETUP may set different configurations for your audio device on your system. To get into audio setup, just follow the same path of the previous ones. With this SPDIF format option, you may output the audio to a high-end amplifier for better sound effect. It also supports 5.1 channel surround to adopt with your amplifier. SPDIF/OFF No SPDIF output. SPDIF/RAW With Dolby Digital / DTS encoded SPDIF output. SPDIF/PCM Without Dolby Digital / DTS encoded SPDIF output. Depending on the audio channels you got on your audio system. You may decide the DOWNMIX of the channels, whether they are LT/RT, Stereo, VSS, or just turn off. Dynamic range decides the pitch of volume. You may set them as full, 6/8, 4/8, 2/8 or off. Specification 4.4. Karaoke Setup MIC ECHO MIC INPUT KARAOKE SETUP, literally, means setting up anything that relates to your karaoke disc and microphone. To get into KARAOKE SETUP, just follow the same path of the previous ones. You may turn the microphone on automatically by setting AUTO or turning it off by selecting OFF in the MIC INPUT option. Back Plates Specification 5.2. Accessory Installations Battery Installation Installing battery is easy. All you need is 2 steps to install it and only 1 step for uninstalling. When the battery module (or TV module) is not in use, its strongly recommended to lay back the plates to protect the contacts from oxidation. The installation steps are exactly the same as mentioned above. Insert the other end of the battery (the one with a two teeth) to the extension dock. Insert one end of the battery (the one with a single plate) to the extension dock. Uninstalling battery module; press the lock to its other side to release the battery.

Specification English AV Cable Connection AV-OUT Connect one end of the AV cable (the black one) to the AV-OUT jack of DVD module. Connect the other end of the AV cable (the one with red, yellow and white connectors) to the TV sets or any other monitors. With AV cable plugged in the AV-OUT jack, it allows you to transfer any audio, MP3 or images you have on DVD player to your TV sets, so that you could have a bigger view on TV.
