Slide ON/OFF inside the battery compartment to ON. 4. Insert eight C rechargeable batteries in the battery compartment, matching the polarity symbols (+ and -) marked inside. 5. Connect one end of the 12V DC adaptor to the DC 12V jack and plug the other end to a standard AC outlet. 6. When charging is completed, unplug the DC adaptor from the power source, and disconnect it form the speakers DC jack.
