You can operate in either digger mode or dipper mode to complete your duty. In the transforming action , you can see the tank and the exhaust pipe move up and down , and the driver chamber turn from front side to back side. The moving tank can pick up or drop down specified light weight stuff!

Built to 1/20 scale, your Load Shifter can reach speeds up to 180 feet per minute. The Load Shifter comes in two frequencies (27 MHz & 49 MHz) so you can operate with a friend. Check your Load Shifter box to see which frequency the truck uses. NOTE: You need 4 AA alkaline batteries (not supplied) to power the Load Shifter and 4 AA alkaline batteries (not supplied) for the transmitter. For the best performance and longest playing life, we recommend RadioShack alkaline batteries. The Load Shifter is perfect for beginner play, ages 4 & ups. THE FCC WANTS YOU TO KNOW Your Load Shifter or its transmitter might cause TV or radio interference even when it is operating properly. To determine whether your Load Shifter or its transmitter is causing the interference, release the transmitter's buttons and turn off your Load Shifter. If the interference goes away, your Load Shifter or its transmitter is causing it. Try to eliminate the interference by:
*Moving your Load Shifter and its transmitter away from the TV or radio
*Contacting your local RadioShack store for help If you cannot eliminate the interference, the FCC requires that you stop using your Load Shifter and transmitter. INSTALLING BATTERIES WARNING: Dispose of batteries promptly and properly; do not bury or burn them. Cautions:

*Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries (standard, alkaline, or rechargeable), or rechargeable batteries of different capacities.

*If you will not be using the Load Shifter for a week or more, remove the batteries from both the transmitter and the truck. Batteries can leak chemicals that can damage electronic parts. In the Transmitter The transmitter requires 4 AA alkaline batteries (not supplied). For the best performance and longest life, we recommend a RadioShack alkaline battery. 1, Slide ON/OFF switch on the transmitter to OFF 2. Slide the battery compartment in the direction of the arrow to remove it. 3. Put the batteries in the compartment as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and -) marked inside. 4. Replace the cover. Be sure it snaps in. When the transmitter's range decreases, replace its battery. In the Load Shifter Your Load Shifter requires 4 AA alkaline batteries for power. For the best performance and longest life, we recommend RadioShack alkaline batteries. 1.Slide ON/OFF switch on the Load Shifter to OFF 2. Press the seat-plate and pull it up to remove the seat. 3. Turn the battery compartment cover's latch in the direction of the arrows until they stop, then lift up the cover and remove it. 4. Install the batteries in the compartment as indicated by the polarity symbols (+
and -) marked outside the compartment. 5. Close the battery compartment cover and tum the latches to secure the battery compartment. NOTES:
If the Load Shifter moves slowly or not at all, replace the Load Shifter 's batteries. DRIVING THE LOAD SHIFTER, Warning: Never play with the Load Shifter in the street. Caution: When the Load Shifter goes outside the transmitter's control range, it stops. Hold the transmitter as high as possible with the antenna vertical to try to re-establish contact. If you cannot, you must move closer to the Load Shifter to control it again. 1. Slide ON/OFF switch on the bottom of the Load Shifter to ON. 2. Slide ON/OFF switch on the transmitter to ON. 3. Use the transmitter's control buttons to control the movement and the transforming of the Load Shifter . 4. Left Control Buttons for movement ( Dipper mode )

CARE The following suggestion will help you to take care of the Load Shifter so you can enjoy it for years.
*Do not drive the Load Shifter through puddles or mud, on a wet floor, or in sand, rain or snow. These may damage it.
*Do not expose the Load Shifter or transmitter to temperature extremes, and do not store them in direct sunlight or near a heat source.
*Do not leave the Load Shifter or transmitter outside overnight. Night dampness can damage their electronic circuits.
*To protect the Load Shifters mechanisms from lint and hair, do not drive the Load Shifter on carpet.
*Wipe the car and transmitter's internal components can cause a malfunction and might invalidate the Load Shifter's warranty and void your FCC authorization to operate it. If your Load Shifter is not performing, as it should, take it and the transmitter to your local RadioShack store for assistance. HELPFUL HINTS Follow these hints to get the most enjoyment from the Load Shifter. Running your Load Shifter continuously for long periods cause wear and tear on the motor. To keep heat levels down, when your Load Shifter's batteries run down, let the vv Load Shifter cool at least 10 minutes before installing new batteries. If the Load Shifter moves slowly and you have installed fresh batteries, check the Load Shifter mechanism and remove any lint, thread, hair, or dust you see. If someone uses a CB nearby, it might interfere with control of the Load Shifter. If this happens, move the Load Shifter and its transmitter away from the CB. You cannot operate your Load Shifter near devices with transmitters that use the same frequency (27 or 49 MHz). Check the Load Shifter 's box to see which frequency of Load Shifter you use.
