Your motorcycle needs.four AA batteries (not supplied) for power, and its controller needs one 9V battery (not supplied). For the best performance and longest life, we recommend RadioShack alkaline batteries. INSTALLING BATTERIES Warning: Dispose of batteries promptly and properly; do not bury. or burn them. Cautions:
Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type. Do not mix old and new batteries (standard, alkaline, or rechargeable), or rechargeable batteries of different capacities. ;
Never leave dead or weak batteries in the motorcycle or the controlier. e if you will not be.using the motorcycle for a week or more, remove the batteries from both the motorcycle and the controller. Batteries can leak chemicals that can. damage electronic parts. In the Controller 1. Slide ON/OFF on the handlebar to OFF. 2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw on the battery compartment cover and slide off the cover. 3. Place the battery in the compartment according to the polarity symbols (+ and -) marked inside. 4, Replace the cover and secure it with the screw. When the controller's range decreases, replace its battery. In the Motorcycle 1. Slide. ON/OFF on the side of the motorcycle to OFF. 2. Follow these steps to drive the motorcycle. For maximum range, hold the controller with the antenna pointing
~ Straight up. , 1 Slide ON/OFF on the controller's handlebar to ON. 2 Slide ON/OFF on the side of the motorcycle to ON. The motorcycles headlight turns on. 3 The controller has four control buttons. Hold.down A to move forward. Hold down to move backward. Hold down << to turn left. The driver's head tums left, and his left leg kicks out for leaning turn. Hold down > to turn right. The driver's head turns right, and his right leg kicks out for leaning turn. Release the control button to stop the motorcycle. 4 When you finish playing with the motorcycle, slide ON/OFF on both the controller and the motorcycle to OFF. HELPFUL HINTS These hints can help you get the most en-joyment from your motorcycle. Running your motorcycle continuously for long periods generates high heat levels. Heat causes wear and tear on the motor. To help keep heat levels down, when your motorcycles. battery dies, let the motorcycle cool at least 10 minutes before installing fresh batteries. Ifthe motorcycles motor runs but it does not respond to the controller, move closer to the motorcycle and try again.
* If someon uses a CB nearby, It might interfere with control of the motorcycie. If this happens, move the motorcycle away from the CB. You cannot operate your motorcycle near devices with transmitters that use the same frequency as your motorcycle (27 MHz). e If the motorcycle moves slowly and you just installed fresh batteries, check the wheel mechanisms for lint, thread, hair, or dust.
