OWNER'S MANUAL Please read before using this equipment, Your RadioShack Wireless Door Chime works as a doorbell or a remote pager. You can add an optonal sensor 90 that a chime sounds when someone walks imto A room. The chime Is easy to instal because it operates on battery power and requires no wiring. partment door. 2. Remove the racsiver's battery compartment cover by pressing down and sliding it in the direction of the arrow. 3. Set the channel switch inside the compartment to 1, 2,3, 4, or 5. Note: H# your door chime occa-

Set the channel switch inside the compartment to the same setting as the receiver. Note: After you set the channel, you must install batteries in the transmitter and receiver, Do not replace the battery compartment covers unt! you install batteries. INSTALLING BATTERIES The chimes transmilter requires 3 12V GP 27A battery (not supplied). The chimes receiver requires two AA bat-
teries (not supplied). For the best per-
formance and longest life, we recommend RadioShack alkaline bat-
teries. 1. Insert a 12V GP 27A battery into the transmitters battery compan-
ment as indicated by the polarity symbois (+ and -) marked near the battery compartment door. 2. Insert two AA batteries into the receiver's battery compartment as indicated by the polarity symbols
(* and ~) marked inside the battery compartment. 3. Replace both compartment cov-
ers. 4, Set the receiver's ON/OFF switch to ON, Press the transmitter's BELL button to best the transmitter and make sure the receiver is receiving. The transmitter's battery indicator lights and the receiver's chime sounds, Notes:
+ Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type.
* Do not mix old and new batteries, diferent types of batteries (ston-

MOUNTING THE DOOR CHIME Your wireless door chime comes with six screws (three long and three short) and three wall anchors to mount the transmitter, the transmitter holder, and the receiver, Mounting the Transmitter and Koider Mount the transmitter within 50 feet of the receiver.
