TheTX1isaradiofrequency(RF)remotecontroldesignedtobeusedwiththeCX(compact)andPX
(power)seriesdigitalaudioreceivers.Theprimaryfunctionoftheremoteistogivetheoperator completecontroloverallfunctionsavailableonthereceiver.Theoperationofthisremoteisexplained inthenextfewpages. TurningONandOffYourTX1RemoteControl:
ToturnonyourTX1remotecontrol,holddownthe[FN]buttonuntilyouseetheLEDsturnon. Toturnoffyourremotecontrol,holddownthe[FN]buttonuntilyouseetheLEDsblinkandthengoout. TheTX1willautomaticallyturnoffafter5minutesofinactivity. PlayingSoundFiles FolderSelection:
SoundfilesontheCXandPXseriesreceiversareloadedbytheuser,inoneof10folderslabeled0 through9,onthereceivermemorydevice.Eachofthesefoldersisaccessiblefromtheremotecontrol byakeypresssequenceof[Sel]+[foldernumber]. Examplekeypresssequence:[Sel],[5]
Thissequencewillselectfolder5. NOTE:Immediatelyafteryoupressthe[Sel]button,theLEDswillindicatethecurrentfolderyou arein.Ifyoudontwanttochangefolders,eitherselectthesamefolder,ordontpressany buttonsfor5seconds,andtheremotewillgetoutofSelectmode. PlayingFilesinaFolder:
Onceyouareinafolder,youcanquicklyplayanyoneof10soundsinthatfolderbyasinglepressofthe numericbuttonthatcorrespondstothedesiredsoundfilenumber[0]through[9]. Examplekeypresssequence:[5]
Thereceiverwillstartplayingsoundfile5inthefolderpreviouslyselected.Thedefaultfolder is0atstartup. TheLEDsontheremoteallowyoutoquicklyseethestateofthereceiver.Intheidlestate,theLEDswill indicatethelastfileselectedforplay. PausingaFile:
Youcaneasilypauseafileinplaybypressingthe[Pause/Play]buttonwhileafileisbeingplayed.To startthefileplayingagain,justhitthe[Pause/Play]buttononemoretime.Itisrecommendedthatyou holdthebuttondownuntilyouarecertainthattheplayorpauseactivityhastakenplace. VolumeUp/Down:
Therearetwoarrowkeys,anuparrowandadownarrowtorepresentthevolumeupandvolumedown respectively.Toturnthevolumeupordownduringfileplay,simplyholdoneofthesetwobuttons downuntilthedesiredvolumelevelisachieved. SpecialFunctions:
ThereareavarietyofspecialfunctionsontheCXandPXreceiversthatareactivatedbytheTX1 transmitter.Functionsareassignedtomostofthekeysonthekeypadaswhiteletteringbelowthekey, andareaccessedbysimplypressingthe[FN]buttonandthenthekeywiththedesiredfunction.Ifyou simplywanttoknowthelastsentspecialfunction,pressthe[FN]buttononceandthenthelastsent functionLEDwilllightonthekeypad.After5secondstheTX1remotewillconvertbacktotheidle state,whichisthefileplayingstate.Belowisalistofthespecialfunctionsassignedtoeachbutton:
