H1 User Manual 1 OVERVIEW Congratulations on your purchase of the RHINO 4G Mobile Hotspot. This manual helps you to learn how best to use your Mobile Hotspot. We recommend you read the Quick Start Guide that you have received along with your device for additional safety information. NOTE: Screenshots, icons, labels, visuals, are simplified for illustrative purposes only. They can slightly vary from your Hotspot display. Getting Started Using the Mobile Hotspot, you can access apps faster, upload and download data connecting to the internet. This device can connect up to 32 Wi-Fi signal-enabled devices with secure WPA-2 encryption and ensures security as of any router. For example, you can connect multiple devices such as laptops, tablets, e-readers, gaming consoles, and more at once. System Requirements The Mobile Hotspot is :

1. Compatible with all major operating systems. 2. Works with the latest versions of browsers such as Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer (IE10 or above), Safari, and Mobile Safari. NOTE: Make sure your other Wi-Fi signal-enabled devices have compatible browsers installed and have appropriate network carrier services. 2 GETTING TO KNOW YOUR HOTSPOT Power Key

Wi-Fi status Show the number of connected users. Connect with your computer via a USB Type-C cable. Airplane mode 4 Power Management Charging Your Mobile Hotspot Warning! It is important to fully charge your Mobile Hotspot's battery before using it for the first time. To charge the battery:

1. Connect the USB end of the charger into the charging port of the Mobile Hotspot. 2. Plug the other end of the wall charger into the appropriate electrical outlet. When the battery is fully charged, the battery icon will turn strong white. 5 Before using your Mobile Hotspot, read the battery safety information. For more information, see BATTERY USE. Caution! It is recommended that you use only the batteries and adapter that are included with your Mobile Hotspot to get optimum performance and safety. The adapter shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible. Due to the used enclosure material, the product shall only be connected to a USB Interface of version 2.0 or higher. The connection to so called power USB is prohibited. 6 GETTING STARTED Install the Battery 1. Open the back cover. 2. Insert the battery. 3. Put the cover back. 7 Replacing the SIM card Your Mobile Hotspot comes with a pre-installed 4G LTE SIM card. Press and hold the Power key to power on the Hotspot. After a moment the device will connect to the Internet automatically. You can also use your own 4G LTE SIM card. To install the 4G LTE SIM card (Not Included) 1. Put your fingernail in the small slot at the bottom of the device, lift and remove the cover gently. 2. Place a new SIM card into the slot and slide it to the right to lock it in place. 3.Put back the back cover. Caution! Do not bend or scratch your SIM card. Avoid exposing your SIM card to static electricity, water, or dirt. 8 Start Your Device Press and hold the Power Key to turn your Mobile Hotspot on . Press and release the Power Key to wake the Mobile Hotspot display. NOTE:

If the battery is extremely low, you may be unable to power on the device. Please charge your device first. Access the Internet Wi-Fi: Connect to the Wi-Fi network with your mobile device and then access the Internet. 1. Press and hold the Power Key to turn on the Mobile Hotspot . The welcome logo is displayed on the screen, and the Wi-Fi is ON. 2. Use your terminal device to search for the wireless network connection with the Wi-Fis SSID RHINO-xxxx. 9 3. 4. Enter the password. Touch the Power Key/Enter Key to connect. NOTE: The default Wi-Fi SSID and password can be found on the Wi-Fi Information screen. You can touch the Menu Key to view the default Wi-Fi SSID and password. USB Type-C cable: Connect with the computer via USB port and then access the Internet. Using your Mobile Hotspot Through the Mobile Hotspot, you can view your Mobile Hotspot's status, view your data usage, view Wi-Fi and connected devices details, and much more. 10 The Home Screen The Mobile Hotspot Home Screen gives you an overview of its status at a glance. The top of the screen features status indicators for network signal strength

, battery and others. Managing Your Hotspot You can manage your settings directly on the Mobile Hotspots screen or using the website. The following features help you to manage your Mobile Hotspots screen. For website instructions, including features that can only be managed on the website, see Managing Mobile Hotspot using the Website UI. 11 Device Information 1. Press and hold the Power Key to turn your Mobile Hotspot on. 2. From the Home screen to view the device details and connected devices. Wi-Fi Name/Password Info 1. From the Home screen, press the Menu Key to switch to the 2.4GHz / 5GHz WiFi info interface. 2. Press the Power/Enter Key to enter the detailed interface of 2.4GHz / 5GHz WiFi info. 12 3. The default Wi-Fi SSID and password can be found on the Wi-Fi Information screen. Airplane Settings 1. From the Home screen, press the Menu Key to switch to Airplane Settings. 2. Press the Power/Enter Key to enter the settings, press the Menu Key to turn on/off the Airplane Settings. 13 Help You can view the username and password of the Mobile Hotspot configuration web page. 1. From the Home screen, press the Menu Key to switch to Help. 2. Press the Power/Enter Key to check for username and password . Managing Mobile Hotspot using the Website UI Logging into the Device Management Website You can change the device settings by logging in to the Mobile Hotspot configuration web page. 1. Launch the Internet browser. Enter the Device Manager Website IP address http://192.168.1.1 in the Address bar. 2. Input the Password and then click Log In. 14 3. After the Mobile Hotspot configuration web page is opened, you can change the default settings. NOTE: The default password can be found on the Help Information screen. You can touch the Menu Key to view the default password. 15 Logging out of Device Management Website 1. From the home page,tap Logout in the upper right corner. 2. The Logout window displayed as shown below:

16 The Mobile Hotspot Website UI Home Screen The Home page allows you to quickly access commonly used links and all available menu options for your Mobile Hotspot. 17 Web UI Settings Networks This screen allows you to change the network settings, it may affect the devices network connection. Checking Access Point Names You can use the default Access Point Names (APNs) to connect to the Internet. 18 Wi-Fi Status Information The Wi-Fi information is displayed as shown below. This screen allows you to view Wi-Fi network settings for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz channels. 19 You can do the following settings:

Change settings that apply to the Wi-Fi network. Hide the password displayed on the device. Stop broadcasting of the SSID. Apply settings individually to both bands, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. Change the Wi-Fi password by entering the new password in the settings box. This has to be done individually for each band. 20 Tap Save Changes for the settings to take effect. Change the guest network settings to add the security. 21 Local Area Network (LAN) The Local Area Network information is displayed as shown below. Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP): to enable DHCP-specific settings to apply to your device. MAC address: Check the MAC address. IP address: Check the hotspots IP address. 22 Data Usage Check and manage the Mobile hotspot data use. The Data Usage section shows how much of your monthly data you have used and how much time remains until your next billing cycle. Messages This screen displays a list of all SMS messages sent from mobile devices to the device MDN(Mobile Directory Number). 23 Connections This screen allows you to check all connected devices. Settings 24 Software Update This screen allows you to check for software/hardware versions. Tap Check for new updates to obtain the latest software updates, if available. Restore and Restart 25 This screen allows you to remotely restore and reset the mobile hotspot. Tap Restore factory defaults to restore the original factory settings to the device. Tap Restart to restart the device. Account Settings 26 This screen allows you to manage your accounts. You can change the username and password to adjust their settings. GPS 27 This screen allows you to check the GPS information. NOTE: You can disable the GPS function when not in use. Most applications using this function will periodically query the GPS satellites for your current location. Advanced Settings 28 Tap Advanced Settings to adjust the following settings. Tap SIM to manage the SIM PIN. Tap DNS to manual DNS settings. Tap Firewall to control key firewall settings. NOTE: Before making any changes in other tabs, IP filtering and port filtering must be enabled here first. Tap MAC Filter to enable or disable the ability to add devices to your Whitelist or Blacklist. Tap IP Filter to define IP addresses that should be filtered. NOTE: Before IP filtering can be used for Blacklisted or Whitelisted devices, it needs to be enabled through the Firewall setting. 29 Tap Port Filter to define what type of ports to be applied. Tap Forwarding to management and customization of your IP address so that you can send and receive from your LAN and internet sides. Tap DMZ settings to manage the DMZ settings by enabling this feature and entering the desired IP address. Tap VPN pass Through to enable or disable the virtual private network connection settings. NOTE: Contact your company IT administrator for details of your VPN configuration, or check your VPN services website for additional info. Reset the Mobile Hotspot to factory settings 30 There is a Master Reset button underneath the battery cover, on the bottom of the Mobile Hotspot. This button resets the Mobile Hotspot to factory settings, including resetting the Wi-Fi name

(SSID) and Wi-Fi password. To reset the Mobile Hotspot, follow these steps:

1. Locate the Reset button removing the battery door. 2. Press and hold the Reset button with your finger or use the tip of a pencil or pen. Hold down until the display shows Resetting. Warning! Resetting your Mobile Hotspot overwrites all the existing settings. If the Wi-Fi settings change, you will lose the existing connection and need to reconnect using the new settings. 31 Troubleshooting Problem Recommended Action The connection between your Ensure that the Wi-Fi function device and a client through Wi-Fi cannot be established. Change the location and find a place with good signal. Open the back cover and press the Reset button to reset the device. Contact your service provider and confirm your APN settings. 32 The Mobile Hotspot configuration web page cannot be visited. Enter the correct IP address. Use only one network adapter in your PC. Do not use any proxy server. The connection between your device and a PC through a micro-USB cable cannot be established automatically. If the driver of your device is abnormal, reinstall the software. You need to uninstall the software first. 33 BATTERY USE Handle and store batteries properly to avoid injury or damage. Most battery issues arise from improper handling of removable batteries and, particularly, from the continued use of damaged batteries. Do not disassemble or open crush, bend or deform, puncture or shred. Do not modify or remanufacture, attempt to insert foreign objects into the battery, immerse or expose to water or other liquids, expose to fire, explosion or other hazard. Only use the battery with a charging system that has been qualified with the system per CTIA Certification Requirements for Battery System Compliance to IEEE 1725. Use of an unqualified battery or charger may present a risk of fire, explo-

sion, leakage, or other hazard. Replace the battery only with another battery that has been qualified with the system per this standard, IEEE-Std-1725. Use of an unqualified battery may present a risk of fire, explosion, leakage or other hazard. Only authorized service providers shall replace battery.

(If the battery is non-user replaceable). Promptly dispose of used batteries in accordance with local regulations. Avoid dropping the hotspot or battery. If the hotspot or battery is dropped, especially on a hard surface, and the user suspects damage, take it to a service center for inspection. Improper battery use may result in a fire, explosion or other 34 hazard. FCC RF Exposure Information (SAR) This device is designed and manufactured not to exceed the emission limits for exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy set by the Federal Communications Commission of the United States. During SAR testing, this device was set to transmit at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands, and placed in positions that simulate RF exposure in usage against the head with no separation, and near the body with the separation of 10 mm. Although the SAR is determined at the highest certified power level, the actual SAR level of the device while operating can be well below the maximum value. This is because the hotspot is designed to operate at multiple power levels so as to use only the power required to reach the network. In general, the closer you are to a wireless base station antenna, the lower the power output. The exposure standard for wireless devices employing a unit of measurement is known as the Specific Absorption Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit set by the FCC is 1.6 W/kg. This device is complied with SAR for general population / uncontrolled exposure limits in ANSI/IEEE C95.1-2019 and had been tested in accordance with the measurement methods and procedures specified in IEEE1528. The FCC has granted an Equipment Authorization for this model hotspot with all reported SAR levels evaluated as in compliance with 35 the FCC RF exposure guidelines. SAR information on this model hotspot is on file with the FCC and can be found under the Display Grant section of www.fcc.gov/ oet/ea/fccid after searching on FCC ID:

2AUOUH1. For this device, the highest reported SAR value for usage near the body is 1.16W/kg. While there may be differences between the SAR levels of various hotspots and at various positions, they all meet the government requirements. SAR compliance for body-worn operation is based on a separation distance of 10 mm between the unit and the human body. Carry this device at least 10 mm away from your body to ensure RF exposure level compliant or lower to the reported level. To support body-worn operation, choose the belt clips or holsters, which do not contain metallic components, to maintain a separation of 10 mm between this device and your body. RF exposure compliance with any body-worn accessory, which contains metal, was not tested and certified, and using such body-worn accessory should be avoided. 36 FCC COMPLIANCE This device complies with part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. NOTE: The manufacturer is not responsible for any radio or TV interference caused by unauthorized modifications or changes to this equipment. Such modifications or changes could void the User's authority to operate the equipment. NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reason-

able protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accor-

dance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.

Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different
