: Early Alert (alarm on edge of bed) The beeping indicates the sensorpad is attempting to pair with an alarm, and has begun calibrating. Pad-to-Bed Setup:
1 After power on the WUMP-40 will begin beeping. While this continues the sensorpad will automatically calibrate to a mattress. If the sensorpad stops beeping before you place it under the mattress, switch o and on again so the beeping restarts. Early Alert Edge 2 3 4 Lift the mattress up and place the sensorpad on the bed frame with the Early Alert Edge by the edge of the bed. For best results we recommend installing the sensorpad in the center part of the bed, beneath the hips or lower back of the resident. Place the mattress over the sensorpad. The calibration process will complete within 30s, indicated when the sensorpad stops beeping Do NOT enter the bed until the beeping stops. Test that your alarm is working properly before using. 4 Press and hold Program button on alarm unit GREEN LED steady on. You are now in pairing mode. If the pairing mode expires (LED OFF). Press hold Program button again. GREEN LED Steady On Program Button 2 3 Sensor Pad Test:
1 If Normal is selected, the sensor pad should trigger after laying down in centre, then exiting the bed. If Early Alert is selected, the sensor pad should trigger after laying down in centre, then sitting on the edge of the bed. It is now ready to use. 5 Your alarm will have visual and audible conrmation of pairing, immediately followed by an alarm. Press the Reset button to stop the alert. If the sensorpad stopped beeping before pairing completed, you may need to turn the sensorpad o, then on again. If pairing has not completed you may need to turn the sensorpad o, then on again
. 6 Close and secure the pocket. Care & Maintenance:
1 Use 1:100 solution of household bleach (5.25-6.15% sodium hypochlorite) for disinfecting the sensor pad. Do not immerse the pad in any liquid. Do not expose the pad to high temperature sanitizers. 2 3 Storage:
