INSTRUCTION MANUAL MODE DEMPLOI BEDIENGSANLEITUNG MANUAL DE INSTRUCCIONES EN. PRECAUTIONS OF BATTERY USE 1. Please do not put discarded batteries together with general household garbage. In areas with laws and regulations on recycling & disposal of waste batteries, please follow these regulations. 2. Dont short-circuit the battery. A short circuit occurs when metal objects (keys, jewellery, wires, coins, or other conductors) accidentally connect the positive and negative electrodes of a battery. A short circuit can damage batteries or connectors and may cause significant property damage or personal injury. Please care for the batteries properly and do not leave them in your pocket, wallet or bag with metal objects. 3. Do not set the battery on fire or leave it in a hot place in order to avoid overheating, bursting or combustion. 4. Do not disassemble, weld or modify the battery. Do not puncture the battery with a hard object as the battery may leak, overheat, burst or catch fire. 5. Do not remove, squeeze, heat or burn the battery inside the product. It is strictly prohibited to use sharp objects, screwdrivers or other devices to puncture or pry the battery open. The above operation may cause the battery to catch fire or burn. 6. If the batterys electrolyte (fluid) enters the eye, it can lead to blindness. If you splash the battery electrolyte (fluid) into your eyes, do not rub your eyes with your hands. Rinse thoroughly with water immediately & seek medical attention. If the batterys electrolyte (fluid) sticks to the skin and clothes, wash them immediately with soapy water & clean water and seek medical attention if necessary. 7. Do not transfer batteries from other products. Do not use any damaged chargers or batteries. If the temperature of the battery is too high during use, charging or storage, or abnormal phenomena such as discoloration, deformation, bulging & leakage occur in the battery, please stop using & replace the battery to avoid safety problems. 8. The battery is not waterproof; do not use or charge the battery in the kitchen, bathroom or in high temperature and humidity places. 9. When charging, the temperature of the battery will rise. Therefore, please do not put the battery inside flammable objects (such as: bedding, clothes, etc.) to avoid fire. Doing so may cause the battery to overheat or explode. WARNING!
1. The use of this device on public transportation may not be authorized by law. Please check your local laws and use this product only in private spaces 2. WARRANTY INFORMATION Ruroc warrants all products to be free of defects in material or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase, subject to the provisions below. WARRANTY PROCESS Before you return any product, please go to www.ruroc.com/returns and follow on-line returns process Ensure that the returned product is washed, clean and dry before shipping. Dirty and/or foul smelling helmets will be returned unprocessed or may delay the process with an additional surcharge Remember to include a note with your name, address and phone number AND, make sure to include a short statement explaining the warranty problem Alternatively, you may also return your product to the store from where you originally purchased the product. Any Ruroc dealer is able to handle the warranty process on your behalf. NOTE: Damage due to wear and tear, accident, misuse, or neglect, or if you fail to store or use a product other than in accordance with the instructions provided, or damage due to any repairs carried out by you or a third party not authorised by us, is not covered under warranty. Please contact our warranty department if you have any questions. EN. FITTING YOUR SHOCKWAVE Remove the magnetic bluetooth cover 1. 2. 3. 4. Withdraw the AUX jack cable [A] and antenna cable [B] from the Shockwave cavity Connect the 2 cables to the Shockwave module, fitting the AUX cable [A] to the larger black connector, and the antenna cable [B]
to the smaller gold connector Slide the unit into the Shockwave cavity until it clips into place and sits flat with the bottom surface of the helmet A B EN. CONNECTING YOUR SPEAKERS 1. 2. 3. Gently release the poppers on the cheek pads and remove them from the helmet Plug the Mic+Speaker cable [A] into the AUX jack port on the left
(as viewed with the helmet as shown) Plug the Speaker-only cable [B] into the AUX jack port on the right A B EN. FITTING YOUR SPEAKERS 1. 2. 3. Attach each of the Shockwave speakers where velcro [A] is located (in the orientation shown in the diagram) Attach the Shockwave Mic where velcro [B] is located to the side of the chin vent (in the orientation shown in the diagram) Carefully re-attach the cheek pads over the top of the speakers and mic B A EN. SHOCKWAVE BASICS Turn On Turn Off Charging Charged Reboot Reset Press the centre button [C] for 1-2 seconds to switch on the Shockwave system, you will hear a Power On message Turn off manually by holding the centre button [C] for 3 seconds, you will hear a Power Off message. The unit will turn off automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity Plug the USB-C cable into the charging port [B], the red
[F] LED will light up indicating that the unit is charging When the device is fully charged the red [F] LED will go out and the blue [E] LED will light up Connect with the USB-C cable to a data or power source. Once the red [F] LED comes on the reboot is complete. Forget All Devices by pressing the centre button [C] for 6 seconds, you will hear All pairing information cleared BLUETOOTH CONNECTION 1. 2. 3. 4. When connecting the Shockwave system to your device for the first time*, hold the ON button** for 3 seconds until you hear Pairing The red [F] and blue [E] LED lights will begin to flash alternatively as the Shockwave looks for a connection to a device From your device, enter the Bluetooth menu and select Ruroc Atlas Shockwave Audio You will hear the message Connected to confirm connection, and the blue [E] LED will flash once periodically while the devices remain paired
*Your Shockwave will automatically connect to a previously connected device
(within range) when powered on.
**If the unit is already on, pressing the Volume down [A] and Volume up [G]
buttons together for 5 seconds will put the unit into pairing mode. EN. INTERCOM DRIVER-PILLION When connecting two Shockwave units for Driver-Pillion Intercom for the first time, put the unit into Bluetooth pairing mode (see Bluetooth Connection section for details) 1. 2. 3. 4. Once in pairing mode, double-press the centre button [C] to enter Intercom pairing mode, you will hear an Intercom Pairing message The red [F] and blue [E] LED lights will begin to blink together as the Shockwave looks for another unit to connect to Repeat steps 1-3 on the second Shockwave unit You will hear the message Intercom Connected to confirm connection, and the red [E] LED will flash once periodically while the devices remain paired AUDIO CONTROL 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. When connected, the Shockwave will automatically play any music that is played on the synced device To skip track forward, double-press the Volume up [G] button To skip track backwards, double-press the Volume down [A]

button EN. MAKE CALLS RECEIVE CALLS 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. If the Shockwave is connected to a phone and a number is dialled it will automatically direct the call through the speakers and activate the microphone When the connected phone has a call incoming the Shockwave will cut any music/intercom audio and the call will ring through speakers To answer an incoming call, press the Volume up [G] button To reject an incoming call, press the centre [C] button To cancel or end a call, press the centre [C] button To call the last dialled number, double-press the Volume down [A]

Please only use accessories and batteries approved by Ruroc. Using other accessories and batteries may damage the product & cause harm. 9. Connecting to other devices: when connecting to other devices, please read the devices instructions carefully for detailed safety instructions & correct product operation. Do not connect incompatible products. EN. ATTENTION 1. Installing equipment on the helmet is a modification of the helmet, which may cause the helmets warranty to fail or hinder the helmets function. This may cause danger in the event of accidents. 2. Before using the Shockwave bluetooth system, please ensure that the product is firmly and correctly installed in the helmet. If the product falls off during riding, it may cause injury or accident. 3. To ensure riding safety, please use this product carefully to avoid serious harm, death or injury. 4. In order to maximise the communication distance, aim to use the system in an open place with clear line of sight. 5. In the case of rain, please keep the device facing down, the USB rubber plug tightly installed during use to prevent water from entering the device. 6. The product contains a 3.7V/500mAh battery that will change with temperature. When the battery is used at low ambient temperature
(below 0C), the battery life of the product may be temporarily reduced, with a risk of permanent damage. 7. If the electronic function fails, please power off and try again. Veuillez prendre soin des piles correctement et ne les laissez pas dans votre poche, votre portefeuille ou votre sac contenant des objets mtalliques. 3. Ne mettez pas la batterie en feu et ne la laissez pas dans un endroit chaud afin dviter une surchauffe, une explosion ou une combustion. 4. Ne dmontez pas, ne soudez pas et ne modifiez pas la batterie. Ne percez pas la batterie avec un objet dur car la batterie pourrait fuir, surchauffer, clater ou prendre feu. 5. Ne retirez pas, ne pressez pas, ne chauffez pas et ne brlez pas la batterie lintrieur du produit. Il est strictement interdit dutiliser des objets pointus, des tournevis ou dautres appareils pour percer ou faire levier sur la batterie. Lopration ci-dessus peut provoquer un incendie ou une brlure de la batterie. 6. Si llectrolyte (liquide) de la batterie pntre dans lil, cela peut conduire la ccit. Si vous projetez llectrolyte (liquide) de la batterie dans vos yeux, ne vous frottez pas les yeux avec les mains. Rincer abondamment leau immdiatement et consulter un mdecin. Si llectrolyte (liquide) de la batterie colle la peau et aux vtements, lavez-les immdiatement avec de leau savonneuse et de leau propre et consultez un mdecin si ncessaire. 7. Ne transfrez pas les batteries dautres produits. Nutilisez pas de chargeurs ou de batteries endommags. Si la temprature de la batterie est trop leve pendant lutilisation, la charge ou le stockage, ou si des phnomnes anormaux tels que dcoloration, dformation, bombement et fuite se produisent dans la batterie, veuillez arrter dutiliser et remplacer la batterie pour viter les problmes de scurit. 8. La batterie nest pas tanche; nutilisez pas et ne chargez pas la batterie dans la cuisine, la salle de bain ou dans des endroits haute temprature et humidit. 9. Veuillez contacter notre service de garantie si vous avez des questions. MONTAGE DU SHOCKWAVE Retirez le couvercle Bluetooth magntique 1. 2. Retirez le cble de la prise AUX [A] et le cble dantenne [B] de la cavit Shockwave. 3. 4. Connectez les 2 cbles au module Shockwave, fixez le cble AUX
[A] au plus grand connecteur noir et le cble dantenne [B] au plus petit connecteur en or. Faites glisser lappareil dans la cavit Shockwave jusqu ce quil se clipse en place et repose plat avec la surface infrieure du casque. A B FR. CONNECTER LES HAUT-PARLEURS 1. 2. 3. Relchez doucement les boutons-pression sur les coussinets de joue et retirez-les du casque Branchez le cble micro + haut-parleur [A] dans le port de prise AUX sur la gauche (comme vu avec le casque comme illustr) Branchez le cble de haut-parleur uniquement [B] dans le port de prise AUX sur la droite. Fixez chacune des enceintes Shockwave lemplacement du velcro [A] (dans lorientation indique sur le schma) Fixez le Shockwave Mic lendroit o le velcro [B] est situ sur le ct de lvent du menton (dans lorientation indique sur le schma). Remettez soigneusement les coussinets de joue sur le dessus des haut-parleurs et du micro B A FR. (double clic) FR. SHOCKWAVE LES BASES Allumer teindre Charger Appuyez sur le bouton central [C] pendant 1 2 secondes pour allumer le systme Shockwave, vous entendrez un message Power On teignez manuellement en maintenant le bouton central [C]
pendant 3 secondes, vous entendrez un message teindre. Lunit steindra automatiquement aprs 5 minutes dinactivit Branchez le cble USB-C dans le port de charge [B], la LED rouge [F] sallumera pour indiquer que lunit est en charge Lorsque lappareil est compltement charg, la LED rouge [F]
steint et la LED bleue [E] sallume Charg Lorsque lappareil est compltement charg, la LED rouge [F]
steint et la LED bleue [E] sallume Redmarrer Rinitialiser Connectez avec le cble USB-C une source de donnes ou dalimentation. Une fois que le voyant rouge [F] sallume, le redmarrage est termin. Oubliez tous les appareils en appuyant sur le bouton central [C] pendant 6 secondes, vous entendrez Toutes les informations de couplage effaces CONNECTION BLUETOOTH 1. 2. 3. 4. Lorsque vous connectez le systme Shockwave votre appareil pour la premire fois *, maintenez le bouton ON ** pendant 3 secondes jusqu ce que vous entendiez Pairing Les voyants LED rouge [F] et bleu [E] commenceront clignoter alternativement pendant que Shockwave recherche une connexion un appareil. Depuis votre appareil, accdez au menu Bluetooth et slectionnez Ruroc Atlas Shockwave Audio Vous entendrez le message Connect pour confirmer la connexion, et le voyant bleu [E] clignotera une fois priodiquement pendant que les appareils restent appairs
* Votre Shockwave se connectera automatiquement un appareil prcdemment connect ( porte) lors de la mise sous tension.
** Si lappareil est dj allum, appuyer simultanment sur les boutons de diminution du volume [A] et daugmentation du volume [G] pendant 5 secondes le mettra en mode dappairage. FR. INTERCOM CONDUCTEUR-PASSAGER 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Lorsque vous connectez deux units Shockwave pour linterphone conducteur-passager pour la premire fois, mettez lunit en mode de couplage Bluetooth (voir la section Connexion Bluetooth pour plus de dtails) Une fois en mode de couplage, appuyez deux fois sur le bouton central [C] pour entrer en mode de couplage Intercom, vous entendrez un message Couplage Intercom Les voyants LED rouge [F] et bleu [E] commenceront clignoter ensemble lorsque le Shockwave recherche une autre unit laquelle se connecter. Rptez les tapes 1 3 sur la deuxime unit Shockwave Vous entendrez le message Intercom connect pour confirmer la connexion, et la LED rouge [E] clignotera une fois de temps en temps pendant que les appareils restent appairs CONTRLE AUDIO 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Une fois connect, le Shockwave lira automatiquement toute musique joue sur lappareil synchronis pour sauter la piste vers lavant, appuyez deux fois sur le bouton daugmentation du volume [G]
Pour sauter la piste en arrire, appuyez deux fois sur le bouton de rduction du volume [A]
Pour augmenter le volume, appuyez sur le bouton daugmentation du volume [G] ou maintenez-le enfonc. Pour baisser le volume, appuyez sur le bouton de rduction du volume [A] ou maintenez-le enfonc Pour lire et mettre en pause la musique, appuyez sur le petit bouton lecture / pause [D]
FR. APPELER RECEVOIR DES APPELS Si le Shockwave est connect un tlphone et quun numro est compos, il dirigera automatiquement lappel via les haut-parleurs et activera le microphone. Lorsque le tlphone connect reoit un appel entrant, Shockwave coupera toute musique / audio dinterphone et lappel sonnera travers les haut-parleurs. Pour rpondre un appel entrant, appuyez sur le bouton daugmentation du volume [G]
Pour rejeter un appel entrant, appuyez sur le bouton central [C]
pour annuler ou mettre fin un appel, appuyez sur le bouton central [C]
Pour appeler le dernier numro compos, appuyez deux fois sur les boutons de rduction du volume [A] et daugmentation du volume [G] en mme temps *
Si votre tlphone prend en charge la fonction de numrotation / commande vocale, appuyez simultanment sur les boutons de rduction du volume [A]
et daugmentation du volume [G] * pour activer. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7.

Arrtez-vous proximit dappareils mdicaux: les hpitaux et les tablissements de soins de sant peuvent avoir des quipements sensibles aux radiofrquences. Veuillez suivre efficacement les rgles et rglementations de toute institution mdicale et teindre le produit si ncessaire. 6. Lutilisation dappareils sans fil bord dun avion peut interfrer avec lavion, veuillez donc teindre lappareil lectronique pendant les vols. 7. Nutilisez pas ce produit proximit dune station-service (station-service) ou dans un lieu de stockage de carburant ou dagents chimiques. 8.
