A: Make sure you have connected the power cable to the back of the ry unit. This needs to be plugged into a standard wall outlet. Wait 1-2 minutes for the system to boot. 2: What should I do if there is no internet coming from the ryfi?
A: Make sure that the main modem in the house has an active internet signal. Make sure that you have the network cable plugged into both the ry and the main internet modem. 3: How do I control the ryfi?
A: Download or update. the latest app appropriate to your mobile device. CAUTION: IF THE LED IS SOLID AND NOT BLINKING, DO NOT UNPLUG YOUR DEVICE! IT NEEDS TO FINISH UPDATING. ryfi Status Light Your ryfi unit has a blue light on the back (aka LED). This light has 4 modes for you to understand its operating status. 1 - OFF - If the LED is off, there is no power to the unit. 2 - SLOW BLINK - If there is a slow blink, that means the device is connected with an active internet signal. 3 - FAST BLINK - if the blinking is fast, that means the device is on but you have no internet connection. 4 - SOLID ON/NO BLINK - CAUTION. The ryfi is updating its firmware, do not power off or it may damage your device.
