Bring the speaker to an authorised service centre for repairs. When using your speaker while driving, follow local regulations in the country or region you are in. Avoid storage at high temperatures (above 50 C/122 F), such as in a hot place or in direct sunlight, as this can damage performance and reduce battery life. Do not expose the speaker or any of its parts to rain or other liquids. Do not use the speaker in humid places or handle it with wet hands. 3 Getting started This section explains the proper use of your Bluetooth speaker. removable. Charge the battery completely before using the speaker for the rst time. Using the charger 1 Open the cover to the charger jack on the top of the speaker. 2 Plug the small end of the charger into the charger jack. E n g l i s h 9 3 Plug the large end of the charger into a power outlet. While the speaker is charging, the icon will appear on the display. 4 When the speaker is fully charged (the icon is no longer moving), unplug the charger from the power outlet and the speaker. When the battery power is low The speaker will emit a warning tone. If the speaker powers off during a call, the call will automatically transfer to your phone. 10 Mounting the speaker in your vehicle 1 Slide the mounting bracket with the slot in the back of the speaker. E n g l i s h 2 Slide the speaker onto a sun visor in your vehicle. 11 Using your speaker This section explains how to turn the speaker on, pair and connect to the phone, and use various functions. Available functions and features may differ depending on your type of phone. Some devices, especially those that are not tested or approved by the Bluetooth SIG, may be incompatible with your speaker. Turning the speaker on or off To turn the speaker on, slide [

You will hear an 12 E n g l i s h Pairing and connecting the speaker Pairing will create a unique and encrypted wireless link between two Bluetooth enabled devices, such as a Bluetooth phone and your Bluetooth speaker. To use the speaker with other Bluetooth devices, the devices must be paired. When trying to pair the two devices, keep the speaker and the phone reasonably close together. After pairing, you can connect the two devices. Pairing and connecting the speaker to a phone 1 To enter Pairing mode, press and hold [

When you turn on the speaker, it automatically enters Pairing mode. 2 Activate the Bluetooth feature on your phone and search for the speaker (see your phones user manual). 3 Select the speaker (BSP1000) from the list of devices found by your phone. 13 4 Enter the Bluetooth PIN (0000, 4 zeros) to pair and connect the speaker to your phone. Your speaker supports the Simple Pairing feature which allows the speaker to be paired with a phone without requesting a PIN. This feature is available for phones that are compliant with Bluetooth version 2.1 or higher. Disconnecting the speaker To disconnect the speaker from your phone, Slide [

Your speaker will work with devices that support the same Bluetooth version and proles. For specications, see page 28. Why do I hear static or interference while on a call?
Appliances such as cordless phones and wireless networking equipment may cause interference, which usually sounds like static. To reduce any interference, keep the speaker away from other devices that use or produce radio waves. 24 Will my speaker interfere with my radio or computer?
