1 2 Grant CommentsC2PC to allow use in specific tablet PC (Samsung Model XE500T1C, FCC ID:A3LXE500T1C-N) with portable rf exposure conditions and collocation with WLAN and Bluetooth transceiver. The erp for operations in the 704-716MHz and 824-849MHz bands are 0.070W and 0.050W respectively. The eirp for the 1710-1755MHz and 1850-1910MHz bands are 0.264W and 0.238W respectively. Output power listed is conducted. End-Users must be provided with transmitter operation conditions for satisfying RF exposure compliance. Grantee shall insure that the end user has no instructions to remove or install this module. SAR compliance for host-specific portable use conditions has been evaluated as described in this permissive change filing; the highest reported SAR values for body and product specific (hot spot) exposure conditions are 1.28 W/kg and 1.28 W/Kg respectively. This device is authorized for use only as a part of the specific system configuration; use in other or modified configurations, if any, requires application filing for Class II permissive change or new FCC ID.
1 2 Power out is conducted at the antenna terminal. This device is to be used only for mobile and fixed application. The antenna(s) used for this transmitter must be installed to provide a separation distance of at least 20 cm from all persons and must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter, except in accordance with FCC multi-transmitter evaluation procedures as documented in this filing. End-Users must be provided with transmitter operation conditions for satisfying RF exposure compliance. OEM integrators must insure that the end user has no manual instructions to remove or install this module (EM7700). For mobile and fixed operating configurations the antenna gain, including cable loss, must not exceed 9.0 dBi at 1900 MHz, 9.5 dBi at 850 MHz, 9.0 dBi at 700 MHz and 6 dBi at 1700 MHz as defined in 2.1091 for satisfying RF exposure compliance. Under no conditions may an antenna gain be used that would exceed the ERP and EIRP power limits as specified in Part 22, 24 and 27. The Grantee is responsible for providing the documentation required for modular use.
