Installing batteries
. Position the radio face down on a soft surface.
. Remove the catch as shown and lift out the battery cover. 3. Insert x D size/UM-/LR0 batteries. 4. Replace the battery cover and catch. 5. Reduced power, distortion, a stuttering sound are all signs that the batteries may need replacing. The batteries should be replaced when the battery indicator flashes and E shows in the display. 6. If the radio is not to be used for any extended period of time, it is recommended that the batteries are removed from the radio. 3 Using the AC adaptor ( not supplied )
. Remove the rubber cover of DC in socket on the left hand side of your radio.
. Insert the adaptor plug into the DC socket. GB 3. Plug the adaptor into mains socket outlet. Whenever the adaptor is used, the batteries are automatically disconnected. The AC adaptor should be disconnected from the mains supply and the radio when not in use. Note:
For safety purpose, DO NOT use AC adaptor in the shower room. Use the batteries only. Setting the clock
. The clock will start running when the batteries are installed or when the radio is connected to the mains supply. The display will show - : - - .
. The time can be set with your radio switched off or on. 3. Press and hold down the Time Set button for approx. 2 seconds until the hours digits flash in the display with a beep. 4. Press the Tuning Up/Down buttons to set the required hour. 5. Press the Time Set button, the minute digits will flash in the display. 6. Press the Tuning Up/Down buttons to set the required minute. 7. Press the Time Set button to complete time setting. The second will start to count. 4 Operating your radio Your radio is equipped with three tuning methods Manual Tuning, Search tuning and Memory preset tuning. Manual Tuning
. Press the Power button to turn on the radio.
. Select the required waveband by repeatedly pressing the Band button. For FM waveband, pull out and extend the FM wire antenna located in the battery compartment to get best reception. For MW (AM) waveband, rotate the radio for best reception. 3. A single press on either Tuning up or Tuning down buttons will change the frequency in the following increments:
FM: 00 or 00 kHz (USA version) 50 or 00 kHz (standard version) AM (MW): 9 or 0 kHz 4. When the waveband end is reached, the radio will continue tuning from the opposite waveband end. 5. Press the Volume Up/Down buttons to the required level. 6. To switch off your radio, press the Power button. The display will show OFF. 5 Search tuning
. Press the Power button to turn on the radio.
. Press the Band button to get required waveband, then extend and position telescopic aerial (FM) or rotate the radio (AM). GB 3. Press and hold down either Tuning up or Tuning down buttons for more than 0.5 seconds to commerce Search tuning. 4. The radio will search and stop automatically when it finds a station of sufficient strength. 5. When the waveband end is reached, the radio will continue tuning from the opposite waveband end . 6. Press the Volume Up/Down buttons to the required level. 7. To switch off your radio, press the Power button. The display will show OFF. 6 Memory preset tuning Storing stations in preset memories There are 5 presets for each waveband (FM/FM/AM/WX).
. Press the Power button to turn on the radio.
. Tune to the required station using one of the methods previously described. 3. Press and hold down required preset until the radio beeps (more than seconds). The preset number will appear with a M (memory) and the station will be stored under the chosen preset button. 4. Repeat the procedures for the remaining presets. 5. Stations stored in preset memories may be overwritten by following the above procedures. 7 Recalling preset stations
. Press the Power button to turn on the radio.
. Select the required waveband by pressing the Band button. GB 3. Momentarily press the required Preset button, the preset number and station frequency will appear in the display. Software version The software display cannot be altered and is just for your refer-
ence.
. Turn off the radio.
. Press and hold the Preset button 3 for seconds until the software version number (e.g. P0) shown on the display. Setting Tuning step 3. Continue pressing the Preset button 3 and you will hear a beep. The display will switch to tuning step setting. Press the Tuning up/down button to choose the desired FM tuning step (50 kHz or 100 kHz) and press the Preset button 3/step button to confirm the setting. 4. After the confirmation of FM tuning step, press the Tuning up/down button to choose the desired AM tuning step (9kHz or 0 kHz) and press the Preset button 3/step button to confirm the setting. 8 Weather alert system The weather alert function on the radio can alert you to special weather related emergencies. During an emergency or weather-
related hazard, NOAA issues an emergency tone that will set off an audible and/ or visual alarm on the radio. Note:
Hazard warnings are not available in all areas. There are 7 stan-
dard NOAA weather channels used in the US and Canada. The ra-
dio receives broadcasts up to 40 miles from transmitting stations.
. To listen to the standard NOAA weather channels, turn on the radio and extend the FM wire antenna located in the battery compartment to get better reception. Then press the Band button until WX shows on the display.
. The channel number of the weather station is shown on the display. Press the Tuning up/ down button to select the programmed channels. There should be one or more weather service stations broadcasting in your local area. You will hear a report that is updated usually once or more per day for your area. If there is a severe weather or weather-related emergency, NOAA will update weather broadcast more frequently. If there is a weather emergency, the NOAA will issue an alert tone. 9 Setting the weather alert
. Following the steps above to tune the required weather station.
. Press and release the Alert button to activate the weather alert mode. will show on the display. If NOAA issues a weather related emergency, the radio will automatically alert you with a siren continuing for 15 seconds and a flashing light on the right hand side of the unit. After 5 seconds of siren, your radio will return to normal broadcasting for minutes. Then your radio will be put into weather alert standby mode. GB Note:
. When the radio is set to weather alert mode, all the buttons on the front panel will be invalid.
. When the siren is active, press any button on the radio instantly turns the radio to the weather broadcasting and cancel the siren. Then press the Power button to return to weather alert standby mode. Turning off the weather alert Press and release the Alert button to turn off the weather alert. Your radio will then be back to standby mode.
0 Listening to Bluetooth music You need to pair your Bluetooth device with your radio before you can auto-link to play/stream Bluetooth music through your H0. Paring creates a permanent `bond' so two devices can always rec-
ognize each other. Pairing your Bluetooth device
. Press the Band button to select Bluetooth function. The Bluetooth icon on the panel will flash with every 3 seconds interval.
. Activate Bluetooth on your device according to the device's user manual to allow the paring procedure. With some mobile, you may need to input the pass code 0000. 3. Press and release the Pair button on your H0. Now the Bluetooth icon will flash with 1 second interval. You can start the search of H0 on your Bluetooth device. Once H0 is appeared on your Bluetooth device, press the item in your Bluetooth list and it will link with your H0. 4. Once connected, the Bluetooth icon will remain illuminated. You can now play the music in your Bluetooth-enabled device via H0. Note:
a) If there are Bluetooth devices searching for H0, it will show its availability on both devices. However, if one device links with the H0 first, then the other Bluetooth device won't find the H0 on its list.
b) If your Bluetooth-enabled device is temporarily disconnected to your H0. As long as the disconnection last within 7 minutes, your device can re-connect with your radio again automatically. If the disconnection last more than 7 minutes, then you need to manually reconnect your device again to the radio. Be aware that during the period of disconnection, no other Bluetooth device can pair or link with your radio. GB c) The effective operation range between the docking system and the paired device is approximately 0 meters (30 feet). d) Any obstacle between the system and the device can reduce the operational range. Disconnecting your Bluetooth device Press and hold the Pair button for 4-5 seconds to disconnect with your Bluetooth device. The Bluetooth icon will then start to flash in-
dicating deactivation of Bluetooth. Sleep function Auto Off The sleep timer will automatically switch off your radio after a pre-
set time has elapsed.
. Press and continue to hold down the Power button, the display will cycle through the available sleep times in the order 50-40-30-0-
0-60-50 Release the button when the required sleep time appears in the display. Display will appear AUTO OFF and radio will play the last station selected.
. To cancel the sleep function, press the Power button, the AUTO OFF will disappear and the radio will switch off.
Nap timer (short timer) You can set the Nap timer (short timer) either radio is on or off. Press Nap timer button , display will appear and flash last nap timer time. Press Tuning up/down button to select required nap timer time, press Nap timer button again to complete setting. Nap timer will start to count by second, display will show and re-
maining nap timer time (when radio is off). The buzzer will sound for 3 minutes when it reaches the period of time which you have set. Press Power button to turn the buzzer off. To turn off the Nap timer before the time is up, simply press and re-
lease the Nap timer button. will disappear from display. You can also memory the nap timer time by long pressing Preset
-5 button for the timer time you require (same procedures you store the station) and recall it whenever you need to set timer. e.g. you can store 0 minutes timer in preset and 0 minutes timer in preset , so each time after you need to select short timer time, press short timer button then preset to get 0 minutes timer and preset to get 0 minutes timer and so on. Factory reset If you wish to completely reset your radio to its initial state this may be performed by following this procedure. By performing a factory reset, all user entered settings will be erased. Press and hold Preset 5 button and the Band button together until dEF shown on the display followed by an beep. Now the factory reset is completed.
3 Display backlight The display backlight will be switched on for approximately 5 sec-
onds when any button is pressed. Emergency buzzer GB To activate Emergency buzzer, press and hold Emergency buzzer button . Press and release the button again to switch off the buzzer. Torch Press to release the torch button to turn on the torch. Note:
The torch wont turn off automatically. To turn off the torch, press torch button again. Multi-purpose handle Using the multi-purpose handle, you may hang or carry the radio when not used in bathroom.

0 Installer les piles
. Positionnez la radio face vers le bas sur une surface souple.
. Retirez le cache comme indiqu et soulevez le couvercle de piles. 3. Insrez piles D taille/UM-/LR0. 4. Remettez le couvercle de piles et le cache. 5. La puissance rduite, la distorsion, un son bgayant sot els signes que les piles ont besoin dtre changes. Les piles devraient tre remplaces lorsque lindicateur clignote et que E saffiche. 6. Si la radio nest pas utilise pendant une longue priode, il est recommand de retirer les piles de la radio.
Utiliser un adaptateur AC (non fourni)
. Retirez le couvercle en plastique de la prise DC sur le ct gauche de la radio.
. Insrez la prise dadaptateur dans la prise DC. 3. Branchez ladaptateur dans la prise de courant. Lorsque ladaptateur est utilis, les piles sont automatiquement dconnectes. F Ladaptateur AC devrait tre dconnect de la prise de courant et de la radio lorsquil nest pas utilis. Note:
Pour des raisons de scurit, NE PAS utiliser ladaptateur AC dans la salle de bain. Nutilisez que les piles. Rgler lhorloge
. Lhorloge va commencer fonctionner lorsque les piles sont installes ou lorsque la radio est connecte une prise de courant. Lcran affichera - : - - .
. L'heure peut tre rgle votre radio allume ou teinte. 3. Appuyez et maintenez le bouton Rglage dheure pendant approximativement secondes jusqu ce que les chiffres clignotent sur lcran avec un bip. 4. Appuyez sur les boutons de rglage Haut/Bas pour rgler lheure. 5. Appuyez sur le bouton Rgler lheure, les chiffres des minutes vont clignoter sur lcran. 6. Appuyez sur les boutons de rglage Haut/Bas pour rgler les minutes. 7. Appuyez sur le bouton Rgler lheure pour terminer le rglage de lheure. Les secondes vont commencer dcompter.
Faire fonctionner votre radio Votre radio est quipe de trois mthodes de rglage de frquence Rglage manuel, Recherche de frquence et Mmoire program-
me de frquence. Rglage manuel
. Appuyez sur le bouton marche pour allumer la radio.
. Slectionnez la bande de frquence en appuyez de faon rptitive sur le bouton de plage radio. Pour une frquence FM, tirez et tendez lantenne fil localise dans le compartiment pile pour obtenir la meilleure rception possible. Pour une frquence MW (AM), tournez la radio pour une meilleure rception. 3. Une simple pression sur les boutons de rglage haut ou bas changera la frquence dans les progressions suivantes:
FM: 00 ou 00 kHz (version USA) 50 ou 00 kHz (version standard) AM (MW): 9 ou 0 kHz 4. Lorsque le bout de la bande de frquence est atteint, la radio continuera rgler vers lautre extrmit de la bande de frquence. 5. Appuyez sur les boutons Volume Haut/Bas au niveau requis. 6. Pour teindre la radio, appuyez sur le bouton Marche. Lcran affichera OFF.
3 Recherche de frquence
. Appuyez sur le bouton Marche de la radio.
. Appuyez sur le bouton plage radio pour obtenir la bande de frquence dsire, puis tendez et positionnez lantenne tlescopique (FM) ou tournez la radio (AM). F 3. Appuyez et maintenez sur les boutons rglage haut ou bas pendant plus de 0.5 secondes pour commencer la recherche de frquence. 4. La radio recherchera et sarrtera automatiquement lorsquelle trouvera une station puissance suffisante. 5. Lorsque vous atteignez le bout de la bande de frquence, la radio continuera partir de lextrmit de la bande de frquence oppose. 6. Appuyez sur les boutons Volume Haut/Bas pour atteindre le niveau dsir. 7. Pour teindre votre radio, appuyez sur le bouton Marche. Lcran affichera OFF.
4 Mmoire programme de frquence Stocker des stations radio dans les mmoires de programmation Il existe 5 programmes pour chaque bande de frquence (FM/FM/
AM/WX).
. Appuyez sur le bouton Marche de la radio.
. Rglez sur la station dsire en utilisant une des mthodes dcrites prcdemment. 3. Appuyez et maintenez le programme dsir jusqu ce que la radio bipe (plus de secondes). Le numro de programme apparatra avec un M (Mmoire) et la station sera stocke sous le bouton de programme choisi. 4. Rptez les procdures pour les programmes restants. 5. Les stations stockes dans les mmoires de programmation peuvent tre remplaces en suivant la procdure prcdente.
5 Rappeler les stations programmes
. Appuyez sur le bouton Marche pour allumer la radio.
. Slectionnez la bande de frquence dsire en appuyant sur le bouton plage radio. F 3. Appuyez momentanment sir le bouton de programmation dsir, le numro du programme et la frquence de la station, apparatront lcran. Version du logiciel La version du logiciel ne peut tre change, cette fonction est pour votre rfrence uniquement.
. Eteignez la radio.
. Maintenez la touche Prslection 3 appuye pendant secondes jusqu' ce que le numro de version du logiciel (ex: P01) s'affiche sur l'cran. Rgler les incrments de rglage 3. Continuez d'appuyer sur la touche prslection 3 et vous entendrez un bip. L'cran passera la configuration des incrments de rglage. Appuyez sur Rglage +/- pour slectionner l'incrment de rglage de votre choix (50 kHz ou 00 kHz) de votre choix et appuyez sur la touche Preset 3/step pour confirmer le paramtre. 4. Apres la confirmation des incrments de rglage FM, appuyez sur la touche Rglage+/- pour choisir l'incrment de rglage AM de votre choix (9 kHz ou 0 kHz) et appuyez sur la touche Preset 3/step pour confirmer le paramtre.
6 Systme d'alerte mto La fonction d'alerte mtorologique sur la radio peut vous alerter en cas d'urgence spciales relatives la mto. Lors d'une urgen-
ce ou d'un danger li la mto, NOAA met une tonalit d'urgen-
ce qui dclenchera une alarme audible et / ou visible sur la radio. Remarque:
Les avertissements de danger ne sont pas disponibles partout. Il y a 7 canaux mto NOAA standards utiliss aux USA et au Canada. La radio reoit des programmes jusqu' 40 miles depuis les sta-
tions de transmission.
. Pour couter les canaux mto NOAA standards, allumez la radio et tendez l'antenne fil situe dans le compartiment de piles pour obtenir une meilleure rception. Puis, appuyez sur la touche Bande jusqu' ce que WX s'affiche sur l'cran. 2. Le numro de chaine de la station mto s'affichera sur l'cran. Appuyez sur la touche Rglage +/- pour choisir les canaux programms. Il devrait y avoir une ou plusieurs stations de mto diffuse dans votre zone gographique. Vous entendrez un rapport mis jour une fois par jour en gnral pour votre zone gographique. En cas de condition mtorologique grave ou d'urgence lie la mto, NOAA mettra jour les bulletins mto plus frquemment. En cas d'urgence mto, la NOAA mettra une tonalit d'alerte.
7 Rgler l'alerte mto
. Suivez les tapes dcrites plus haut pour rgler les stations mto de votre choix. 2. Appuyez brivement sur la touche pour activer le mode d'alerte mto. s'affichera sur l'cran. Si NOAA met une urgence relative la mto, la radio vous alertera automatiquement avec une sirne continue pendant 15 secondes et une lumire clignotante sur le ct droit de l'unit. Aprs 15 secondes de sirne, votre radio retournera la diffusion normale pendant minutes. Alors, votre radio se mettra en mode veille pour l'alerte stro. F Remarque:
. Lorsque la radio est rgle en mode alerte radio, toutes les touches du panneau frontal seront dsactives. 2. Lorsque la sirne est active, appuyez sur n'importe quelle touche sur la radio fera instantanment passer la radio en diffusion de station mto et annulera la sirne. Appuyez sur la touche Alimentation pour revenir au mode veille de l'alerte mto. teindre l'alerte mto Appuyez brivement sur la touche Alerte pour teindre l'alerte m-
to. Votre radio retournera alors en mode veille.
8 couter de la musique par Bluetooth Vous devez coupler votre appareil Bluetooth avec votre radio avant de pouvoir relier automatiquement pour lire / tlcharger de la mu-
sique par Bluetooth sur votre H0. Le couplage cre un lien permanent permettant aux deux appareils de se reconnaitre mu-
tuellement. Coupler votre appareil Bluetooth
. Appuyez sur la touche Band pour slectionner la fonction Bluetooth. Licne Bluetooth sur lcran se mettra clignoter par intervalles de 3 secondes.
. Activez le Bluetooth sur votre appareil conformment au manuel dinstruction pour dmarrer la procdure de couplage. Avec certains mobiles, vous aurez peut-tre saisir le mot de passe 0000 3. Appuyez et relchez la touche Pair de votre H0. A prsent licne Bluetooth clignotera par intervalles dune seconde. Vous pouvez dmarrer la recherche du H0 sur votre appareil Bluetooth. Une fois que le H0 est apparu sur votre appareil Bluetooth, appuyez sur llment dans votre liste Bluetooth et le lien seffectuera avec votre H0. 4. Une fois connect, licone Bluetooth restera allume. Vous pouvez dsormais lire de la musique sur votre appareil avec fonction Bluetooth via le H0. Remarque:
a) Sil ya deux appareils Bluetooth en recherche du H0, il indiquera sa disponibilit sur les deux appareils. Cependant, si un appareil se connecte avec le H0 en premier, alors lautre appareil Bluetooth ne trouvera pas le H0 sur sa liste.
9 b) Si votre appareil avec fonction Bluetooth est temporairement dconnect de votre H0. Aussi longtemps que la dconnexion ne dure pas plus de 7 minutes, votre appareil peut se reconnecter sur votre radio de nouveau automatiquement. Si la dconnexion dure plus de 7 minutes, alors vous devrez reconnecter manuellement votre appareil sur la radio. Soyez conscient que pendant la priode de dconnexion, aucun autre appareil Bluetooth ne peut se coupler ou se connecter avec votre radio. . Para escuchar los canales NOAA estndar, encienda la radio y extienda la antena de cable FM que se encuentra en el compartimento de las pilas para obtener una mejor recepcin. A continuacin, pulse el botn Band hasta que WX se muestre en el display.

5 segundos y una luz intermitente en la parte derecha de la unidad. Una vez transcurridos esos 5 segundos, su radio volver a retransmitir normalmente durante minutos. Entonces su radio pasar al modo de espera de alerta meteorolgica. E Nota:
