iSB02_2017_QSG_v4 3 8 Sensor Placement and Operation When placing your leak sensors:
Ensure the leak detection probes are placed face down in a location that may experience water ow early. This may be a low point in a basement, in or near a sump pump, behind a washing machine, near sinks, toilets, hot water heaters, etc. The goal is to notify you of unexpected water as soon as possible. The secondary detection probe provides an extra point for leak monitoring and is placed in an area near the main probe (for example, main probe under sink, extension probe under toilet). Please use the included cable clasp to ensure that the detection probe remains face down. Remove the backing from the double-stick tape and press down on a clean, smooth surface. Your sensor is equipped with a loud buzzer that will sound any time liquid is detected. You may press the action button on your sensor to silence the buzzer and acknowledge the warning. Note: The product is intended for early leak detection and is not intended to be submerged in water at any time. 4 9
