Cassette Compartment Door 7 SETUP & BASIC OPERATION Essential Setup 1. Unpack the unit and remove all packaging materials. 2. Place the unit on a flat and level surface. The selected location should be stable and free from vibration. 3. Plug the power adaptor into the electrical outlet and connect other end to the back of the unit. 4. Extend the FM antenna. While in FM mode, tune in an FM station and extend the antenna to find a position for the best reception. This antenna may need to be repositioned if you move your unit to a new location Insert L pin and R pin of an RCA cable into these two sockets, then other end into an outer speaker (if you want use your speaker).

Power Socket Plug the small end of the power adapter into this socket, the other end to an AC wall socket. To Open Turntable Cover:

1. Lift the turntable cover all the way up until it stops. 2. Lower the cover slowly until the latch engages. If the latch does not engage, pull the lower bar by hand. 3. The cover will now stay open. To Close Turntable Cover:

1. Lift the cover all the way up until it stops. 2. The latch should disengage and you may now slowly lower the cover. If the latch does not disengage, push out the lower bar by hand. 3. Make sure you hold the cover to avoid pinching your fingers as it closes. 8 LISTENING TO A CD 1. Turn the unit ON by pressing the POWER button. 2. Set the FUNCTION KNOB to CD position. "--" blinks for a few seconds. When no disc is loaded, "no" appears on the display. 3. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button ( ). 4. Place a disc on the tray with the printed label face up. Never place more than one disc on the tray. The disc must be placed in the center of the disc tray. If the disc is not correctly loaded, it may not be possible to open the tray again once it has closed. Do not force the tray by hand when opening and closing. 5. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button ( ) to close the tray. 6. The CD starts to play automatically after few seconds and the PLAY indicator will light up in red. Disc playback starts from the first track. During playback, the track currently playing is displayed. 7. Turn the VOLUME KNOB to adjust the volume. To PAUSE playback: Press the PLAY/PAUSE button ( ) during playback. To STOP playback: Press the STOP button ( ) to stop playback. To SKIP to the next or previous track:

To exit this function, press the STOP/PAIR button twice, or rotate the Function Knob to switch to another playback mode, and then back to CD mode again. 9 LISTENING TO AN AUX SOURCE Playing via 3.5mm AUX-IN Jack on the Front of Unit:

1. Turn the unit ON by pressing the POWER button 2. Set the FUNCTION KNOB to the AUX position. 3. Connect the 3.5mm AUX-IN cable (included) into the 3.5mm Headphone jack or AUX OUT Jack of an external audio source, such as CD player, tablet, MP3 player. And the other end to Aux In jack on this unit. LISTENING VIA EXTERNAL DEVICES LINE-OUT Jacks on the Back of Unit:

You can connect other stereo speaker system to this unit. 1. Connect the external source with an RCA cable (NOT included). One ends to the L/R Jacks on the back of this unit, the other ends to the same labelled jacks on external speaker system. 2. Make sure connect the white plug to white jack (left) and the red plug to the red jack (right). 3. Turn on the connected speaker system (and select LINE IN on the speaker system if needed);

then play your favorite songs on the unit. LISTENING TO THE RADIO 1. Turn the unit ON by pressing the POWER button. 2. Set the FUNCTION KNOB to the FM/ position. 3. Select FM using the switch. 4. Turn the TUNING KNOB to tune to a station. When a stereo station is found, the FM ST/BT indicator will turn on in red. 5. Turn the VOLUME KNOB to adjust the volume. LISTENING TO A CASSETTE TAPE 1. Turn the unit ON by pressing the POWER button. 2. Set the FUNCTION KNOB to the AUX position. 3. To insert a cassette tape, push a tape into the CASSETE TRAY until a "click" is heard. The cassette tape will only fit in one way. Never force a tape in. Playback starts automatically. When the tape reaches the end, playback will stop. 4. Turn the VOLUME KNOB to adjust the volume. To STOP playback and EJECT the tape: Push the TAPE OPERATION BUTTON down until the tape is ejected. To stop playback, you must eject the tape. 10 To fast forward: During playback, press and hold the TAPE OPERATION BUTTON until you find the part you want to listen to. You can also push in the TAPE OPERATION BUTTON about 1/4" (5mm) to start the fast forward operation and press the button again to release it and resume normal speed playback. NOTE: DO not insert an Aux In cable when the cassette is playing, or it will turn to Aux In mode. LISTENING TO A RECORD 1. Before use, completely loosen the TRANSPORTATION SCREW by turning it clockwise with a coin or screwdriver. 2. Detach the stylus guard (white plastic cover). 3. Turn the unit ON by pressing the POWER button. 4. Set the FUNCTION KNOB to the PHONO position. 5. Gently open the dust cover. Be careful not to pinch your finger. 6. Select the speed. 7. Put the record on the turntable. When playing a 45 RPM record, use the included 45 rpm adaptor. 8. Gently push the CLAMPER to the right to release the TONE ARM. clamper 9. Raise the CUE LEVER to lift the TONE ARM off the tone arm support. tone arm cue lever 11 10. Move the TONE ARM gently to the edge of the record (or the starting point of a track). The turntable will begin to turn. 11. Gently lower the TONE ARM by slowly releasing the CUE LEVER. You can lower the TONE ARM manually if the CUE LEVER has not been raised. cue lever 12. Turn the VOLUME KNOB to adjust the volume. 13. When playback has finished, slightly lift the tone arm using the CUE LEVER and return it to the TONE ARM holder. The rotation stops. tone arm Note: Playing records with the dust cover down will prevent dust from settling on the turntable. cue lever 12 LISTENING TO BLUETOOTH You can listen to an external Bluetooth device on the VWRP-3800 built-in speakers. 1. Turn the unit ON by pressing the POWER button. 2. Set the FUNCTION KNOB to the FM/ position. 3. Select

(Bluetooth) using the switch. The FM ST/BT indicator starts blink in blue which indicates the unit is ready to establish the Bluetooth connection. 4. Ensure that the Bluetooth function is activated in your player (e.g. mobile phone). 5. Pair your external Bluetooth device with the "VICTOR VWRP-3800" shown in the list of devices. If prompted, please enter the password "0000" on your device. 6. A beep will be heard and the FM ST/BT indicator turns to solid blue, which indicate the Bluetooth connection is established. 7. Turn the VOLUME KNOB to adjust the volume. Note:

Because of different device manufacturers, models, and software versions, the playback control buttons (Play/Pause, Previous, Next, Stop) on the faceplate will NOT always function when the Wooden Music Center is in Bluetooth mode. Use the control buttons on your external device. Bluetooth Transmitter You can play music on the VWRP-3800 and listen to it on external Bluetooth speakers, stereo, or headphones. 1. Disable the Bluetooth function on all devices nearby (e.g. amplifier, sound bar, wireless headphone, smart phone, iPad). 2. Play music while in CD, FM Radio, Phono, or AUX mode as described above. 3. Press and hold STOP/PAIR Button till the FM ST/BT indicator starts to blink in blue. 4. Power on your Bluetooth device activate its Bluetooth function. 5. After a few seconds, your turntable will connect to your device and the FM ST/BT indicator turns to solid blue. 6. Adjust the volume on your device to desired level. 13 MAINTENANCE Always keep the turntable clean. If the surface of the unit gets dirty, wipe with a soft dry cloth or use a diluted mild liquid soap. Be sure to remove any excess liquid completely. Do not use thinner, benzine or alcohol as they may damage the surface of the unit. Allow the surface of the unit to dry completely before using. Beware of condensation When the unit (or a record/disc) is moved from a cold to warm place, or used after a sudden temperature change, condensation may form; vapor in the air could condense on the internal mechanism, making correct operation erratic or impossible. To prevent this, or if this occurs, leave the unit turned off for one or two hours. The unit will stabilize at the temperature of its surroundings. Using Compact Discs Discs which can be played on this unit:

Conventional audio CD Properly finalized CD-R and CD-RW discs Always place the disc on the disc tray with the label side up. (Compact discs can be played or recorded only on one side.) To remove a disc from its storage case, press down on the center of the case and lift the disc out, holding it carefully by the edges. Should the disc become dirty, wipe the surface radially

(from the center hole outward towards the outer edge) with a soft, dry cloth. Never use such chemicals as record sprays, antistatic sprays or fluid, benzine or thinner to clean the discs. Such chemicals will do irreparable damage to the disc's plastic surface. Discs should be returned to their cases after use to avoid dust and scratches that could cause the laser pickup to "skip."

Do not expose discs to direct sunlight or high humidity and temperature for extended periods. Long exposure to high temperatures will warp the disc. Do not play any disc that is warped, deformed or damaged. Playing such discs may cause irreparable harm to the playing mechanisms. CD-R and CD-RW discs are more sensitive to the effects of heat and ultraviolet rays than ordinary CDs. It is important that they are not stored in a location where direct sunlight will fall on them, and away from sources of heat such as radiators or heat-generating electrical devices. Printable CD-R and CD-RW discs are not recommended, as the label side might be sticky and damage the unit. Do not stick papers or protective sheets on the discs and do not use any protective coating spray. Use a soft oil-based felt-tipped pen to write the information on the label side. Never use a ball-point or hard-tipped pen, as this may cause damage to the recorded side. Never use a stabilizer. Using commercially available CD stabilizers with this unit will damage the mechanisms and cause them to malfunction. Do not use CDs with an irregular shape (octagonal, heart shaped, business card size, etc.). CDs of this sort can damage the unit:

If you are in any doubt as to the care and handling of a CD-R/CD-RW disc, read the precautions supplied with the disc, or contact the disc manufacturer directly. 14 MAINTENANCE Using Cassette Tapes Tape Handling:

Use your finger or a pencil to turn the cassette tape's hub and take up any slack tape. Avoid touching the tape. Fingerprints attract dust and dirt. Avoid dropping or subjecting cassettes to excessive shocks. As C-120 tapes are physically weak and could become entangled in the transport mechanism, do not use them. Do not store tapes in the following places:

On top of heaters, exposed to direct sunlight or in any other places with high temperatures. Near speakers, on TV sets or amplifiers or where they would be exposed to strong magnetic fields. Where humidity is high or in dirty, dusty places. Head Maintenance The head and tape path should be cleaned and demagnetized periodically. Please use a cassette type head cleaning tape and demagnetizer. For specific details on the proper use of either item, please read each item's instruction manual. Maintaining Vinyl Records Do not touch the record's grooves. Only handle records by edges or label. Make sure your hands are clean. Skin oils from even clean hands can leave a residue on the record surface that will gradually deteriorate the quality of your record. Keep your records away from dust. Store in a cool, dry place. Keep records in sleeves and jackets when not in use to avoid dust and scratches. Store records upright on edges. Records stored horizontally will bend and warp. Do not expose records to direct sunlight or high humidity and temperature. Long exposure to high temperatures will warp records. Do not store records in the trunk of a car. Store records in an area with a stable temperature and low humidity. Should the record become dirty, gently wipe surface in a circular motion, using a soft anti-static cloth. How to Replace the Stylus The stylus should last about 50 hours under normal use. However, it is recommended that the stylus be replaced as soon as you notice a change in sound quality. Prolonged use of a worn-out stylus may damage the record. Wear and tear on the stylus will be accelerated when playing 78 RPM records. The higher speed of 78 RPM records can wear the stylus more quickly. Caution:

Do not bend the stylus. To avoid injury, do not touch the needle. Turn off the unit's power before you replace the stylus. Keep out of the reach of children. 15 MAINTENANCE Handle with care, as the stylus is delicate. Use of a bent or broken stylus may damage the record and cause the turntable to malfunction. Do not expose stylus to extreme heat. Contact a qualified repair company if you experience difficulty in changing the stylus. Removing an Old Stylus 1. Set a screwdriver at the tip of the stylus and push down to the direction "A". 2. Pull the stylus out toward direction "B". Installing a New Stylus 1. Hold the tip of the stylus and insert the other edge by pressing toward direction "C". 2. Push the stylus up toward direction "D" until it locks at the tip. 16 TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE In case of trouble with the unit, please look through the problems below and see if you can solve them yourself before calling your dealer. Function Problem Solution Check the connection to the AC power source. Make sure the AC source is not No power a switched outlet and if it is, turn the switch on. Make sure there is power to General Radio No sound The sound has interference Cannot listen to any station or signal is weak Record Player Will not play Sound skips the AC outlet by plugging another item such as a lamp or fan. Adjust the volume The unit is too close to a TV set or similar appliance. Relocate the unit further away from them or turn the other appliances off. Tune in the station properly. If a TV is near the unit, turn it off. Rotate the unit or antenna wire for the best reception position. Turn the VOLUME KNOB clockwise. Loosen the screw and detach the stylus guard. The stylus guard is a white plastic cover that protects the stylus during transportation. Failing to remove this guard will not allow the needle to contact the grooves of the record and no sound will be heard!

If the stylus is worn-out, change the stylus. Select the correct playback speed. Place the unit on a stable surface to avoid vibration and shock. Make sure the unit is level both front to back and side to side. Clean the surface of the record/disc. Do not use scratched, damaged or warped records/discs. Turn the VOLUME knob clockwise, and rotate the FUNCTION KNOB to "CD". CD Player Will not play Load a disc with the playback side facing down. If the disc is dirty, clean the surface of the disc. A blank disc has been loaded. Load a pre-recorded disc. Bluetooth Will not play Cassette Player Button does not work Sound is distorted Depending on the disc, it may not be possible to play back CD-R/CD-RW discs. Try again with another disc. You cannot play back unfinalized CD-R/CD-RW discs. Finalize and try again. Device is NOT paired properly; turn OFF Bluetooth, turn ON Bluetooth and repair device. Insert the cassette tape securely. Clean and demagnetize the heads. Use normal tape. If normal operation cannot be obtained, unplug the power cord from the outlet and plug it again. 17 FCC NOTICE This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Botn de Expulsar Casete / Avance Rpido Y. Puerta del compartimiento del casete 26 OPERACIN BASICA Y AJUSTES Ajustes Esenciales 1. Desempacar la unidad y remover todos los materiales de embalaje. 2. Colocar la unidad sobre una superficie nivelada, estable y libre de vibraciones. 3. Enchufe el adaptador de corriente en el tomacorriente y conecte el otro extremo a la parte posterior de la unidad. 4. Extender y direccionar la antena almbrica de FM. Abrir la cubierta del Tocadiscos:

1. Levantar la cubierta antipolvo hasta llegar al tope. 2. Bajar la cubierta suavemente hasta que los seguros se enganchan. Si el seguro no engancha, jalar la barra inferior del seguro con la mano. 3. La cubierta ahora permanece abierta. Cerrar la cubierta del Tocadiscos:

1. Levantar la cubierta antipolvo hasta llegar al tope. 2. Los seguros se desenganchan, bajar lentamente la cubierta. Si el seguro no engancha, empujar la barra inferior del seguro con la mano. 3. Sujetar la cubierta mientras la baja y no dejarla caer para evitar machucarse los dedos. 27 OPERACIN DEL DISCO COMPACTO 1. Presionar POWER para encender la unidad. 2. Colocar el Selector de Funcin en la posicin de CD. "--" empieza a destellar en la pantalla por unos segundos. SI no hay algn disco cargado, la pantalla despliega NO 3. Presionar OPEN/CLOSE ( ) para expulsar la bandeja del disco. Insertar un disco en la bandeja con la etiqueta hacia arriba. 4. No colocar ms de un disco en la bandeja. El disco debe colocarse sobre el pestillo central de la bandeja. Si el disco no es colocado adecuadamente, puede que no pueda expulsarse la bandeja despus de ingresarla. No forzar la bandeja con la mano al expulsarla o ingresarla. 5. Presionar OPEN/CLOSE ( ) para ingresar la bandeja con el disco. 6. La unida empieza a leer el disco e inicia la reproduccin de la primera pista despus de unos segundos y el indicador de reproduccin se enciende en rojo en la pantalla La reproduccin del disco es desde la primera pista. Durante la reproduccin, la pantalla despliega el nmero de la pista en reproduccin. 7. Girar VOLUME para ajustar el volumen al nivel deseado. Presionar para Iniciar, Pausar o Reanudar la reproduccin. Presionar STOP/PAIR para Detener la reproduccin. Para saltar pistas:

Durante la reproduccin, presionar o para saltar hacia atrs o hacia adelante hasta encontrar la pista deseada. La pista seleccionada se reproduce desde el inicio. Presione el botn MUSIC SKIP para seleccionar la pista que desea; luego comenzar la reproduccin automticamente. (Presione el botn PLAY/PAUSE durante el tiempo de PARADA) Buscar un punto en la pista en reproduccin:

Durante la reproduccin, presionar y sostener o para regresar o avanzar rpidamente en la pista en reproduccin a un punto especifico, al llegar al punto deseado, liberar el botn para regresar a la reproduccin normal. Presionar REPEAT una vez para repetir la reproduccin de la pista actual o presionar dos veces para repetir todas las pistas. Programar la Reproduccin:

En modo Detenido, presionar PROGRAM. La pantalla despliega 01 y el indicador de programa destella en rojo. Presionar o para seleccionar la pista, presionar PROGRAM nuevamente para almacenar la pista en la memoria 01 Repetir el paso anterior para programar las pistas en el orden deseado de reproduccin. Hasta 20 pistas pueden programarse. Despus de finalizar el programa, presionar para Iniciar la reproduccin. El indicador de programa se enciende en rojo. Para salir de la funcin de programa, presionar STOP/PAIR dos veces o colocar el selector de funcin en otra posicin y volver al modo de Disco Compacto. 28 ENTRADA AUXILIAR Reproducir una fuente de audio externa a travs del conector de Entrada Auxiliar de 3.5 mm AUX-IN:

1. Presionar POWER para encender la unidad. 2. Colocar el Selector de Funcin en la posicin de AUX. 3. Insertar un extremo del cable auxiliar (incluido) en el conector de entrada auxiliar AUX IN de la unidad, conectar el otro extremo del cable al conector de salida para audfonos del dispositivo de audio externo, como reproductor de CD, Reproductor MP3, Tableta, etc. SALIDA DE LINEA RCA Salida de Lnea RCA:

Puede conectar un sistema de bocina externo a la unidad 1. Insertar los conectores del cable RCA (no incluido) a los conectores de salida de lnea RCA de la unidad, conectar los otros extremos en los conectores de entrada RAC de lnea o audio del sistema de bocina externo. 2. Verificar los colores de los conectores al insertarlos, conector blanco (izquierdo), conector rojo (derecho). 3. . 3. Colocar el Selector de Modo en FM. 4. Girar TUNING para sintonizar una estacin. Al sintonizar una estacin de FM estreo, el indicador FM ST/BT se encender en rojo. 5. Girar VOLUME para ajustar el volumen al nivel deseado. 29 OPERACIN DEL CASETE 1. Presionar POWER para encender la unidad. 2. Colocar el Selector de Funcin en la posicin de AUX. 3. Insertar un casete en el compartimiento hasta escuchar un clic. El casete solo entra de una forma, no forzar el casete. La unidad inicia automticamente la reproduccin del casete, la reproduccin se detiene cuando la cinta llega al final. 4. Girar VOLUME para ajustar el volumen al nivel deseado. Presionar el botn que se encuentra a lado del compartimiento del casete para detener la reproduccin y expulsarlo. Durante la reproduccin del caset, presionar y sostener el botn que se encuentra a lado del compartimiento del casete para avanzar rpido la reproduccin hasta localizar el punto deseado y soltar. Tambin puede presionar el botn en 5 mm para avanzar rpidamente y presionar nuevamente para liberarlo y volver a la reproduccin normal. NOTA: Durante la reproduccin del caste, no insertar el cable de Entrada Auxiliar en la unidad, la unidad cambiara al modo de Entrad Auxiliar de hacerlo. OPERACIN DEL TOCADISCOS 1. Antes de usar, aflojar completamente el Tornillo de Transporte girndolo en el sentido de la s agujas del reloj con un desarmador. 2. Retirar el protector de la aguja (cubierta de plstico blanca). 3. Presionar POWER para encender la unidad. 4. Colocar el Selector de Funcin en la posicin de PHONO. 5. Abrir suavemente la cubierta antipolvo. Tener cuidado de no machucarse los dedos. 6. Colocar el selector de velocidad en la posicin correcta de acuerdo con el disco a reproducir. 7. Colocar el disco en la base giratoria. Al usar un disco de 45 rpm, usar el adaptador incluido. 8. Suavemente presionar el seguro para liberar el brazo Fonocaptor. SEGURO 30 9. Mover la palanca hacia atrs para levantar el Brazo Fonocaptor del soporte. Brazo Fonocaptor 10. Mover suavemente el Brazo Fonocaptor al borde del disco (o al inicio de una pista deseada). La base del tocadiscos empieza a girar. Palanca 11. Mover la palanca hacia delante para bajar suavemente el Brazo Fonocaptor en el disco. Puede bajar el Brazo Fonocaptor manualmente si la palanca no fue movida hacia atrs. Palanca 12. Girar VOLUME para ajustar el volumen al nivel deseado. 13. Al finalizar la reproduccin, levantar suavemente el Brazo Fonocaptor moviendo hacia atrs la palanca, regresar el Brazo Fonocaptor al soporte. La base giratoria se detiene. Brazo Fonocaptor Palanca Nota: Reproducir discos con la cubierta antipolvo abajo, evitar que el polvo se deposite en el tocadiscos. 31 SINCRONIA BLUETOOTH Sincrona de Entrada Bluetooth Puede escuchar la reproduccin de un dispositivo de audio externo Bluetooth a travs de las bocinas de la unidad 1. Presionar POWER para encender la unidad. 2. Colocar el selector de funcin en la posicin de FM/

. 3. Colocar el selector de modo en la posicin de

(Bluetooth). El indicador FM ST/BT empieza a destellar en azul indicando que la unidad est en modo de sincrona. 4. Asegurarse que la funcin Bluetooth del dispositivo externo esta activada (por ejemplo, Telfono, Tableta, etc.) 5. En el dispositivo externo activar la bsqueda de dispositivos. Seleccionar VICTOR VWRP-

3800 en la lista desplegada. En caso de ser necesario una contrasea, ingresar 0000. 6. Si la sincrona es exitosa, la unidad emitir un beep y el indicador FM ST/BT permanece encendido en azul. 7. Girar VOLUME para ajustar el volumen al nivel deseado. Nota:

Debido a los diferentes fabricantes de dispositivos, modelos y versiones de software, los botones de control de reproduccin (Reproducir/Pausar, Anterior, Siguiente, Detener) en la placa frontal NO siempre funcionarn cuando la unidad est en modo Bluetooth. Use los botones de control en el dispositivo Bluetooth externo. Sincrona de Salida Bluetooth Puede reproducir msica en el centro de msica VWRP-3800 y escuchar la reproduccin en un dispositivo externo como una bocina Bluetooth, Estreo o Audfonos. 1. Deshabilitar la funcin Bluetooth en los dispositivos cercanos (por ejemplo, Amplificador, Barra de sonido, Audfonos, Telfono, etc.). 2. Reproducir msica en los modos de Disco Compacto, Radio FM, Tocadiscos o Entrada Auxiliar como se explic anteriormente. 3. Presionar y sostener STOP/PAIR hasta que el indicador FM ST/BT empieza a destellar en azul. 4. Encender y activar la funcin Bluetooth en el dispositivo Bluetooth externo. 5. Despus de unos segundos la unidad se sincroniza con el el dispositivo Bluetooth externo y el indicador FM ST/BT permanece encendido en azul. 6. Ajustar el volumen al nivel deseado en el dispositivo Bluetooth externo 32 MANTENIMIENTO Mantener siempre limpia la base giratoria. Si la superficie de la unidad se ensucia, limpiar con una tela suave, limpia y seca o usar un jabn lquido suave diluido. Asegrese de eliminar por completo cualquier exceso de lquido. No usar diluyentes, benceno o alcohol, estos pueden daar la superficie de la unidad. Permita que la superficie de la unidad se seque completamente antes de usarla. Cuidado con la condensacin Cuando la unidad (o un disco) se traslada de un lugar fro a uno clido, o se usa despus de un cambio repentino de temperatura, se puede formar condensacin; el vapor en el aire podra condensarse en el mecanismo interno, haciendo que la operacin sea errtica o imposible. Para evitar esto, o si esto ocurre, dejar la unidad apagada durante una o dos horas. La unidad se estabilizar a la temperatura ambiente. Uso de los Discos Compactos Discos que pueden reproducirse en esta unidad:

Discos de audio convencionales. Discos CD-R, CD-RW finalizados adecuadamente. Colocar los discos en la bandeja con la etiqueta hacia arriba (los discos compactos solo pueden grabarse y reproducirse de un lado). Para remover el disco del estuche, presionar en el centro del estuche y levantar el disco, sostener el disco cuidadosamente por los bordes. Si el disco se ensucia, limpiarlo con una tela suave, limpia, seca y libre de pelusa. Limpiar con movimientos rectos del centro hacia afuera, no limpiar con movimientos circulares. Como Remover Disco Como sostener el Disco Como limpiar el Disco No usar productos qumicos como aerosoles para discos, aerosoles antiestticos o fluidos, benceno o diluyentes para limpiar los discos. Dichos productos qumicos daarn irreparablemente la superficie de plstico del disco. Los discos deben devolverse a sus estuches despus de su uso para evitar el polvo y los rayones que podran hacer que el captador lser "salte". No exponer los discos a los rayos directos del sol, humedad y/o temperaturas elevadas durante perodos largos de tiempo. La exposicin prolongada a altas temperaturas deformar el disco. No reproducir ningn disco que est torcido, deformado o daado. La reproduccin de dichos discos puede causar daos irreparables a los mecanismos de reproduccin. Los discos CD-R y CD-RW son ms sensibles a los efectos del calor y los rayos ultravioleta que los discos CD normales. Es importante que no se almacenen en un lugar donde estn expuestos a los rayos directos del sol y lejos de fuentes de calor como radiadores o aparatos elctricos generadores de calor. No se recomiendan el uso de discos CD-R y CD-RW imprimibles, ya que el lado de la etiqueta puede estar pegajoso y daar la unidad. No pegar etiquetas o almohadillas protectoras sobre los discos y no utilice ningn roci de recubrimiento protector. Usar un marcador suave a base de aceite para escribir la informacin en el lado de la etiqueta. No usar una pluma de punta dura, ya que podra daar el lado grabado. No usar un estabilizador. El uso de estabilizadores de discos disponibles comercialmente con esta unidad daar los mecanismos y har que funcionen mal. No usar discos con forma irregular (octogonal, en forma de corazn, tamao de tarjeta de presentacin, etc.). Los discos de este tipo pueden daar la unidad:

33 Si tiene alguna duda sobre el cuidado y manipulacin de un disco CD-R/CD-RW, leer las precauciones proporcionadas con el disco o comunicarse con el fabricante del disco. Uso de los Casete Manejo de los Casetes:

Mantenimiento de las cabezas Las cabezas de reproduccin y grabado, as como los elementos de la ruta de la cinta deben limpiarse y desmagnetizarse peridicamente. Utilizar una cinta limpiadora de cabezas tipo casete y un desmagnetizador. Para obtener detalles especficos sobre el uso adecuado de cualquiera de los elementos, leer el manual de instrucciones de cada elemento. Mantenimiento de los Discos de Vinil No tocar las superficies del disco. Manejar los discos por los bordes o etiquetas. Asegurarse de tenerlas limpias al manipular los discos. Si el disco se ensucia, limpiar suavemente la superficie con movimientos circulares, utilizando una tela antiesttica suave, limpia, seca y libre de pelusa. 34 Cmo reemplazar la cabeza fonocaptora La cabeza fonocaptora debe durar unas 50 horas con un uso normal. Sin embargo, se recomienda reemplazarla tan pronto como note cambios en la calidad del sonido. El uso prolongado de una aguja desgastada puede daar los discos.
