SAR compliance has been established in multiple laptop computer configurations with side USB slot configurations as tested in this filing, and can be used in laptop computers with substantially similar physical dimensions, construction, and electrical and RF characteristics. Compliance of this device in all final portable host configurations is the responsibility of the Grantee. Modular approval for use in mobile devices using external antennas is restricted to OEM installation, must maintain a minimum of 20 cm separation to persons, and employ maximum antenna gains of 5dBi for Cellular and 4dBi for PCS operations. The antenna(s) used for this transmitter must not be co-located or must not operate in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter within a host device. End-users must be provided with specific information required to satisfy RF exposure compliance for all final host devices. The highest reported SAR values are: Part 22 - body 0.785W/kg; Part 24 - body 1.092W/kg.
