Subir volumen English The Bluetooth Car Speakerphone HCB-105 is a quick install wireless speakerphone. Attached to the sun visor, the HCB-105 enables in-car handsfree functionality. This User guide focuses on usage with a Sony Ericsson mobile phone. Charging Before you use the HCB-105 for the first time, charge it with the supplied charger for five hours or until the display light turns green. See picture 3. Pairing the car speakerphone Before you can use your Bluetooth car speakerphone with your phone it has to be paired once with the phone. Follow the instructions in your phone User guide on how to turn on Bluetooth in the phone. For phones that do not support auto pairing, see your phone User guide on how to pair a Bluetooth device. If required, the car speakerphone passcode is 0000. Note: The car speakerphone will automatically enter pairing mode the first time it is turned on. It switches off if you do not pair it with the phone within 10 minutes. After turned on again it will automatically go into pairing mode. To pair the car speakerphone with the phone 1. Turn on Bluetooth in the phone. 2. Turn on Bluetooth visibility in the phone. This makes the phone visible to other Bluetooth devices. 3. Place the phone within 20 cm (8 inches) from the car speakerphone. 4. Make sure the car speakerphone is turned off. Press and hold down for five seconds. 6. 5. The car speakerphone automatically enters pairing mode. The display light flashes red and green. If the phone supports auto pairing, press Yes when Add device? appears in the phone to complete the procedure. If not, see the phone User guide. 7. The car speakerphone beeps and the display light turns green when successfully paired. Note: If the car speakerphone does not enter pairing mode automatically it could already be paired with another phone and you have to perform a master reset. The car speakerphone can only be paired with one phone at a time. After you have paired the car speakerphone with the phone, it will automatically connect to the phone as soon as it is turned on and within range. Note: Make sure that the car speakerphone is placed within 20 cm (8 inches) from the phone for the car speakerphone to automatically reconnect. In the car To use the car speakerphone in the car 1. Attach the clip to the car speakerphone. 2. Fasten the car speakerphone to the sun visor. See picture 4. See picture 5. Note: Make sure that the car speakerphone is properly secured to the sun visor and does not obstruct the drivers view. Turning on and off To turn on the car speakerphone Press and hold down The car speakerphone beeps and the display light turns green. for three seconds. To turn off the car speakerphone Press and hold down for five seconds. The car speakerphone beeps and the display light turns off. Calling When you have paired the car speakerphone with your phone, you can make and receive calls as long as the car speakerphone is turned on and within 10 metres
(33 feet) of the phone, with no solid objects in between. To make a call Use the phone keys, and dial the number in the same way as you normally would with your phone. The call is automatically activated in the car speakerphone. To end a call Press

. Resetting the car speakerphone There are two ways to reset the car speakerphone:
Hardware reset Perform a hardware reset if the car speakerphone behaves unexpectedly. Press for 10-12 seconds. Master reset Perform a master reset if the hardware reset does not work or if you want to pair the car speakerphone with another phone. 1. Turn on the car speakerphone. 2. Simultaneously press and hold down and flashes red and green. See picture 6. 3. Simultaneously press and hold down for three seconds. The display light and speakerphone automatically turns off. for three seconds. The car 4. Pair the car speakerphone with the phone again the same way you paired it for the first time. Troubleshooting No connection to the phone Make sure the car speakerphone is charged and within range of the phone. Check or redo the Bluetooth settings in the phone. Pair the car speakerphone again. The car speakerphone is automatically turned off The battery needs charging. The display light on the car speakerphone turns red and you hear a low beep.
