You can handle incoming and outgoing calls, and adjust the volume, using the buttons on the headset. HBH60_EN.book Page 4 Monday, July 15, 2002 1:29 PM Introduction The Bluetooth headset HBH-60 is a portable headset solution based on Bluetooth wireless technology. See Guidelines for safe and efficient use on page 14 and Limited Warranty on page 15 before using your headset. What is Bluetooth wireless technology?
The Bluetooth wireless technology makes it possible to connect any compatible portable and stationary communications device without using cables. The technology is based on a radio link that offers fast and reliable transmission of voice and data information. It does not require a line-of-sight connection in order to establish communication. Bluetooth wireless technology uses a globally available frequency range intended to ensure communication compatibility worldwide. 4 Introduction HBH60_EN.book Page 5 Monday, July 15, 2002 1:29 PM Headset overview Front Call handling button and indicator light Volume and ring signal up Back Ear hook Charging connector Volume and ring signal down Speaker Microphone Headset overview 5 HBH60_EN.book Page 6 Monday, July 15, 2002 1:29 PM Getting started Before you can use your headset, you must first:
