To remove the battery cover, slide the cover downward from the microphone handle and lift the cover off. 2. Install two new batteries (AA size) in accordance with the instructions located in the battery compartment. Replace the battery cover. 3. The microphone can be tested for operation by pushing the ON/OFF button to the "ON" position and the LED light should light up. TO OPERATE 1. Use any good FM radio. Turn the radio ON and face the radio towards you. Adjust the radio volume to a LOW LEVEL. Place the Microphone near the radio and turn it on. Hold the Microphone cover (2 inches) 5.08cm from your mouth and speak in a normal voice while tuning your FM radio back and forth across the 100 mark on the tuning dial. After the FM radio is tuned to the Microphone, move about (5 feet) 152.4cm away from the radio. Face the radio and speak into the Microphone while someone carefully tunes the radio to the best reception. When using the Microphone at a distance of (10 feet) 304.8cm or more from the radio, it may be necessary to increase the radio volume and carefully tune the radio again for best reception.
