In the Box Expansion Module x1 Power and Communication Cable x1 Introduction The DJI Focus Expansion Module is used to extend the communication distance of the DJI Focus. It is compatible with the Matrice 600 when used with the Ronin-MX or Zenmuse X5/X5R. The DJI Focus Expansion Module can also be used to wirelessly control the Inspire 1 Pro/RAW cameras aperture and focus from 3.1 miles (5 km) away. 1. Antenna 2. Remove the original antenna from the DJI Focus Remote Controller. Do not use the original antenna on the DJI Focus Remote Controller. Instead, use the 5.8 GHz antenna provided with the DJI Focus Expansion Module. 2. Attach the Expansion Module to the DJI Focus Remote Controller as shown, then tighten the lock knob to secure the Expansion Module. 3. When used with the Ronin-MX, connect the Communication Port on the Motor to the LB Port and the P-TAP Port by using the provided Power and Communication Cable. 4. Press and hold the power button on the top of the Expansion Module to power on the DJI Focus Remote Controller, and toggle the power switch up to power on the Expansion Module. Linking The DJI Focus Expansion Module must be linked to the master remote controller of the Matrice 600 or Inspire 1 Pro/RAW in order to work. How to Link 1. Power on the remote controller for the Matrice 600 or Inspire 1 Pro/RAW, and press the C1, C2 and video recording buttons simultaneously. Release the three buttons when you hear a beeping pattern consisting of 1 long beep followed by 2 short beeps, and then press the shutter button once. The remote controller is ready to link when it starts to beep rapidly. 2. Power on the DJI Focus Expansion Module, then (a) press the link button once, or (b) on the DJI Focus Remote Controller, go to Menu > Setting > Connect RC > Connect to begin linking. 3. The linking process is successful when the status indicator turns solid yellow or solid green.
