On/Off Key Battery Cover Speakerphone Key Software Installation In order to use the Polycom CX 400 Cordless Phone, Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 must be installed on your computer. As soon as Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 Client Pair the Handset After the Polycom CX 400 base stand has been connected and the battery has been charged, the handset must be paired. To do this, press and hold the End Call key until the display screen is illuminated. Press and hold the mute button for about three seconds. When the green LED on the base is flashing rapidly, press the Pair button on the back of the base stand. Startup After pairing is complete, Windows will automatically detect the new hardware and configure it for use with the Office Communicator 2007. Polycom CX 400 Quick Start Guide software is installed on your PC, no further software installation is required. Contact your system administrator for any issues related to the OC 2007 client application on your PC.
