(FCC) Declaration of This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the condition that this device does not cause harmful interference. For other devices, they bear the following statement:
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the users authority to operate the equipment. This device has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation if this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
4
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.

Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the users authority to operate the equipment. FCC RF Exposure Information (SAR):
This device is designed and manufactured not to exceed the emission limits for exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy set by the Federal Communications Commission of the United States. During SAR testing, this is set to transmit at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands, and placed in positions that simulate RF exposure in usage near the body with the separation of 10 mm. Although the SAR is determined at the highest certified power level, the actual SAR level of the device while operating can be well below the maximum value. This is because the device is designed to operate at multiple power levels so as to use only the power required to reach the network. In general, the closer you are to a wireless base station antenna, the lower the power output. The exposure standard for wireless employs a unit of measurement known as the Specific Absorption Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit set by the FCC is 1.6W/
kg. Tests for SAR are conducted using standard operating positions accepted by the FCC with the device transmitting at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands. The FCC has granted an Equipment Authorization for this model device with all reported SAR levels evaluated as in compliance with the FCC RF exposure guidelines. SAR information on this model device is on file with the FCC and can be found under the Display Grant section of HYPERLINK

FCC ID: 2ACCJH092 This device is HAC M4/T4 compatible. Reference ANSI C63.19 (2011). 5 For this device, the highest reported SAR value for usage near the body is:
Maximum SAR for this model and conditions under which it was recorded:
Body-worn SAR Head SAR 1.41 W/kg 1.29 W/kg SAR compliance for body operation is based on a separation distance of 10 mm between the device and the human body. During use, the actual SAR values for this device are usually well below the values stated above. This is because, for purposes of system efficiency and to minimize interference on the network, the operating power of your device is automatically decreased when full power is not needed. The lower the power output of the device, the lower its SAR value. Body-worn SAR testing has been carried out at a separation distance of 10 mm. To meet RF exposure guidelines during body-worn operation, the device should be positioned at least this distance away from the body. If you are not using an approved accessory ensure that whatever product is used is free of any metal and that it positions the device the indicated distance away from the body. Organizations such as the World Health Organization and the US Food and Drug Administration have suggested that if people are concerned and want to reduce their exposure they could use a hands-free accessory to keep the wireless device away from the head or body during use, or reduce the amount of time spent on the device. US Information Concerning the Federal CommunicationsCommission
(FCC) Requirements for Hearing Aid Compatibility with Wireless Devices When wireless devices are used near hearing devices (such as hearing aids and cochlear implants), users may detect a buzzing, humming, or whining noise. Some hearing devices are more immune than others to this interference, and wireless devices also vary in the amount of interference that they generate. 7 The wireless telephone industry has developed ratings to assist hearing device users in finding wireless devices that may be compatible with their hearing devices. Not all wireless devices have been rated. Wireless devices that are rated will have the rating displayed on the box together with other relevant approval markings. The ratings are not guarantees. Results will vary depending on the users hearing device and hearing loss. If your hearing device is vulnerable to interference, you may not be able to use a rated wireless device successfully. Consulting with your hearing health professional and testing the wireless device with your hearing device is the best way to evaluate it for your personal needs. This smartphone has been tested and rated for use with hearing aids for some of the wireless technologies that the smartphone uses. However, other wireless technologies may be used in this smartphone that have not been tested for use with hearing aids. It is important to try the different features of your smartphone thoroughly and in different locations to determine if you hear any interfering noise when using this smartphone with your hearing aid or cochlear implant. Consult your wireless service provider about its return and exchange policies, and for information about hearing aid compatibility. How the ratings work M-Ratings: Wireless devices rated M3 or M4 meet FCC requirements and are likely to generate less interference to hearing devices than wireless devices that are not labeled. M4 is the better or higher of the two ratings. T-Ratings: Wireless devices rated T3 or T4 meet FCC requirements and are likely to be more usable with a hearing devices telecoil (T Switch or Telephone Switch) than unrated wireless devices. T4 is the better or higher of the two ratings. (Note that not all hearing devices have telecoils in them.) Hearing devices may also be measured for immunity to this type of interference. Your hearing device manufacturer or hearing health professional may help you find results for your hearing device. The more immune your hearing aid is, the less likely you are to experience interference noise from wireless devices. For more information about the actions that the FCC has taken with regard to hearing aid compatibility with wireless devices and other steps that the FCC has taken to ensure that individuals with disabilities have access to telecommunications services, visit www.fcc.gov/cgb/dro. 8 General information ...........................
