Set-up 2.1 Inserting and removing the SIM card (1) Charging the battery In order to make or receive calls, you must insert your SIM card as illustrated below. Place the SIM card with the bronze colored chip facing downwards and slide it into its housing. Make sure that it is correctly inserted. To remove the card, press the SIM card firmly and slide it out. Please power off your telephone before you remove the SIM card. Installing the battery Connect the battery charger It may take up to 20 minutes during the initial charge for the telephone to powerup. Be careful not to force the plug into the socket. Make sure the battery is correctly inserted before connecting the charger. The AC outlet must be near the telephone and easily accessible. When using your telephone for the first time, charge the battery fully
