STEP 2 - Activate Remote/Button Layout & LED
Activation Tab: Pull tab to activate the remote.
LED - The LED will light with each button press and will also light
in response to button presses during different programming
modes.
STEP 3 - Programming Remote
IMPORTANT: For ID#4 Chamberlain®/LiftMaster®/Craftsman® Yellow Learn Button -
move immediately to the proper section below. For all other ID#s, proceed to LEARN
METHOD section.
LEARN METHOD
Review Chart A to find your specifications and available programming options. Each
button can be programmed individually to operate up to 2 different brands of garage
door openers and gate receivers.
1. Remove activation tab from inside battery compartment.
2. Find and remember the required number of button presses (ID#) in the LEARN
METHOD column next to your brands/specification in Chart A.
REMEMBER: For ID#4 Chamberlain®/LiftMaster®/Craftsman® Yellow Learn Button
ONLY - Move immediately to instructions below. For all other ID#s, proceed to step 3.
3. On remote, press and hold down BOTH buttons at the same time – as soon as the
RED LED begins flashing, immediately release both buttons (@ 5 seconds).
4. On remote, press button of your choice the required number of times from CHART
5. When presses are complete, simply WAIT until the GREEN LED blinks and then goes

1. Remove activation tab from inside battery compartment.

Clearing out the remote
To clear any existing programming from the remote, perform the following:
1. Press and hold down BOTH buttons at the same time – continue holding down
both buttons until the GREEN LED blinks and goes out (@10 seconds).
Installing Visor Clip - Changing Batteries
Visor Clip
Insert visor clip to any of the 4 slots in back of case dependent on
mounting preference.
Change Battery
Remove visor clip and screw from back of remote.
Pry case open with small coin or screwdriver.
Replace battery with CR2032 coin cell.

STEP 1 - Find Specifications & Learn Button
1. Locate the brand and opener/receiver specifications for your device by consulting the label on the
opener/receiver, the instruction manual, the current remote controls for the opener, or the original
manufacturer of the opener/receiver.
2. Find the LEARN/PROG button on your device - shape, color or name of this button could vary by
brand. For garage door openers, be sure to check under the light covers. For commercial or gate
openers, this button may be on the circuit board of the opener. In some cases, this button could
also be on an external receiver that is mounted on or nearby the product. Consult the devices
manual if needed.
*For Marantec® openers, reference operator manual to program remotes to the operator head.

ADVERTENCIA

LED - El diodo emisor de luz (LED) se iluminará cada vez que
se oprima el botón y también se iluminará en respuesta

PASO 3 - Programación del control remoto
IMPORTANTE: Para el botón de aprendizaje amarillo ID#4 de Chamberlain®/
LiftMaster®/Craftsman® - pase inmediatamente a la sección correspondiente aquí

3. En el control remoto, oprima y mantenga oprimidos AMBOS botones al mismo
tiempo - tan pronto como el LED ROJO comience a centellear, suelte ambos
botones inmediatamente (@ 5 segundos).
4. En el control remoto, oprima el botón de su selección la cantidad de veces
requeridas del CUADRO A.
5. Cuando haya terminado de oprimir, simplemente ESPERE hasta que el LED VERDE
comience a pestañar y luego se apague.
6. En el abrepuertas, oprima el botón de aprendizaje/programación, LEARN/
PROGRAM entre 2 y 3 segundos y luego suéltelo.
7. Oprima y suelte el botón que acaba de programar una vez cada 2 segundos hasta
que el abrepuertas de garaje funcione.
8. Pruebe el botón - se ha finalizado la programación.
SUGERENCIA: Permita que la luz del LED en el transmisor universal deje de centellear
antes de oprimir el botón nuevamente.
SÓLO para el botón amarillo de aprendizaje ID#4 de Chamberlain®/LiftMaster®/
Craftsman®:
1. Retire la lengüeta de activación del interior del compartimiento de pilas.
2. En el control remoto, oprima y mantenga oprimidos AMBOS botones al mismo

hasta que el LED VERDE comience a parpadear y se apague nuevamente - luego
suéltelo (@5 segundos).
6. En el abrepuertas, oprima el botón de aprendizaje/programación, LEARN/
PROGRAM entre 2 y 3 segundos y luego suéltelo.
7. Oprima el botón del control remoto que escogió UNA vez. El abrepuertas hará clic.
8. En el abrepuertas, oprima el botón de aprendizaje/programación, LEARN/
PROGRAM nuevamente entre 2 y 3 segundos y luego suéltelo.
9. Oprima el botón del control remoto que escogió UNA vez nuevamente. El
abrepuertas hará clic nuevamente.
10. Oprima el botón del control remoto nuevamente y el abrepuertas se activará.
11. Pruebe el botón - se ha finalizado la programación.
SUGERENCIA: Permita que la luz del LED en el transmisor universal deje de
centellear antes de oprimir el botón nuevamente.

Para borrar la programación actual del control remoto, haga lo siguiente:
1. Oprima y mantenga oprimidos AMBOS botones al mismo tiempo - continúe

Instalación del clip de la visera - Cambio de pilas

Inserte el clip de la visera en cualquiera de las 4 ranuras en la parte
posterior de la caja, en base a su preferencia para la instalación.

Retire el clip de la visera y atornille desde la parte posterior
del control remoto.
Abra la caja con una moneda o destornillador pequeño.
Cambie la pila con una de tipo moneda CR2032.
