No Power Power is not on; press the POWER button to turn power on. Confirm that the batteries are installed correctly. (e.g. iPhone/Tablet/MP3 player, etc.). You can connect your device by using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included). LINE IN function is automatically selected once the audio cable is plugged in. Warning
- To avoid excessive over amplified sound output, it is recommended that the volume control is initially adjusted to one third or less and then increase if required. MICROPHONE CONNECTION Connect the provided microphone into the microphone jack. Ensure that you turn the microphone to the ON position prior to using it. Note:
- Do not drop or tap the microphone as damage to the microphone or speaker may occur.
- Do not twirl the microphone cord as it will cause damage to the encased wiring. YOUR AUDIO DEVICE
(sold separately) POWER ADAPTOR OPERATION Insert the DC plug of the power adaptor into the DC jack on the unit. Plug the other end into a standard AC outlet. CAUTIONS:
- The AC Adaptor has a polarized plug that fits into the wall outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit properly, turn it over and try again. Do not force it. BATTERY OPERATION 1. Switch off the unit and remove the AC power adaptor from the power socket. 2. Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the main unit as shown. 3. Insert eight (8) C size alkaline batteries (not included) as indicated on the right diagram. 4. Replace the cover tightly before operating. CAUTION:
- Replace all batteries at the same time.
- Do not mix old batteries with new batteries. POWER ADAPTOR DC jack LINE IN jack MICROPHONE OR Microphone jack BATTERY PRECAUTIONS The precautions below should be followed when using batteries in this device:
1. Warning Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type. 2. Use only the size and type of batteries specified. 3. Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the batteries as indicated in the battery compartment. A reversed battery may cause damage to the device. 4. Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g. Alkaline, Rechargeable and Carbon-zinc) or old batteries with fresh ones. 5. If the device is not to be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries to prevent damage or injury from possible battery leakage. 6. Do not try to recharge a battery not intended to be recharged; it can overheat and rupture. (Follow the battery manufacturers directions.) 7. Remove the batteries promptly once its charge is low. 8. Clean the battery contact and also those of the device prior to installing the battery. Operation 1 Connect the unit as described previously. Press the POWER button to turn the unit on; the power indicator will light on. USING A BLUETOOTH DEVICE POWER ON OFF u v 2 The Bluetooth pair indicator will blink rapidly to indicate it is in the pairing mode. You may also press and hold the PAIR button to initiate the pairing mode. Switch on the Bluetooth function of your Bluetooth compatible device within three feet of the unit. You will see Mood appear on your devices search list. Select Mood to start pairing. Wait for completion of the pairing and the Bluetooth indicator will light solid. Please always refer to the user manual of your bluetooth device for detailed instructions. Note:
If your Bluetooth device prompts you for a passcode during the pairing process, please enter 0000 to connect. If pairing fails, repeat steps. If you have paired before, a list of previously searched results will be displayed. Select Mood again. On some Bluetooth devices
(i.e.,computers), once pairing is complete, you must select your Bluetooth device as Use as Audio Device or similar. PLAY/PAUSE: Press the Play/Pause button on the Bluetooth device or PAIR button on the unit to start. SING-ALONG WITH LIGHTING EFFECT POWER 3 The light effect will turn on automatically when the power on. By pressing the LIGHT MODE button once, the light effect will change faster, press again to turn light effect off. SING-ALONG WITH LINE IN MUSIC LIGHT MODE 4 Connect the audio device to the LINE IN jack on the side of this unit. It will allow the audio to be played through your unit. - Nchappez ou ne heurtez pas le microphone, car cela pourrait causer des dommages au microphone ou au haut-parleur.
- Ne faites pas virevolter le microphone par le cordon, car cela peut endommager le cblage encastr. VOTRE APPAREIL AUDIO FONCTIONNEMENT AVEC LADAPTATEUR DALIMENTATION Insrez la fiche CC de ladaptateur dalimentation dans la prise CC de lappareil. Branchez lautre extrmit une prise de courant CA standard. ATTENTION :
- Ladaptateur CA est muni dune fiche polarise qui peut seulement tre insre dans un sens dans la prise de courant. Si la fiche ne sinsre pas correctement, retournez-la et ressayez. Ne la forcez pas. FONCTIONNEMENT AVEC DES PILES 1. teignez lappareil et retirez ladaptateur dalimentation CA de la prise de courant. 2. Retirez le couvercle du compartiment des piles larrire de lappareil principal, comme illustr. 3. Insrez huit (8) piles alcalines C (non incluses) de la manire indique dans le schma de droite. 4. Rinstallez le couvercle fermement avant dutiliser lappareil. MISES EN GARDE:
- Remplacez toutes les piles en mme temps.

Prenez les prcautions suivantes lorsque vous utilisez des piles avec cet appareil :
1.Avertissement - Danger dexplosion si les piles sont incorrectement positionnes. Remplacez toujours les piles avec des piles de mme type ou quivalent. 2. Nutilisez que des piles de format et de type spcifi dans le prsent guide. 3. Respectez les polarits indiques dans le compartiment de piles. Une pile inverse risque dendommager lappareil. 4. Ne mlangez pas les piles de types diffrents (exemple : alcalines, rechargeables et carbone zinc) ou les piles uses avec les piles neuves. 5. Si vous ne prvoyez pas utiliser lappareil pendant un certain temps, retirez les piles qui sy trouvent. Cela prviendra tout dommage ou blessure attribuable lcoulement du liquide contenu dans les piles. 6. Ne tentez pas de charger des piles qui ne sont pas de type rechargeable car celles-ci pourraient surchauffer et se fissurer. (Suivez les directives du fabricant des piles.) 7. Retirez les piles de lappareil sans tarder lorsque celles-ci sont puises. 8. Nettoyez les contacts de pile et ceux de lappareil avant dinstaller les piles. Utilisation 1 Connectez-vous lappareil tel que dcrit prcdemment; Appuyez sur la touche dalimentation MARCHE/ARRT pour allumer lappareil. Le tmoin dalimentation sallumera. Utilisation dun appareil Bluetooth 2 Le tmoin de jumelage Bluetooth clignote rapidement pour indiquer que lappareil est en mode de jumelage. POWER ON OFF u v Vous pouvez galement maintenir enfonce la touche BLUETOOTH pour activer le mode de jumelage. Activez la fonction Bluetooth sur votre dispositif compatible Bluetooth et placez-le moins dun mtre (trois pieds) de lappareil. Mood ( Humeur ) saffichera dans la liste de recherche de votre appareil. Slectionnez Mood pour dmarrer le jumelage. Attendez que le jumelage soit termin et que le tmoin Bluetooth sallume de manire constante. Veuillez vous reporter au mode demploi de votre dispositif Bluetooth pour obtenir des instructions dtailles. Remarques :
Si votre dispositif Bluetooth vous demande dinscrire un mot de passe au cours du processus de jumelage, veuillez inscrire 0000 pour vous connecter. En cas dchec du jumelage, rptez ces tapes. Si un jumelage a t effectu prcdem-
ment, une liste de rsultats de recherche prcdents saffichera. Slectionnez Mood de nouveau. Sur certains dispositifs Bluetooth (par ex., ordinateurs), lorsque le jumelage est termin, vous devez slectionner votre dispositif Bluetooth laide de loption Utiliser comme priphrique audio ou dune option semblable.
