// 1 W E L C O M E This guide will help you get your KUBE up and running, troubleshoot any problems, and keep it looking its best. Please take a few minutes to review.

// 3 EN EN G E T T I N G S TA R T E D I N S TA L L T H E H A N D L E S Remove handles and bolts from the accessory tray. Attach handles, making sure the arrow on the inside of the handle points up. Tighten the bolts using the included KUBE tool. T U R N K U B E O N Press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds. Wait for KUBE to start up (about 30 seconds). Once startup is complete, all KUBEs lights will illuminate. Startup tone tells you KUBE is ready for use. T U R N K U B E O F F Press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds. Button lights animate showing shutdown, then turn off. T U R N T H E V O L U M E U P / D O W N Press the + button to turn the volume up, and the - button to turn the volume down. Press and hold each to quickly ramp volume up or down. C H A R G E T H E B AT T E R Y Locate the power cable. Plug it in (easy). C H A R G E Y O U R D E V I C E U S I N G K U B E Plug your devices USB cable into KUBE. Plug the other end into your device. C H E C K T H E B AT T E R Y L E V E L S TAT U S Quickly press the Power buttondont hold it down. Buttons will illuminate in green, indicating the battery level from low to high. o 5 LED = 100% capacity (battery full) o 4 LED = 80% capacity o 3 LED = 60% capacity o 2 LED = 40% capacity o 1 LED = 20% capacity (charge battery) C O N N E C T U S I N G K U B E A S A W I - F I N E T W O R K ( O U T S I D E M O D E ) Press and hold the Play button. KUBE will restart in Outdoor mode. Open Settings on your iOS / laptop device. Connect your device to KUBE in its Wi-Fi settings. Password is: kubemusic (lower case)

// 5 EN EN C O N N E C T T O Y O U R E X I S T I N G W I - F I N E T W O R K ( H O M E M O D E ) Hold down the Wi-Fi button for 5 seconds until the button flashes blue. Wait about 30 seconds, then scan for new Wi-Fi networks on your iOS/Apple device. KUBE will appear at the bottom as a new AirPlay Speaker. Click Next, and KUBE will join the Wi-Fi network your device is currently connected to. The light on KUBE will turn solid blue
(instead of flashing white). You can now play HD audio on KUBE using AirPlay and your device, anywhere on your network. S W I T C H B E T W E E N W I - F I M O D E S
( H O M E O R O U T S I D E M O D E ) Hold the Play button down for 2 seconds until the Wi-Fi button changes color. Wait 30 seconds for KUBE to switch modes o Solid white Wi-Fi button means Home Mode connected to network o Flashing white Wi-Fi button means Home Mode not connected to network o Solid blue Wi-Fi button means Outside Mode KUBE W-Fi network always available C O N N E C T V I A B L U E T O O T H Quickly press the Wi-Fi button once. Choose KUBE as an available Bluetooth device. No password is required to connect. (Remember that the fewer people in the line of sight between your device and KUBE, the stronger your connection will be.) To connect again, or to connect another phone, tablet or laptop to KUBE, press the Wi-Fi button again. C O N N E C T U S I N G T H E 3 . 5 M M A U D I O C A B L E Connect the included 3.5mm auxiliary cable to KUBE and your music source. KUBE will automatically use this as the input source when connected, overriding all other sources. To use Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connections, unplug the cable. P R O D U C T C A R E C L E A N I N G T H E E X T E R I O R A N D S T O R A G E C O M PA R T M E N T Use only a non-abrasive cleaner with a cleaning cloth (included). Isopropyl alcohol may be used to remove tough stains.

Press Wi-Fi button once, wait for KUBE to show up as available device. Turn KUBE power off. Wait 5 seconds, then turn KUBE power back on. K U B E I S N T M A K I N G A N Y S O U N D Turn KUBE volume up. Turn the volume up on your device. K U B E W O N T R E S P O N D W H E N I P R E S S A N Y B U T T O N S Charge KUBE battery. Turn power on. P O W E R B U T T O N F L A S H E S R E D KUBE is low on battery life. Plug in the power cable. C H A R G E T H E B AT T E R Y Locate the power cable. K U B E W O N T R E S P O N D / S T O P S R E S P O N D I N G Turn KUBE power off. Wait 5 seconds, then turn KUBE power back on. Press Power button for 10 seconds to force reboot of KUBE.

// 9 EN EN I M P O R TA N T S A F E T Y I N F O R M AT I O N 1. Read and follow all instructions. 2. Do not use the device in extreme temperatures. 3. Keep the device away from fire and heat sources. Do not place naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, on or near the device. 4. Do not cover the ventilation openings. Leave at least 4 in (10 cm) clearance around the device for sufficient ventilation. 5. Do not dispose of the battery with regular household waste. The disconnect device shall remain readily operable. 10. WARNING: To completely disconnect the power input, disconnect the power adapter from the AC (mains) outlet. 11. The rating plate is located beneath the hinge of the storage lid and is visible when the storage lid is open. 12. The operating temperature range of the product (0-50 deg C). 13.
