Add camera 3. Tab Continue. Add IP Camera to your mobile app Login After you have downloaded vtech connect, create an account and then login. 7 Pair button Connect Connect the IP Camera NOTES Use only the camera power adapter supplied with this product. Make sure the electrical outlet is not controlled by a wall switch. The power adapter is intended to be correctly oriented in a vertical or floor mount position. The prongs are not designed to hold the plug in place if it is plugged into a ceiling, under-the-table or cabinet outlet. Make sure the camera unit and the power adapter cord are out of reach of children. Make sure you have set up an IEEE 802.11n router (not included). NOTES Check the Wi-Fi coverage of your router. Place the camera unit at a desired place. To maintain compliance with the FCCs RF exposure guidelines, place the IP carmera at least 20cm from nearby persons. 4. Then, tab Search for camera. Add camera 1. After powering up the camera unit, wait for a moment for it to warm up. Tab Add camera. 2. 5. When the blue LED light starts blinking, press and hold the Pair button on the bottom of the camera unit for five seconds. NOTES The blue and red LED lights on the camera unit blink alternately when pairing. A vtech connect user account can pair up to 20 IP cameras. 6. Tab to select the Wi-Fi network, and then tab Continue. Using the IP camera Take photo or record video 1. Touch to take a snapshot of the current view. Camera live view Motion detection You can set the motion detection and/or sound detection functions on. When the function is on, the camera will record a video when it captures movement or sound. Set motion detection on/off:
Adjusting the camera angles You can adjust the camera angles by panning or tilting the camera head. Night vision The IP camera has infrared LEDs that allow you to see the captured views clearly at night or in a dark room. When the IP camera detects low light levels, the infrared LEDs are switched on automatically. NOTE When the infrared LEDs are on, the image is in black and white. This is normal due to external light sources. 7. When you have successfully added the camera unit, tab View Live Camera to start viewing. 2. 3. Touch the video icon on the right below the live view to switch to record video mode. Touch to record a video of the current view. Set sound detection on/off:
TIP If connection fails, press the Pair button on the bottom of the camera unit for five seconds to reboot the camera, and then add the camera again. 4. Touch the camera icon will switch back to take photo mode. Pacemaker patients Should keep wireless devices at least six inches from the pacemaker. Should NOT place wireless devices directly over the pacemaker, such as in a breast pocket, when it is turned ON. WTRs evaluation did not identify any risk to bystanders with pacemakers from other persons using wireless devices.
