Step 2 Choose the location for each of the 10 heads. Ensure cables are long enough to connect to the desired positions. before drilling any holes. Ensure drill is level and 90 to surface being drilled. Step 4 From underneath the decking, feed the head unit and cable up through each installation hole (A). Fit the protective cap onto the head unit - to prevent the unit from dropping back through the holes and to keep debris out (B). Once the decking has been fully assembled and the lights are ready to be installed, remove the protective cap and push the LED unit onto the head unit observing the correct polarity - align the flat part of the connector to ensure correct connection (C) B A C D E Step 5 Fit the assembled head units into the holes by pushing into the hole. The springs on the side of the head will secure the head units in place (D). Connect all looms together and connect directly to the driver output cable, or the extension cable. Ensure any unused heads and cable ends are fitted with the end plug and protective cap to prevent the ingress of moisture (E). Step 6 Connect plug to power supply. ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE WITH REMOTE CONTROL (if applicable) For remote control options Slide the battery cover off the RF controller and fit the battery observing the correct polarity markings Press the On / Off button on the RF controller. The red LED should light at the top, and the signal LED should light on the power supply. Push the RGB button to switch between the different colours; there are seven individual colours and two variable modes. The fixed colour sequence is yellow, white, red, green, blue, purple and light blue. The two variable modes switch between all seven colours and the other fades between them. To synchronise the colours of ore than unit, press and hold the power button for 5 seconds. Ensure that individual units with RGB capability are positioned no more than 10ft (3m) apart for the remote control to work on all units effectively. TESTING Step 7 Turn on the circuit breaker and light switch. When first turned on wait approximately one minute for the circuitry to self calibrate.
